The New South Wales government has backflipped on its plan to force cafes to offer customers who dine in the option of mugs and glasses instead of takeaway cups.
Chris Minns’ government will also ditch a law that would have required businesses to participate in a reusable cup scheme or risk a fine up to $110,000.

Hi, just moved here and I would like to play some rugby sometimes, does anyone know where I could look, or where I could go?
Thanks!

My son is going into year 7 next year and I'm starting to look at laptops. The school supports both Mac and Windows, but most kids use Windows so I suspect there would be a slight comparability advantage with Windows, mostly because the teacher is likely more familiar.
But I like the idea of the Find My compatibility and Apple Care with a mac (probably the new Neo). I know there are Windows alternatives here but it seems mac would be simpler and easier (we use iphones and I use a mac for work).
What do other think/recommend?

Particularly looking for unusual stuff for a fun gift, not just your standard Kodaks and Fujis etc. Thanks for the advice.

I jest. They are merely giving Camperdown Oval a make-over. I would pay good money to have a go on a digger though. Fools!!

Hey everyone, keen to head into the CBD in early November with 12yo and 9yo for a girls weekend,
Can anyone recommend a hotel to stay, close enough to wander, but with a view - I was thinking maybe the Shangri-La? But open to anything around the Rocks or Darling Harbour,
Anyone know of kid friendly activities, or fun places to eat?
Thanks all!

I am wanting to take my wife to the showing of Interstellar Live with orchestra. I was thinking of getting Premium seats but have never been before.
Does anyone have recommendations? Thanks.
Edit: Thanks for all the replies. I decided to go with as close to centre as possible in the circle. Can’t wait.

I’ve used this messaging service before and it was very helpful as I struggle with expressing myself over phone call and much prefer to text.
However, today I tried using it because I was feeling very down and got hit with the following automated message:
“This Lifeline service is unable to connect you with a Crisis Supporter. Supporting you at this time is important to us. Please call 13 11 14 to speak to a Crisis Supporter, or if life is in danger, please call triple zero (000)”
Is it just me that’s getting this message or am I somehow blocked because I’ve been using it too often? I just needed some short term crisis support as I’m feeling unsafe and my next appointment with my psychologist is in 2 weeks…
