Hey everyone hope yall are having a great day. What did you guys think of Melissa? I know Hyde was just very nervous and it was hard for her to talk to him because he didn't know what to say to her because he was "whipped like the family pig" lmaoo. I always thought she was kind of a smart ass though but I'm probably just judging her too harshly. Am I wrong about her? And it really sucks that we didn't see more of her in later episodes because her and hyde would've been a great couple.

Yes, I know this is already a theory and I’m sorry if you all get mad but hear me out.
Leia’s father isn’t Eric, it’s Randy. We know that in season 8; Eric is only in the series finale which is set on New Year’s Eve in 1979, with the final seconds transitioning to 1980. Kelso was only in five episodes of the season.
Leia Anne Forman was born on July 19, 1980. Season 8 takes place during the whole year of 1979, during that season, Donna dated Randy while Eric was off in Africa. So for Leia being born in July of 1980, Donna would’ve gotten pregnant in October of 1979. Meaning that Donna would’ve gotten pregnant before Eric came home.
Eric came home on New Year’s Eve 1979 and that was the series finale. We also know that Randy was a big fan of Star Wars like Eric. In the episode; Spread Your Wings, Donna and Randy were going through Eric’s room, then we see a scene of them sitting on the car. Randy then picked up the lightsaber and Donna started imagining Randy as Eric which prompted her to push him off the car like she used to do to Eric.
I think Donna picked the name for Leia because she knew it’s what Eric and Randy would’ve liked, but she never told Eric about Randy, Eric never bothered to question the pregnancy on how Leia was born in July and Eric raised her as his, hence why she has the last name Forman.
What do you guys think?

dude seems to travel and has a business going with the records and such. it’s not impossible.
maybe she’ll try to weasel back into his life once she realizes he has money.
imagine that episode, him telling his mom to piss off and she gets nothing.

Rewatching the first season now and the actors, every time they’re holding a magazine, are flipping it the wrong way. Does anyone know why that is?

Been on a recent rewatch and I remembered this oddity, on the promo on the mill creek release, this shot from “that wrestling show” shows Hyde’s line was longer “why would he fight back his face is stuck between your” and then Eric throws his thumb up, but on all versions the shot is different, a close up, he motions with his hand and then it’s a wide shot announcing the wrestling, Hyde never says the rest of the line and it got me wondering if anyone here heard it in an OG broadcast
