Now, while scrolling through this Icarly sub Reddit, think it’s fair to say that most people really dislike Chuck’s character and many of his horrible, violent attacks on one the show‘s adored and biggest fan favorites, Spencer. I get it.
But there’s one thing that we all can’t deny, and it’s that Chuck was definitely being primed and ready to become a bigger character by Season 3/4 and onwards (Dan and Ryan Ochoa confirmed it on Twitter back then), and I could definitely see why. Chuck could’ve been a very interesting dynamic to add to the show, almost like a mischievous bad boy, yet cunning and crafty, juvenile type of character. Very much like “Katie Knight” (Kendall’s little sister from Big Time Rush) or even a bit of Logan Reese persona from Zoey 101. He showed potential of that, especially in that Lewbert’s lost love/hall monitor episode. That was Chuck’s best episode because he had much more dialogue and comedic chops, and was guven much more to work with it, instead of his other episodes where he’s just tormenting Spencer with no real substance. Very charismatic as well.
Another funny subplot I thought would’ve been entertaining is that if they brought Gia back (Chuck’s olde sister) to date Spencer, but instead of only tormenting Spencer, Chuck tries to mess with Carly, using it as blackmsil or leverage, so that that Spencer would have no choice but to fold, just so he could dating Gia. There was so content we could’ve got… anyway please share your thoughts below!
