Hi :) I am watching Arrested Development for the first time, and I have just began season 3. Needless to say what an amazing show this is, so quotable, and I'm sure I'll only realize some of the jokes after a few rewatches.

No one in my circle, however, has even heard of the show :( I was having dinner yesterday with some friends of mine and someone said their Yoga teacher had been a doctor and had quit to do more "creative work". I said he sounded a lot like Tobias and no one got it.

So I wanted to ask here: Who are your favorite characters and why? I debate with myself everyday about this. I laugh the most with Tobias, Lucille and George Senior, and I think that they are amazingly crafted characters, but I also have a soft spot for Buster and Gob ("I don't care for Gob").

Also, (no spoilers pls), how does the whole movie studio - Maeby situation work? Is it for comedic purposes or do schools in the US not notify the parents when their kids don't show up to class? (I'm from Spain, Europe, and in my school parents would get called if a kid was missing and did not justify why, even social services could be called if this happened repeatedly)

Did anyone else notice that in the fifth season, the magic set that Gob steals from Michael says ‘feel the wonder inside you’. I thought that was funny in Blunder context! There’s so many little things in this show that you don’t notice, it’s hilarious.
