Languages IWTL how to remember long texts in a foreign language

I joined my schools Spanish theatre class because they needed one more person and no one wanted to participate, and now I have to remember like 4 pages of text in Spanish.

I know the basics of Spanish, pronunciation and stuff, but I don't understand the whole text.

Any help highly appreciated!

Technology IWTL how to make a 3d game engine

I want to make my own game engine (in C or C++) and make it cross-platform (I code on a mac and occasionally on linux) and maybe add console exports like 3ds wii u or switch (really optional). I can't find a single good tutorial on how to make a 3d renderer...

Academics IWTL how to express and articulate ideas and thoughts.

Im a high school student from Spain. I have always enjoyed reading and humanities based subjects (History, spanish, philosophy...) but I always found that I cannot express Ideas, or topics from a book im reading, a text we have to analyze for class, etc.

It seems to me that I am always stuck in the superficial idea of what the author is telling me. And, if im lucky enough to find the depth of the idea, I cannot seem to express it correctly. I have always tried to find ways to change how I think or write to try to improve but it seems I cant. I have done, and I am still doing, all the regular advice: read more books and add variety to them ( I have read classics, non fiction, fantasy history etc), I keep a journal in which I try to articulate my thoughts and write them, I sometimes write narritives of fictional characters I imagine. I do all this and all the usual practices we do in school to make us learn this ability.

What am I failling on? How is that even doing all this I get a low grade in Spanish, philosophy and so because I can't expresse myself correctly? Maybe I have been following the wrong path all along

Personal Skills IWTL How to Effectively Care for and Revive Dying Houseplants

I have a terrible habit of buying houseplants then watching them slowly decline and eventually die. I've tried different watering schedules and sunlight amounts but nothing seems to stick. I'd love to learn how to identify what's actually wrong with a sad-looking plant and how to nurse it back to health. Any tips for a serial plant killer?
