Some people need to retake their driving test both written and actual driving.

Is there any valid reason that Lachevis Finnie should get off lightly for excessively speeding around a stopped school bus then striking and killing Mariana Espinoza and fleeing the scene? It's my thought these actions should warrant being tried as an adult for the blatant disregard of human life.

I’m not going to link it because I’m sure it’s already in here. But after reading a 6 year old girl was killed by someone with fake paper tags, i want to find other victims of fake paper tags. I was t-boned in a green light off 12th st last year by a stolen car from CLEMMONS with, you guessed it, fake SC paper tags. Oh, he got out and ran, too. So they never caught him, asked the cop if they ran prints because car thieves are usually in the system and they didn’t.
So very obviously the cops do not care, because if they did these cars would be pulled over before someone gets hurt or killed. I guess we will see if a little girl dying will enact some kind of change but I am fucking sick of this and want to see what we can do here, on Reddit because obviously this is where it *all* goes down. /rant
PS- not here to debate the any of the political bullshit that is irrelevant to the issue at hand. We need fake paper tags off the road now

We haven’t had any brewery drama in a while. Anyone have any news?

My son’s field trip was cancelled yesterday because there were 19 drivers who called out. Today there were 17. I don’t know how big our bus driver pool is, but it severely impacted kids getting to school yesterday (some were over an hour late). I know CMS is strapped for drivers. Is everyone getting the flu, or are the drivers protesting?

Hey y’all, I have a bunch of higher-end designer clothes that I’d like to consign. I sent a lot to The RealReal but they don’t accept everything. I have also donated many items. But, I need all the help I can get in this economy.
Looking for recommendations from people who have had luck consigning, not just good places to shop. ThreadUp has begun ripping people off who sell through them, so I’d like to find one closer to home.

What happened to the Charlotte Hornets logo and benches? The court probably needed to be resurfaced, but curious on why the Hornets pulled out of the sponsorship? I thought it was a really cool spot and connection to the city.

I found this keychain today at Queen City Townes. I hung it on the mailbox kiosk. I hope you read this.

My car is in the shop and I’ve gotta be at work at 6am tomorrow. Is it possible to get an uber to uptown at 5am? I live in plaza midwood.

Anyone else got an official-looking “final notice” letter about a lapse in homeowner insurance from an outfit called Superior Home Protection? I immediately clocked it as a scam (they mailed it to my spouse whereas I handle the insurance, and we go through a different company), but I’m worried that others might not be so lucky.
Doing a quick web search shows that they target cities other than Charlotte, but this is the first time in my time owning a home that I’ve been hit with something this brazen!

This is more of a Facebook mom group question, but I dont have Facebook and I'm not a Mom.
I am looking for any recommendations for activity gyms for a kids/toddlers.
Google results for this kind of suck, so I was looking to see if anyone's (adult) gym had kids classes that maybe arent pushed to the top of the search. Or even a studio that's aimed at older kids but has young programs once or twice a week?
My daughter is a super active (almost) 2.5 year old, and we are looking for something active to do with her on weekends. I'm pretty sure we have hit every playground in the CLT metro by this point so looking for something else.
We tried the little gym in Dilworth, and she liked it, but her class was a little unstructured (not the instructors fault). I get it they are young, but it was essentially an open gym regardless of what the instructor was trying to do as the parents just really no control of their kids or respect for the rest of the people there. I realize that sounds a bit harsh, but it was kind of awkward at some points how little some of these parents tried.
We did KidStrong, and my wife said she loved it, and we were bought in, until we learned it was 180 dollars a month for once a week classes, and required a commitment and 100 dollar registration fee.
It seems a lot of things start at 3-4 years old, which I get with potty training/ average attention span of anyone younger, but we are staring down the barrel of winter with a newborn and a 2.5 year old in a 1300 sq ft townhouse, so trying to see what else might be out there.
We are near uptown but can drive a bit.
As a side note, we also did the bunnyhive trial as well when she turned 2. At that point she had pretty much aged out of their program.

I was wondering and hope is okay. If anyone was interested or going to Coyote Joes this Saturday?
I would love to go but I don’t have anyone that would want to come with me. I don’t have a costume but I’ll be dressed up provocative lol and I just want to have fun. Looking for anyone that’s interested in meeting up as a group. 🙂 by the way I’m F40, any age of course that wants to meetup and have fun and be safe.

So I looked up the races on the ballot and I’m feeling confident about my understanding of those.
But the bonds are a different story. I could have sworn I saw something about a cap on property taxes somewhere Example of my home is worth 3 million I only pay to the cap not yearly and evermore as the rest of the population. Did I misread it? What are the hidden parts of the bonds? I only see very simple explanations

Does anyone have a recommendation for where to take PC peripherals to get repaired? I love my mouse, and I’d rather have it fixed than buy a new one.
