I'm sitting here trying to sign up for classes and literally half of them don't even exist on self service registration.

Will these appear as registration goes on?

Where can I get a last minute scantron?

I'm transferring in, starting Summer 2027. Wondering if anyone had suggestions for the "correct" course progression? I have all my Gen-Ed. requirements done besides Calculus and Intro to Stats, so just need the major-specific courses! If anyone's been in a similar situation, I'd love to hear what you did :) (also, since my first semester is the summer semester, which courses are best to take over the summer?)

I’m currently 20 and thinking about applying
applying to UNCC for next fall, but I’ll be 21 by the time I start. I’ve taken some community college classes, but I’d still basically be starting over as a freshman.

I really want the traditional college experience, like living on campus, making friends, going out, and getting involved, but I’m nervous that I’ll be too old compared to everyone else.

Would being a 21 year old freshman be weird at UNCC? Is it easy to make friends around my age? I feel like I’m overthinking it, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has any advice!

I am currently at dorming at Scott hall and I don’t think I can stay with my roommate any longer it is a traditional room and he is always on call or doing something loud and I can tolerate it anymore and I don’t know if I can expect him not to be on call all the time so I wanted to ask if there is anyone else with a loud roommate or anyone that is quieter that’s knows someone that is willing to switch rooms.

yeah so I definitely forgot to do spring pre-registration and I know the registration opens up today. the problem is that advisors don't look at your plan of study after October 26 and I still have a hold for registration. is there a way I can get this hold taken off or am I just cooked big time

I noticed that the application for Spring housing just opened up, and was wondering if anyone knew when to expect to hear back regarding assignments. Thank you!

Hi, I'm looking for a female student to take over my lease ($562 per month) at Latitude 49 for the spring. It is a top floor 4 bedroom unit with two other roommates who are clean and quiet. Our unit is pest free, wifi and water are included with rent. Renewal is available going forward. I will cover your first month to sweeten the deal. Please DM for inquries, I will be happy to answer questions!

Hello! Looking for a sublease for my friend and me this summer, as we are interning in the city. Looking for something with 2 bedrooms and we are pretty flexible on price. South of UNCC is optimal, but we are open to anything in the area. Feel free to dm me!

Edit: We are both guys :)

Hi everyone, I’m a sophomore currently with junior standing, and I see that my registration date is November 3rd. I was told registration opens on October 26th, does anyone else have a registration date that late?

The professor is Dr. Yao Li. What is everyone's experience with this class (difficulty, workload, time commitment, etc.)? Also, what kind of stuff do you do during that three hour lab(?) one day a week?

Hello friends, I am doing the planning for next semester, spring 2027, and was curious about the intro physics 1 class. The structure to this is so strange to me. When I looked at the meeting times the Tuesday is lecture in person, okay I get that. The MWF afternoon is online so its going to be a online lecture at those times? The M night for two hours wasnt assigned a building or anything so IDK if that is some sort of recitation? Anyone that has seen this before would be great for info. This is just one section of 5ish that I am using for as an example. Thanks in advance!

hey, i’ve been living in miltimore and it feels like one of the elevators isn’t being called correctly / wont call fully when i try? im not sure if something is going on with them but i feel like i might just be impatient. anyone else had an issue like this?

What's up with that?

I am a big fan of old timey arcade cabinets and pinball machines, so I thought it was pretty cool that one was added to Norm's lounge. The only problem is that the joystick is completely unusable in the down direction. It will only go down once in every 20 attempts, and it becomes immediately clear that it's broken when you try and select a game (after paying btw).

It's annoying, I've talked to the workers about it multiple times and have even put notes on the machine telling people that the down function is broken, except they always get taken down. It feels like a scam, since they won't fix it, close it, or even let people even know that it's dysfunctional. Anyways that didn't stop me from absolutely destroying the digdug leaderboard:

I'm finishing up my schedule and need to choose between one or the other. A quick search online makes it seem as though these classes are literal hell however. Which one is better and are there any good professors?

Hi! I'm a freshman in Electrical Engineering. I'm just looking for some friends its kinda hard to meet people besides in 2 of my classes and I can't join clubs for a month or two more due to not being able to drive myself for a few more weeks. I love MMA ( both striking and grappling), video games like RE and MGS, manhwas, and a bunch more of random stuff. If anyone wants to talk online or in person I'm on campus for tuesdays and thursdays! It just gets kind of boring doing nothing but random stuff on my laptop for 2 or 3 hours. If anyone wants to talk hmu 🫠

I’m currently a freshman majoring in pre-nursing. I got a 79.23% on the intro to A&P course and was wondering if that would entirely mess up my GPA? I’m also wanting to work part time as a CNA because I don’t know a lot of places here in Charlotte that do PRN. So, any job recommendations on that? I start my prerequisites in the spring and I was hoping to know what were some personal stats of those who did get into the nursing program as of recently! Also, I want to know the best resources to study for my prerequisite classes? (YouTube channels, websites, personal study methods, etc.) 🥲🥲

Searched up here, but no relevant posts.

How yall doing on campus? What u major in? How is IB vibe on Charlotte?

I'm an engineering major but a bit interested. Should i take a math class to get a taste of it?

Hello! I need help getting responses for a survey I'm conducting for my COSC 1600 class. We want to see if there is a relationship between student reported study duration to exam grade outcomes across different foundational STEM courses at UNCC.

If you've taken or are currently taking the following courses, please feel free to submit an exam grade and the time you spent studying towards that exam (we do not see your email or personal information so please don't worry about submitting any type of grade).

BIOL 1100, BIOL 2120, CHEM 1200, CHEM 1251, MATH 1103, or MATH 1241

Help a guy out pls so I can have a dataset. The survey takes around 30 seconds. Thank you for reading and taking your time to fill out the survey!

hey! any voting locations on campus you guys know of???
