Trans Masculine I guess I’m a de-detransitioner

So in middle and high school I used to have this “trans phase” I guess, but I decided I didn’t care enough and tried harder to be womanly? idk it hasn’t really bothered me until I went to visit my parents, my mom decorated the basement like my childhood bedroom and set out a bunch of clothes I might want and one of those things was my chest binder. I put it on just for shits and giggles, but I really really liked how I looked with a flat chest. But then I was kinda upset when I took it off. Now when I look in the mirror I just wanna cry.

I’m 23 now and it’s been 8 years since I detransitioned. I’ve tried so hard to forget those feelings, but I’m not even sure why. I was my happiest despite not even being fully out. I’m feeling 8 years of dysphoria all at once. It feels so completely awful but freeing? At least I have adult money and don’t have to hide from my family anymore.

I’ve been living a 3sizes too small binder for almost a week. I’ve also bought some masculine clothes at goodwill yesterday and haven’t taken off one of the sweaters since I washed it. I just got my haircut three weeks ago and now I want it even shorter.

I feel so stupid for delaying something that could’ve been great.

Trans Feminine Question about peeing post op

So I’m working on the steps to get my vagina, but I keep thinking about what is it like to pee with a vagina? I mean I know conceptually but I just want to hear other girls opinions on this because embarrassingly I’m kind of excited to pee with a vagina.

Discussion Cyberpunkgame trans discourse situation:

For context: cyberpunk 2077 has a trans character in it. And the moderators of r/cyberpunkgame decided to ban posts about said trans character and trans folk in general so they wouldn’t have to filter out hate speech. Aka: so they wouldn’t have to do the job they volunteered to do. They then walked back the rule after huge backlash from the subreddit… and then removed and banned the one mod that spoke out against the rule for “going against them” and they’re still removing trans-related posts and posts talking about the incident. And they changed the banner and sub icon to pander to LGBTQ+ folk and pretend that nothing happened. Like absolute cowards.

In an age where media about trans folk and trans people in general are censored. I think it’s understandable why people like myself were so pissed… well… some gonks flooded the comment sections and told us to “shut up” “ugh this so annoying!” “It’s not that deep bro” “they’re mods they should be allowed to regulate the subreddit how ever they want!” “Go touch some grass!” “Both sides are cringe lol” “you’re making this about yourselves” “such virtue signaling”!

Those gonks, the ones who are telling us to shut up… are the reason we should be loud.

Vent About Reddit Pushing Detrans Propaganda

I can't say it here even though i'm not the one with blood on my hands, but comedian Bill Hicks already said what needed to be said about people who work in marketing and advertising. Yes marketing and advertising people at Reddit that is for you for being complicit in genocide. Reddit has blood on their hands.

Advice How do you live as trans?

I mean really, is it even possible to get a job, as trans? I recently discovered that I am a trans woman, and I am afraid that I will end up on the street. I have always had big plans in my life, and I was making a great effort to achieve them, but now I wonder if it is even possible, especially in this transphobic world. So is it possible to get a job as a trans woman? I am scared. I would love to hear some stories from more experienced trans people.

Trans Feminine How true is it that there are certain corporate jobs that will be more challenging or may not even want Trans women in it?

I was talking to a friend who said that her company moved her from sales to a pre sales support role after her transition. She suspects it's because of her transition and that many of the company's clients are based in the Middle East or conservative Asian countries.

Her role was client facing, meeting face to face, going on teams calls with the camera on. The reduced role is an indication that they want her to leave. So she's been searching for a way to get out but without much luck.

I'm just thinking back like we see trans girls in internal/support/non delivery roles like HR, Payroll, Compliance, Project support, IT but it's rare to hear about them being the ones travelling in business class to drive client engagement or securing deals.

Advice Need help coming up with a name

Hey y'all, I'm 18 years old (MtF) and I'm struggling to come up with a proper name. I hate my brith name, Elijah, and don't want a name starting with E. I've been trying the name 'Nova' for a while, and while I like it, I don't think it really fits. Any suggestions, stories or kind words would be very appreciated.

Advice Feel very worried about my future 😓 (MTF16)

I'm currently in 11th grade from india, I'm a trans girl and I have to boymode which I hate doing and I don't wanna live in this country, but idk where to go after high school.. at first I was planning on Germany but then depression hit and now with my learning abilities all nerfed I don't think I can learn German in time

Then I tried aiming for the US but after reading a lot of pessimistic threads I feel very demotivated and like there's too much competition from Indian people.

I was thinking about looking into Canada but I've heard they hate Indian immigrants and also has a lot of competition from Indians, I feel very overwhelmed and don't know what to do :(

I just wanna go to a trans friendly country and be able to freely express myself, I wanna study math related courses and my grades are decent (so far atleast)

Advice How to support queer kids?

I read the rules and idk if this post is against them or not so hopefully it is but im a bus monitor for elementary age children in a very conservative area, today, a student about 9 years old came to me and told me that hes gay and thinks that he might want to be a girl but isn't sure. (using he/him for the child because he isnt sure) I told him that its okay that he feels that way and that jesus loves him no matter what (he asked, i am not christian but he is) and that'd hes one of my bus kiddos and I love all of them not matter what. What do I do to help support this child?

Trans Masculine Minor, transphobic mother wont let me do really important internship if i dont go by she/her

I'm a teen and I got accepted into a big internship and my mom will take me out of it (I already signed the thing that says I cant cancel it) if she finds out I go by he/him... should I risk it or just go back into the closet. Stupid thing is that the people running it already know I'm trans??? I was thinking of maybe having a quick convo explaining my situtation but is that maybe reason to call cps or smth??? i def dont want that to happen and idk what to do

EDIT: I told my father and he said that the best thing i can do is tell the director of the program my situation and ask her what she thinks. It's tomorrow so wish me luck!!

Trans Feminine Coming out

• Upvotes

I don’t know how to say it or who to talk to, but I’m ready to admit to myself that I am not the man I’ve been pretending to be my whole life. I’ve had to copy men for years and imitate their styles and habits. I’ve masked for so long it feels like it’s too late. The only place I allowed myself to be me was in video games, I always chose a female character and would use every excuse under the book, smaller hit box, nicer avatar to look at, etc. But I’m tired of hiding and pretending to be anything that I’m not. I’m a woman and I want to begin HRT and become the woman that I’ve always had hiding within.

Trans Feminine MtF 21y, How be more Feminine

Hello redditors, I’m here to ask for some help on how to present myself—how to be and how to act in a more feminine way. I’m currently restyling my "boymode" clothes, as I want to give them a new, more feminine meaning, but I still very much look like a man. I’m not sure how to be more feminine; it’s also worth mentioning that I have thrombophilia, which essentially prevents me from undergoing HRT. I’m looking for advice on how to be a girl—and look more like one—without HRT, including tips on how to mask certain masculine features, and so on.

Am I trans? Idk if I'm weird for this, but I'm kinda indifferent about my gender identity problem? (15m?)

I'm in this really weird position of my gender identity where I'm split on what I should be.

On one hand: I'm a guy. I've always been a guy, always went by he/him, always got offended when I was called a girl

On the other hand: I'm very feminine, I scroll r/petraparker, r/wholesomeyuri where I say all the time I want to be in their place, plus r/funcommunity (If you know, yk), and I've liked to fantasize about coming out as trans even though I don't want to come out because there's nothing to come out about

I've got to the conclusion that I'm either

A. Feminine Guy

B. Femboy

C. Bi-gender

or D. Transfem

Idk, I wanted to get an opinion from people I know wont make fun of me, so... If you want to ask me questions or something, I'd appreciate it

(Also I'm autistic, so if I said something that could offend you, I did not mean it like that, I'm bad at communication)

Advice I’m a 24 year old man, but I’m questioning my sexuality

I’ve been male presenting my whole life. When I was around 11 or 12, I started wanting to wear women’s clothes. Around that time I also started coming up with imaginary stories about myself, in which I’d always be female. I even started drawing pictures of myself as a female at one point (I cant remember how old I was)

For the past few years, I’ve started becoming attracted to transgender women, which has been confusing, as I’ve always thought of myself as straight. This week, I went out and started shopping for women’s clothing, and I found it incredibly exciting. I’m still confused about what it means. I’m not sure if I’m just a man who is attracted to crossdressing, of if I need to be asking more serious questions about my sexuality. Any advice is welcome!
