That was the rune set up Siwoo ran when he solo killed myrwin. Is this a common thing for ornn? I’ve never seen storm raiders ornn at all, it gave him a lot of movespeed to counteract Jayce E slow and run down the Jayce.

not having a hard time here but killing trundle mid-late game is very very very hard since he jsut heals (in lane) and i also cant get his tower and always lose the first tower. is this how this matchup works?

Hello everyone! I used to be an Ornn otp about 3 years ago and climbed to Master. But right now, as weird as it might sound, I'm stuck in Gold 1-2 and have been for a week.

There's something I just can't figure out. I'm still winning most of my laning phases like 3-0 4-0, but once teamfights start, it feels like I'm playing with a broken controller while trying to stick to my old playstyle.

Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong or how I should adapt my playstyle to the current season? What things changed?

Unsure if this is widely known or not but a quick PSA to all Ornns of the world. If you’re upgrading your teammate as they hop into herald to drive it, they’ll dodge the upgrade while the passive charge still gets consumed.

The animation of getting in herald makes that player immune to all damage and completely untargetable, so it looks like the game also mistakenly doesn’t know where to send the upgrade, so it just vanishes.

I believe this at one point was also a bug with Fizz where if he did his hop, making him untargetable, the upgrade would vanish into air but that one I haven’t tested.

I've been loving Ornn as a refugee from R/poppymains. Ornn is like someone problem solved poppys issues. You create the terrain you stun into, you can use dash to escape, you have damage, etc.

I actually won 12 in a row and made it to plat 4. But now that im pushing into plat I'm getting walked down hard at level 1 and either dying, or losing the lane with the trade.

I thought it was just Olaf and Sett maybe, the bullies, but Jax walked me down too.

Any advice on the early levels of Ornn?

My two main picks are ornn and mord, ornn being the one i mostly play. i go ornn as a blind pick or against bruisers/juggernauts and mord when i need to bully in lane or enemy team comp lacks mobility. pocket malphite is there to counter ranged matchups.

however i heavily struggle against dulists and hypercarries like fiora, tryndamere, sometimes yone and yasuo on a bad day.

looking for a champ to fill that role, and other champ recommendations are welcomed for whatever situation i missed. (i know malph fills that role but i'd like to have more agency over lane and deny farm rather than just hitting Q and running)

Basically title. The amount of times I have to type in chat to beg some jackass to come close enough for me to ugrade them is making me lose my mind. I can understand some form of rationale behind not allowing Ornn to upgrade items globally, but ffs at least make the range two times bigger.

Hey guys, I'd like to ask if y'all would be interested in having a League tool that could calculate Ornn effective HP against physical and magic damage automatically by selecting a custom set of items and conditions as a way to compare and see which builds are the best in different scenarios.

I came up with the idea a while ago. The way I would compare and see what builds make you the tankiest is by going into practice tool, buying different items, and manually calculating EHP. However this is a slow and tedious process, as well as inaccurate since I am using the rounded up stat numbers that the game shows. It's also difficult to set up realistic scenarios since I would have to spend a long time setting up things like stacking overgrowth or factoring in things like armor/mr shred.

Which is why I decided to initially make an excel version where you can select items and things like minions absorbed by overgrowth, champion level, anti heal, armor pen, etc., and the spreadsheet would show you the EHP against physical and magic damage with those exact conditions, as well as the ehp depending on the amount of times you would proc healing effects in a fight like font of life and unending to see what would be the breakpoint where those effects would outvalue items with flat stats.

Then I thought of turning it into a website so that anyone can use it more easily as well as being able to add more things like gold specific features and other things. This could also be made for other tank champions. Which is why Id like to know if y'all would use this tool so that I can look into the idea further and invest more time.
