I love and play this champion since his release. Although I loved his old kit, I completely understand why they had to remove it. The new kit, however, lacks skill expression and coherence with Aurelion Sol's identity.

I'd keep his Q, W, R, but what I would change is his E.

In terms of design: Why should Aurelion create black holes? You play as the Star Forger, yet somehow all he creates are dying stars collapsing under their own weight, and he yeets falling stars on the rift as an ultimate. That feels pretty trash for a Star Forger? I'd replace the Black Hole with a planet. Planets have gravity too, so they can pull entities too since none of them are big enough to be able to resist its gravity.

Now for the spell change itself :

- Make the scaling happen not on the diameter, but on the number of planets you can create. Let's say you start with 2 planets. After X stardust, you unlock a third one, after Y stardust, another one, etc.

- To balance this change, you significantly reduce the diameter of the planet (and the diameter stays fixed). The stacking mechanic stays the same.

- And lastly, to add skill expression to this champ : Allow Aurelion Sol's W trajectory to be deflected by the planet's pull. If you W straight in the planet's center nothing happens, however there would be a circle around the planet that deflects the W clockwise/anti-clockwise. Before casting the spell the blue arrow would change depending on the planets, allowing you to see the direction you would take. Of course you can still cancel/reset on kills.

- Rest of the spells are unchanged.

That way:

- Aurelion Sol actually becomes a Star Forger and not a Star Killer. The location of the stars actually matters because it can deflect your W, so if you're the cautious creator ASol is supposed to be, you'll win your fight.

- Resolves the paradox on his W: Supposed to be used to roam yet your champ is weak early and wants to farm, this time it can be used in way more versatile manners, to escape ganks, to trade aggressively, etc.

- I believe this change would make Asol less of a teamfighter and more aggressive in 1v1.

- In an era where Riot is trying to find new mobility mechanics, I believe we've never had the "deflected dash" mechanic. Brings innovation to champ.

Let me know what you think, of course I know it's just my two cent and I'm not a theory crafter to pull out the numbers, but I thought I'd share my ideas for my favorite champ!

Q: Bugs fixes
W: Adjustments to the animations to eliminate clunkiness, this might also resolve some bugs related to the Q ability, as the startup phase and the end of the flight often interfere with the Q.

I recommend bringing back the old 'W' barrel roll movement in this animation or remove the Wind up animation completely so alot of buggs from Q are also fixed.

And to further refine the champion: remove the restrictions on runes and items whose effects are triggered when abilities are used. This would allow for a variety of strategies—for instance, by making use of Conqueror, Stormraider's, Electrocute, and so on.

I was agaisnt a Cho today in top lane and he absolutely destroyed me. 1 knockup and I would be perma slowed til i died. His q cooldown is like 4 seconds or something it disgusting. He out sustained and out traded me until 20 minutes where my Q could actually chunk him. That rocketbelt+HoB combo is absolutely disgusting even after I've bought rylai's. My WR agaisnt Cho is surprisingly 100% even tho every game that I lane agaisnt him it's absolutely horrible.

As the title says, if you check onetricks almost no high elo asol onetricks buy a tear or build blackfiretorch, i understand they use precision for mana but i feel like thats still not enough, anyone knows?

They could launch a Center of universe Star Based rework of aurelion sol on a new champion, with basically his old kit slightly adjusted

How do you play Asol when you got both lanes just throwing? I have had two games today where my bot lane has given up almost 20 kills before 25 minutes. I know it happens, just trying to figure out what to do. Recently picked up asol, but it feels hopeless when team is just dying every two minutes. Mind you I am in bronze any knowledge would be appreciated.

This is more of a "what if" not that they should. I'm curious what kind of buffs people would want on him that aren't too broken.(Do not include bugs in this cause the bugs on him obviously need to get fixed)

Hi all, I'm an experiencing an issue where, when using W on the map, it will often go in the opposite direction as I intend, which can often be frustrating as if I'm using W it's usually either to go towards or away from something, so going in the opposite direction as desired can result in an ally's death, lost kill, etc.

I've been careful not to swing my mouse too much and try to be deliberate in where I release W, so I'm *fairly* certain I'm correctly triggering W on the map... unless I'm just not being careful enough? Does anyone have any tips/advice on solving this issue? Or is it just a skill issue and I keep messing up my W casts

Sorry if this is a dumb question. But I started playing Aurelion Sol in a lot of games and I definitely have enough sample size to notice bugs regularly on this champion. My two most frequent ones being the W flying in an opposite (or random, I cant tell, but it's usually the opposite) direction, and the Q being locked to a position while W is on. I feel like the latter is related to the space bar but maybe I'm wrong.

I just wnana know if these bugs happen randomly or if I'm doing something I should be aware of.

Team was loosing but with me being in mid now and mid game we were making a comeback and winning the team fights . I had 9.2 cs and was at 3.5 items. Enemy had no cc expect bc . But just when I was enganege beautifully into a good fight I lost power and game cut off . I don t even care about my lp the game was just so good . Everyone was loosing but with my stacks and lack of cc I was carrying the team . My whole week is ruined and I don’t think I ll play this game again …

For anyone wondering how I got 500 stacks that fast , I was against a mundo and nunu camped me so I was easily able to generate stacks . Especially mundo gave me so much Stardust .

What are some supports that synergize well with ASol bot? Those who do not?

Same question with enemy botlane. What are some botlanes that are complete redflag for Asol? And others where I can stack for free?

I'm building my Botlane champ pool and I want Asol to be a part of it.

I know my kills are very low so is the others stuff Thisis my 4th time playing asol in total after a long time but man this match touched my heart, soo much dopamine hit playing with open Nexus while not a single turrent of enemy base, but me and tristana carried sooo hard too much dopamine hit

When to pick , when not to pick any differences from mid ?

For context I m a master 200 lp jinx zeri otp but I do ban jonx her when I m not first pick and I have 400K on asol mid . Just looking for some knowledge on how to play him bot or if he has any differences. Also how he scales against most adc s.

It was only a normal but I got 1159 stacks in a normal game. Is this close to a record or anything like that? Outside of games specifically held to get endless stacks

Old AuSol was so unique, fun to play and also strong. They shouldn't waste his old machanic. Istead of just un-reworking AuSol, they could simply bring his old mechanic back in the form of a new champ, like AoShin, another star forger. If we make enough noise, I think this could happen.

Every time I get 10 or 20 kills, there's something weird going on. Whenever I check my total damage at the end of the game, I'm only getting 15k damage or less, even with 20 kills. However, there are also rare times when I manage to deal 60k damage in a short amount of time.
