Hey ladies! Iâm hoping to meet more women who are into cars, especially other Mustang owners. If youâre comfortable sharing, how old are you, what general area are you from, and what year and model of Mustang do you drive? Iâd love to hear about your cars and connect with fellow car girls!

Am I the only person that genuinely kind of likes the sn95 interior. I feel like I get a-lot of flack whenever I bring this up but imo if you have a well kept interior they look great.

Just got my mustang today and switching between it and my Vette is a huge difference in feel. I believe it has a short throw shifter, but the clutch pedal feels heavier, and the grab point feels a bit smaller than my Vette. Anyway to fix this? Glad to be back in a mustang

In the haystack I finally bought one, 3.7 v6 6 speed standard with short shifter and reverse lockout.
Custom exhaust and tuned, need to take a better Pic just got it registered and inspected.
Grandfather already trying to polish it

Hey folks, moved to California from Ireland for work, and It's always been a dream of mine to own a mustang. I have no specific year or style in mind, wouldn't mind a convertible. My budget is around 15-18k max, but to be honest, anything less is welcome too. Is that a reasonable budget, what are some good years for reliability, I have driven old cars all my life so not oppose to older years either? I am not super fussed on power, I just want something that's nice to drive around in and explore more of the US in.

2018 Mustang GT , 68k miles. Soft top. Gave me 29.5k otd. I'd prefer no convertible but here we are.

By day four or five after washing my car, it's already looking dusty again. i had like to keep a quick detailer spray in the garage for a five-minute wipe-down rather than dragging the hose out every time. Nothing fancy, just something that can remove light dust and keep the car looking clean between washes.

yâall, I need some advice.
I have a 2019 Mustang convertible with around 80K miles. Itâs my second car, so I barely even drive it. Maybe 1,000 miles a year, if that. Itâs mostly just sitting there looking cute until family comes into town or I feel like taking it out.
Anyway, I need to renew my registration, and of course, I gotta get a smog check every year. Only problem is my check engine light is on.
So I took it to Firestone. They fixed what they could, but there were two issues they couldnât figure out:
* PCM fault
* Cylinder #2 misfire
They told me Iâd have to take it to Ford.
Cool. Took it to Ford, paid the $200 diagnostic fee, and these people came back telling me it would cost $4,000 just to tear the engine apart to figure out whatâs wrong. Mind you, thatâs BEFORE any actual repairs.
Yeah, no. Iâm good on that. đ
So I declined. Then, magically, the next day they called saying they think itâs coolant intrusion and that I might need a cylinder head repair.
Like, okay, so now yâall have an idea of whatâs wrong?
Hereâs my thing. Iâm not trying to get rid of this car. Itâs my second vehicle, I barely put miles on it, and Iâd honestly like to keep it another 5â8 years. I donât see the point of trading it in and taking on another car payment when I already have something I like.
Iâm guessing the car is worth somewhere around $10Kâ$13K, so dropping thousands at the dealership just for them to possibly figure it out doesnât sit right with me.
So I gotta ask yâall:
Iâm not against paying to get my car fixed. I just refuse to throw $4K at a dealership for them to start taking stuff apart without even knowing what the final bill is gonna look like.
And Iâm definitely not trying to trade in a perfectly good-looking Mustang just because of one check engine light.
What would yâall do? Anybody been through this? Iâm just trying to get this thing fixed, pass smog, and keep my car without getting played on the repair costs. đ
Appreciate any advice!

Hey.
My mustang is s550 base model that comes with a wheel that holds a maximum of 245 tires. I was given gifts (CAI, LTH...etc) that will take my car fo nearly 420whp. The problem is that I cant change the wheels now. Does anyone have experience with 245 tires on +420whp?

I am having an issue with my 1999 Ford Mustang GT I am losing coolant I canât find any leaks anywhere. This has been a problem for a while now. About a year ago I replaced the intake manifold because the plastic crossover was cracked and replaced it with an updated intake with a metal crossover seemed to fix it but the problem for a while but gradually it started to come back again. The past few days the car starts up with a misfire and puffs thick white smoke from the exhaust and from what I can tell smells like coolant. The misfire and smoke goes away after it runs for a little bit. Today the same thing happened but there was a lot more smoke and the smoke wouldnât stop so I didnât drive it. These were the exact symptoms that led me to replace my intake manifold with the updated one about a year ago and Iâm confused why the problem is back now. I am trying to figure out if it is an intake issue again but I donât see how it could be since I replaced it with one that would prevent that issue or if it is a head gasket issue. Maybe the intake bolts came loose causing it to not seal well anymore? My oil and coolant donât look milky. Any help would be appreciated before I decide to tear it down.

Hello everyone. Iâm considering getting an S550 manual as a daily. I want a fun manual car with 4 seats thatâs relatively good on gas. I currently daily an F150 that I got an offer thatâs too good to pass up on. I also have a few other mustangs including a 65 with a 289, an S197 3v 5spd and a S650 with the 5.0 and the 10 speed. As someone who previously owned RX-7s and Miataâs I kind of wanted something a bit more nimble and have narrowed my search down to an S550 ecoboost or a BRZ86 variant. Can anyone give me any insight on their s550 ownership? I would prefer not to sell any of the other cars because they have sentimental value to me.

I know itâs not gonna be cheap. Motor had 122k on it with cam over retarded bank 1. What does this issue sound like? Fully expecting full rebuild at this point.
