I recently got a 2018 Ford Taurus SEL, and all has been well for the first two months, but for the past two days when I try to play music via Bluetooth or USB nothing happens. Bluetooth will say connected to my device for about 5 seconds and then auto disconnect. Curious if this is a known issue, and what the workaround would be?

Received another "From the Road" Fathom update this morning, celebrating the $28,350 price tag and V2H capacity. Included was a an invitation to receive notification when the pre-order window opens- click through to that, though, and you'll get this message:

"Dealer sets selling price"

After shopping for the Maverick only to discover purchase at anywhere near the promised price was impossible thanks to the parasitic dishonesty of dealerships, I'm a bit pre-soured on the Fathom. I don't get how folks stomach paying for a vehicle that comes with resentment built in. When Ford finally reveals the specs for the Fathom, what would it need to include for you to bend over for a dealership to have their way with your savings?

I have a Ford edge sport 2014 the remote starter , was working before but it stopped working for no reason, I changed the remote battery but nothing worked .

Hi, i have 2006 1.25 ford fiesta mk6. I want to install a cold air intake and sport muffer. I noticed that the original muffler has a downward tip to fit under the bumper. I've heard that the ST150 bumper is a plug-and-play fit and has a cutout for the exhaust.

Are there any plug and play intake kits? I'm not looking for a performance boost, I just want to change the sound of the car

I would also like to install a rear spoiler. Which one will fit the 5-door version

So, my dad and I took our ford up to the ford dealership near us to get it fixed this morning because it was making a rattling and screeching noise. Had two issues according to ford: Worn belt and pulley system + the alternator bearing was getting a little worn. Got the belt and pulley fixed, but was gonna hold off on the alternator because it still was under warranty from another place.

We go out and pick up the car and it was still making that rattling noise. Talked to the repair guy about it and he assured us that it was completely safe to drive

Turns out, it was not safe to drive AND they missed another huge issue with the car: The AC compressor was crapping out. My dad only found out about it because the car was smoking up.

I am having difficulty finding this specific Part for a Ford Expedition 2008 EL Limited. I've looked everywhere, including using AI to attempt to find the part, and I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know what this part is called or where can I find it? It is plastic and rubber. It is specifically the Rear Quarterback Window on the passenger side. It is the power door one that opens.

The Transmission in my mom's 2018 Ford Escape just died and we were quoted $7500 for a replacement. The car has 83k miles on it, so this seems pretty early to have a major repair like this. What are the odds that if I contact Ford customer relationship center, they provide some sort of goodwill contribution?

She leased it at first, then bought after as things were great initially, but around 4 years ago she had a check engine light come on. She paid around 2k for a Ford dealership to diagnose a check engine light issue, and they basically took her money but told her they couldn't figure out the issue. They told her she would have to pay more for further diagnostic testing. That whole issue has left a bad taste in my mouth and I left the Ford hive around that point. Now this transmission issue has me thinking there is a chance that this check engine issue was related to the failing transmission and they failed to identify it. Is there any chance they could be related? I am going to contact the dealership that did the work back when the check engine light issue started and see if I can get a code that was read at this point.

I know it may not be anything crazy, but this is my 2015 Focus SE EcoBoost Package sedan (1.0 turbo 6mt.) I’ve always been a bmw guy, my project is an e92 328i, but this car truly is a wonderful thing and this car has genuinely made me a fan. Hope you guys enjoy looking at it as much as I do 🙂

Originally bought with the chrome appearance package, took off the running boards and paint matched the rest. Got some flood lights installed and I’m about to level her and slap 35s on stocks. In the works of getting a new exhaust, intercooler, and catch can. Not sure what else I want to get done but I’m loving this truck to bits. Got 155k miles on her and still going strong

So try and keep the story brief I have a bit of a project car that I’m working on and acquired a 3.5 L eco-boost
This particular project car is extremely small so the only way that that engine is going to work properly is with a trans axle since the engine is mid mounted

I’ve heard that there are options like from Porsche or possibly a C6 Corvette, but I would love to know any other possible options that people have found or know about

Oh, and very much if possible, a manual transmission not an automatic

I've got a 2019 Galaxy and the check engine light came on.

Took it to a non ford garage and they said it was a cracked DPF and would be under warranty.

The issue is they cleared the light of the dash and in doing so, on taking it to the main Ford dealer for the repair on recall, they won't repair the car as "there's no fault codes in the log/no lights on the dash and we refuse to help"

As we know it's a cracked DPF from the first garage, how long will we need to drive it around before the engine light comes back on? Is there some type of drive I can do to help get the light back on?

Appreciate all the "it could damage the turbo if you use it" and "think of the environment" haters here for not getting it fixed immediately, but spending £2k on a repair that should be free isn't really an option now. I need the light back on so we can get to the Fords garage and get this done on recall.

I’m having a problem on my Ford Focus 2012 mk3 which had halogen lights and i switched to LEDs a year ago. Every 3 months the lights would stop working and I’d fix the problem by deleting the messages on the diagnostics. This time the right side died then the left and now they can’t be fixed by doing that. I’m wondering what could be the issue. My high beam lights work perfectly normal so what could be the cause? Trying to see if I can avoid an Electrician fee if I can fix it myself
