So I’m getting a 2013 dodge charger rt max, and I want to put a cam kit into it, but it’s still going to be my daily driver, I was looking at getting the killer bee cam, but idk if that’s going to be too much for a daily driver, I’m going to be honest, all I’m going for is really the sound, and a little bit for the performance, my budget is around 2-3k total, but probably can go higher, because I don’t really know what a tune will cost, and I will be doing all the work myself,so if anyone else has daily drivers, I would love to hear what cams you are running and what it sounds like,thanks!

So recently in the mornings when I turn the car on the uconnect display doesn’t turn on and I get a warning saying blind spot temporarily unavailable. I figured out that it comes on whenever I’m driving and the temp gauge climbs off the bottom or if I blast both defrost but now the Bluetooth, fm, and am radio just won’t work. The screen is taking my inputs, I can see the song playing but it won’t put out any audio. It also is showing an hour behind and I’m just confused on what the problem even is

My brother is looking at some and I know nothing about them. Trying to get some initial guidance to prevent him buying a piece of junk. Basically the best year for motor and trans and then maybe trim option. Things to look out for.

Somehow fell into a 1k mile AWD the other day. Having the fluids all changed, differentials transmission oil coolant brake fluid etc.

Anything else I should put on the to do list? Must have fixes for anything or something like that?

Hi all, when I’m stepping on the gas I can hear very silent metallic rattling from the left side of the car in low RPMs. What can be the issue? It doesn’t sound like HEMI tick tho.

Ordered some power stops off of American muscle the other week and low and behold the rears fit but the fronts won’t.
Dealership wants 1200$ a pop for the fronts..

I’ve exhausted every resource and for the life of me can’t locate front rotors in stock anywhere.

My last call barely has 17k miles on it, don’t really understand why I need new rotors already anyways.

And no, I don’t drive the dog shit out of my car, I baby it.

Maybe the dealership is full of shit(crazy right) and I don’t need new rotors, but I had them put new brakes on a month ago and I’ve got a awful squeal after pulling off the lot. So they tell me it’s due to bad rotors.

Sup yall, for those who have RWD Charger RT’s and drive in snow, what’s the best winter setup yall running on them? I got a 6th gen charger with Goodyear Eagle Enforcers winter tires on em but what are yall rocking with?

I'm getting my windshield replaced by Safelite on Wednesday and from what I could find, they don't have it as a standard to replace the cowl seal/weatherstrip.

Mine will absolutely need to be replaced, does anyone know if I could order a generic one that'll be good?

Unless I was just looking in the wrong place, I couldn't find a direct replacement so do y'all think I could grab a generic seal strip or get one on time through AutoZone/advance auto to bring to the appointment

And do you think my cowl panel is still good or does that need a swap too. I know there are left and right side panels that should go with it.

I only recently realized the seal was a separate part from the panel, and what's left of mine is so brittle 😅

I was originally contemplating getting a scat once my down payment fund hits 10k, I plan on having a daily driver and a safe casual race toy in one car, but the overall price for a scat vs the overall payment for an RT when they’re both v8s, has anyone here driven both to know if the horsepower difference is worth the price?

Honestly I’m not a fan of carbon fiber or even heavily modded interiors but I really like this yoke steering wheel for my 2013 charger srt8. Thoughts and opinions ?

I’m pretty sure it’s ticking on the passenger side but wanted other opinions. I’m going to be changing the valve cover gaskets and spark plug tube seals regardless so I’ll be finding out soon enough. Just trying to mentally prepare for this especially taking a whole Sunday to change the oil filter housing lol
