📸 Photo I love how often I fall back in love with this car. Taken early this morning.

Hey ladies! I’m hoping to meet more women who are into cars, especially other Mustang owners. If you’re comfortable sharing, how old are you, what general area are you from, and what year and model of Mustang do you drive? I’d love to hear about your cars and connect with fellow car girls!

Random thread but picking the perfect key accessory is something I just love doing. I’m not completely happy with either of the ones I have right now, so I’m here looking for inspiration!

Just got my mustang today and switching between it and my Vette is a huge difference in feel. I believe it has a short throw shifter, but the clutch pedal feels heavier, and the grab point feels a bit smaller than my Vette. Anyway to fix this? Glad to be back in a mustang

Custom exhaust and tuned, need to take a better Pic just got it registered and inspected.
Grandfather already trying to polish it

Hey folks, moved to California from Ireland for work, and It's always been a dream of mine to own a mustang. I have no specific year or style in mind, wouldn't mind a convertible. My budget is around 15-18k max, but to be honest, anything less is welcome too. Is that a reasonable budget, what are some good years for reliability, I have driven old cars all my life so not oppose to older years either? I am not super fussed on power, I just want something that's nice to drive around in and explore more of the US in.

This is DeeDee. She's a 1967 GTA 390 Fastback born on October 26th, 1966, in San Jose, CA. She's older, meaner, and grouchier than I am, and I love that about her.
Happy 60th birthday, DeeDee!

2019 GT350R w/ 4,066 miles
Thank you for the advice and input guys! I guess I'm a Shelby owner now.
To those following my previous post asking why this was listed so low, I ran a third party VIN report in conjunction with my credit unions Carfax report, and both came back squeaky clean and even had regular service reports from this same dealership (where it was bought new).
I'm 100% sure its a real R as well.
Still feeling pretty good. Grand total came out to:
OTD Price - $66,000 + $4,999 3 year bumper to bumper warranty = $70,999.

By day four or five after washing my car, it's already looking dusty again. i had like to keep a quick detailer spray in the garage for a five-minute wipe-down rather than dragging the hose out every time. Nothing fancy, just something that can remove light dust and keep the car looking clean between washes.

y’all, I need some advice.
I have a 2019 Mustang convertible with around 80K miles. It’s my second car, so I barely even drive it. Maybe 1,000 miles a year, if that. It’s mostly just sitting there looking cute until family comes into town or I feel like taking it out.
Anyway, I need to renew my registration, and of course, I gotta get a smog check every year. Only problem is my check engine light is on.
So I took it to Firestone. They fixed what they could, but there were two issues they couldn’t figure out:
* PCM fault
* Cylinder #2 misfire
They told me I’d have to take it to Ford.
Cool. Took it to Ford, paid the $200 diagnostic fee, and these people came back telling me it would cost $4,000 just to tear the engine apart to figure out what’s wrong. Mind you, that’s BEFORE any actual repairs.
Yeah, no. I’m good on that. 😂
So I declined. Then, magically, the next day they called saying they think it’s coolant intrusion and that I might need a cylinder head repair.
Like, okay, so now y’all have an idea of what’s wrong?
Here’s my thing. I’m not trying to get rid of this car. It’s my second vehicle, I barely put miles on it, and I’d honestly like to keep it another 5–8 years. I don’t see the point of trading it in and taking on another car payment when I already have something I like.
I’m guessing the car is worth somewhere around $10K–$13K, so dropping thousands at the dealership just for them to possibly figure it out doesn’t sit right with me.
So I gotta ask y’all:
I’m not against paying to get my car fixed. I just refuse to throw $4K at a dealership for them to start taking stuff apart without even knowing what the final bill is gonna look like.
And I’m definitely not trying to trade in a perfectly good-looking Mustang just because of one check engine light.
What would y’all do? Anybody been through this? I’m just trying to get this thing fixed, pass smog, and keep my car without getting played on the repair costs. 😂
Appreciate any advice!

Not much to say, but for this general range, what would be a good price for a decent to high mileage (120-150k) mile cobra, what repairs or replacements should I look out for, and what is a desirable price point? I’ve seen most dealerships and average prices on marketplace around 12-15k for something like this, but I’m on a little more of a budget and want it for sub 10k. Is this something realistic, and if it’s not what should I expect and prepare for?
And a little side question: what would be the performance difference between a cobra and GT in these years, and would the cobra be preferable on a budget?

Am I the only person that genuinely kind of likes the sn95 interior. I feel like I get a-lot of flack whenever I bring this up but imo if you have a well kept interior they look great.
