Just so you know, PB&J is much better with rice cakes than it does with bread.

Do you like PB&J? Okay, then stop whatever you're doing, go to the closest grocery store, and buy some rice cakes. Also, peanut butter and/or jelly if you don't have it.

Now, make a PB&J rice cake sandwich and be more generous with the peanut butter and jelly than you usually are with bread. You're welcome.

The only time I'll ever have PB&J with bread with again is when I run out of rice cakes or if I feel that I'm developing a problem with the rice cakes version. I've been thinking about it at work and binging as soon as I come home. I went out and bought rice cake at 9:30pm yesterday. That's usually my bedtime.

They're seriously good. PB&J with rice cakes > PB&J with bread and I will die on this hill.

Thoughts & Ideas If You Have to Convince Yourself He Likes You, Read This

Ladies šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

If I have to keep guessing whether you actually want me, I’m probably going to lose interest before anything even starts.

I’m not saying a man has to chase you around the world or beg for your attention. But please, there has to be SOME effort. Some initiative. Some indication that you’re not just passing time with me.

Because why am I catching feelings for someone who’s acting like he’s still deciding whether he even likes me? 😭
At some point, you have to stop making excuses for a man who isn’t showing up the way you want him to.

Friend zone him, sis. šŸ˜‚

But seriously, what’s the difference between a man who’s taking his time and one who’s just keeping you around?

Anybody else have this sickness going around?

So I’ve heard a lot of people are having this weird sickness and nobody knows what it is no test are testing positive for anything. I recently got this I think…My symptoms are moderate headache, fatigue, dizziness, and been having chills and sweating for about 4 days now. Just wondering if anyone else has been feeling this.

Just Chatting Gingers get a name. What do we call everyone else?

My daughter has auburn hair and a couple of redhead friends, and at school they get called gingers constantly. It's all in fun, nobody's being mean about it, and honestly they kind of own it at this point.

So at dinner we got thinking. Gingers have a name. Why doesn't everyone else? It should be like Muggles in Harry Potter, a word for the plain, regular folks.

We came up with ā€œnutmegsā€ and ā€œunspicedā€ but I was thinking that the internet could come up with some fun ones. What’ve you got?

Funny answers only, what's the silliest thing your ex ever did to you?

Got any funny stories? Maybe she thought she was a clever little schemer, and then to her shock, found out she was never actually that clever. Or maybe she denied that fact. Or maybe she just did something goofy or impulsive.

Questions When someone posts about the type of people they are physically attracted to why do people respond with comments like physical appearance doesn’t matter or it’s what’s in the heart that counts?

If they’re talking about physical attraction why not respond with an answer about that? instead I see most people giving lectures about when you’re old that won’t matter or intellect and character are more important and people are not avatars etc, i don’t know if people who give these type of responses are insecure or just addicted to performative righteousness because honestly it’s 2026 and I think the average person is smart enough to know that physically attractive does not equal perfect life partner. why even assume they are looking for someone to settle down with?

Do people not know that women have peach fuzz

I never shave because I dont care.

Men ask me a lot how I look or to send picture, and when I finally decide to its like they get scared or confused.

Going from interested in getting to know you to either blocking and no longer interested.

Women I meet, same thing. People are very picky when looking for ā€œfriendsā€ they have to find you attractive. Up to their beauty standards.

I think im way too nice. And I may look androgynous so that probably plays a part. Could also be hyperpigmentation.

Just Chatting Corporate skyscrapers were built when working in offices was a necessity. Now that technology allows people to work remotely, much of that architecture is no longer needed but we are stuck with the large buildings.

Most skyscrapers were built during the office boom of 1920s-1960s.

Back then hand to hand was extremely important and they actually had so much need for file space. Whole rooms filled with files, suits to go to work everyday.

Now people have zoom meetings in their underwear and a dress shirt.

The days of needing all those buildings are long gone but we are stuck with whole cities unable to tear them down šŸ˜‚

Questions for some reason, it’s really hard for me to show genuine utmost respect.

Don’t get me wrong, I can show respect and do what I’m supposed to do. It just feels wildly misplaced or incorrect to me.

But if someone has given me a genuine reason to admire and respect them, oh boy. I’ll be loyal, I’ll respect them from the bottom of my heart, I’ll do what they ask (within morals and reason).

I don’t know if I know why that comes about. But there is certainly something that comes with people that are ā€œsuperiorā€ to me, respecting me. However, there is something about me finding admiration about things outside of them respecting me (or perhaps that’s not even apparent yet) that gain my respect.

But it doesn’t always mean ā€˜I would stand by them for as long as I live’ kind of thing. Sometimes it’s just a high level of respect and appreciation that pushes me to honor it. I do wish to respect people from the bottom of my heart. But I don’t always feel compelled to, so that makes my actions feel like a lie, therefore uncomfortable. (Little thing about me: I highly dislike lying. I’ve only permitted myself to lie in the case that telling the truth would put others or my life in danger)

Anyone else like this?

Movies & Shows Who would it be scarier for? A yandere or someone who likes planning big pranks, calculated too!

Who would it be scarier for? A yandere or someone who likes planning big pranks, calculated too!, and would Snape be the hardest to hide secrets from?

Y'know, I can't decide in which scenario Hogwarts would be scarier, would it be scarier for someone who likes big calculated pranks or a yandere, either way it's funny to imagine the hypothetical struggles. Like, I mean a prankster who likes pranks more than George and Fred Weasley, I mean big pranks, big calculated pranks like turning the floor Into ice or somethin'. For a yandere? It honestly depends on what she's planning! Just messing with her rival is difficult I think. This is going to be a funny conversation I hope!

Movies & Shows I wish I was into anime

I feel like I'm missing out a lot by not being into anime and manga. I'm not sure why but I just don't enjoy them. Older animes I like, like Eva, Gundam, or Cowboy Bebop, but new ones just don't work for me.

For one, it sucks because when I read the premise or plot they actually intrigue me a lot. But then I go watch them and I just don't find them fun.

But the main reason for feeling like I'm missing out is because I'm actually missing out on a lot of very accessible merchandise and communities. There are anime or cosplay events everywhere, anime plushies and keychains on people's bags, various pop up stores, and all my friends are into them. So it's not the media per se, but the real life part of it. Especially in Asia.

It's not as easy to find goods of things I like, but if you like anime you can just go to Animate or something and you can find relatively cheap merchs. Whenever I go into these kind of stores I feel kinda sad because it must be so fun for people who like anime to go there.

Losing $1000 on a flight I booked drunk šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

I booked a flight drunk and now I’m regretting it. I can’t refund it and I don’t know what to do. If I go I would be spending an additional $2000-3000 on the trip(this includes accommodation and transport, food, clothes etc.) you recon I go all in and spend the money or just take the $1000 L and save the extra $2-3000 I would be spending on the actual trip. I won’t be broke if I come back but Ive been really wanting to save money. Do I just go because it’s booked or do I take the $1000 lost and take it as a lesson to never do anything impulsive when drunk

Why hasn't a tire jack-type device never been invented for senior falls?

Seniors losing their balance, falling, and unable to get up is not only common, bu a fact of life especially if you have an elderly parent. It's also inadvisable to lift them up for fear of blowing out your back. There actually are devices, but they're usually big, bulky, like the ones found at hospitals. And the smallest ones are actually pretty expensive. I just find it surprising that something small, compact (that you can store in your house) and inexpensive--say under $100--that you can slip under someone and prop them back up has never been invented.

Just Chatting AI art used in food advertisment/menu kills my appetite and makes me nauseous

I just can't withstand how AI generated food images have ruined the eating experience for me. Most of the time it's some ridiculously plasticy food like image with a weird yellow saturated tint.

I miss the old days when the restaurant used to show the actual food they make.

Thoughts & Ideas Why do American accents have such a good reputation while British accents have such a bad reputation?

Around the world people learn American English and want to sound American. American accents get you a leg up everywhere.

On the other hand British accents get the opposite treatment and put you at a major disadvantage.

Why is this?

Thoughts & Ideas Anyone else tired of superficial conversations?

I’m so tired of everything feeling surface-level. It seems like nobody wants to actually talk anymore. I want to discuss interesting ideas, question things, challenge perspectives, and hear what people genuinely think without worrying about being judged.

Why does everyone seem so concerned with fitting in and being socially acceptable? Where’s the curiosity, the weirdness, the unapologetic individuality?

I don’t want to talk about the weather or exchange the same predictable small talk every day. I want conversations that make me think, challenge what I believe, or send me down a rabbit hole I never expected.

Does anyone else feel like genuine, meaningful conversation is becoming increasingly rare? I’d love to hear what’s actually going on inside your head, not just the usual small talk.

Questions Am I the only one who's primarily attracted to curvy women that seems to care less about curves the taller a woman is?

Above 5'9 it's like curves hardly even matter anymore. Could it be that I'm attracted to size more than shape? Normally when asked what kind of women I find attractive (visually) I would simply say wide hips big butt and that would be it.

Life Stories A guy claimed I stole her friend (girl) to be my lover

• Upvotes

I entered a new space to learn a skill and I met a beautiful girl in the same space, after 3 weeks I decided to make my move and to my surprise I did not struggle. She was in it too, so from them we were a "thing". Now the guy friend to the girl used to sit together, all day making jokes to her .He would take her home, buy her lunch and good thing but did make any move or give any hints that He wanted a connection with her. After some time He confess he liked the girl and that I snatched her away from him.I merely listened because If you want something you have to go for it and thats what I did
