How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie.

Either is fine.

for a second I thought you meant either friends or influence was fine.

I do also recommend the book. People assume it will be about being a con man or salesman, but it is not. Great advice in it.

Reading physical books or e-books is a matter of personal preference. Some people prefer physical books. Some people prefer e-books. People who cross over from one book format to another may find the newer book format a hassle to work with, or they may look back and say that they like their current book format. It all depends.

Listening to audiobooks is another option.

I personally prefer e-books because e-books are easier to annotate in while physical books may require writing in the margins, adding sticky notes, and taking notes on the side.

Man's search for meaning by Viktor Frankl, and better one is simply whichever gets you to read more consistently.

I prefer physical books but ebooks can be cheaper and easier to manage if I can’t find the book I want at the library. Also r/suggestmeabook is a good place to get book recommendations going forward

I prefer the physical book format, but not by enough a degree to choose it over my ereader because my ereader allows me to easily make and erase annotations, highlight, look up definitions quickly and I can hold hundreds of book in the form factor of like- not even the size of a real novel.

As for reccomendations i am almost finished with the realm of the elderlings series and its pretty great. Epic fantasy with a strong character focus spanning the length of one particular characters lifetime

I still like physical books, but if I am traveling, I like the convenience and less weight of a Kindle.

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. It is a story but the basic idea is how you look at life and dealing with problems.

I use ebooks because I am old and my eyesight is bad and I can make the font on ebooks much larger.

Physical books are nice and so are ebooks. I use either depending on how I’m feeling or the occasion like if I’m going out, I won’t bring a physical book. Currently reading the “Three Body Problem”.
