I have mockups of what it would look like and ideas for mechanics to translate to the 3ds!

I bought it about a week ago secondhand and it dies while closed overnight. Should I replace the battery or let it be?

So i bought this grey 3ds xl (OG)a few weeks ago, and today when i wanted to set the wifi up i seen this so now i don't know what to do bc I don't have money to repaire it... Is it gonna spread?? What should i do?

I was cleaning my naked top 3ds lcd screen and i accidentaly put a fingerprint on it, then i instantly had to grab tap water and microfiber cloth because i didnt have distilled water, and now my 3ds has a noticible moisture, what do i do?

So, i've made a screen replacement recently on my new 3ds xl and turns out that my cam SUPPOSEDLY stopped working. I tested the cam app and the back and front cams shows just a black screen. I opened the 3ds again, re-inserted the flat cable on place and tested again. Same results.

BUT, for my surprise, i tested on face raiders and the back cam seems to work perfectly (??????) it doesn't work anywhere else. (like the cam app or the anemone qr code reader). Front cam Still shows just black tho.

Is it a software issue? what can i do?

i triple checked the flat cable already.

Hi all! i just got a copy of rock band 3 at my local game store. The game stays inserted, but says the game was removed every time it boots up? Everything said it should work fine on a 3ds.. it happens every time. The back of the game looks fine too, and it reads the game. Is there a specific reason its not working? It's a clean copu so i didnt think it needed to be cleaned, especially since they cleaned it at the store. (T_T)

I just received my new 2ds xl, what is the first thing I should be doing? Where should i go to mod it (if that's what i should do), where do i got to download games, etc. Note: This is the first handheld like this i have ever owned

I'm looking to mod my ds dsi and 3ds. I've seen many tutorials but would very appreciate and benefit from anyone's experience with modding. I'm looking to play all pokemon as well as Originals like donkey Kong and pac man.

Any of ur recommendations would be very helpful. Maybe what software you download also how it lasts and runs. I know i could look up tutorials but im just looking to pick some educated ears on real experience with these mods. Thank you for reading.

I feel this sub could really benefit from an faq. i see a lot of the same questions over and over such as "where can i find a new battery?" "what can i do about peeling?" and of course the ever present "is it normal for my screen to wobble?" i just think it could be helpful. maybe do a community poll about what questions are seen the most?

I have received my new 3ds xl from Nintendo as I sent my old new 3ds xl that didn’t turn on. After I received my new one I modded but only after modding it I realised that the top screen isn’t glued on properly.

I don’t have a backup of the Nand files as the guide I was following didn’t mention anything about it.

Is there a way for me to un-mod my system so I can send it back to Nintendo so they can fix or replace?

I fear that they will plug my new 3ds xl into their system which will detect the modded 3ds if I sent it to them without the sd card which is why I want to un-mod it.

Just a few scuffs on the paint, besides this massive chip behind the shoulder button.

The console works fine, hinge is behaving correctly, functionally you wouldn’t be able to tell it took a fall until you looked at the chip.

Should I be concerned over future structural integrity, or debris/dust/moisture getting into this chip?

It’s the older 3DS XL. Came with the charger, weird grip, and 2 games. I want to mod it, as I have a spare 64gb sd card, but there’s a couple issues.

I peeled the god awful stickers and found scuffs, nicks, and signs of obvious use on the original blue shell, both screens are scratched with a particularly bad scratch on the bottom screen that shows when the screen is on. The buttons and analog stick actually feel surprisingly very nice, tight, and clicky. Hinge is also strong too.

I know cost of a full refurbishment is like 175, which I don’t mind paying. Is it worth refurbishing this since it’s in not so nice condition and I already own it for so cheap, or is it worth getting rid of for a New 3DS XL, even though it’s not in super nice condition?

How can i Fix this?

Recently finished designing and 3D printing this cool Pokedex shell and grip for me 3DS. It all just slips snuggly over the Old 3DS XL with no modifications. I did omit the stylus access though because I don't personally use the built-in storage slot.

Does anyone know why my 3ds xl says the battery is full/done charging, but when unplugging it clearly says it isn't fully charged?

I noticed tiny little black lines on the bottom of the top screen of my DS, and I turned on my DS today and suddenly there's a long black line right down the centre. Is there any way to fix this?

I recently found a pristine Hyrule edition New 3DS LL for $360. It came with a Hori carrying case and I bought a TNP clear case for it. I hear the clear case can cause problems but I want to know the best way to keep it from getting any scratches or paint peel and general wear and tear. Should I get a skin for it before inserting it into the clear case? If so which one should I go for?

its not in sleep mode, f1 and f2 fuses have been replaced and it wont work with a different 2ds battery. any suggestions?
