I feel like I’m constantly wiping my surfaces down. These spots more specifically. The larger “rock” you see is my cat’s litter from her paws. Could these be mites coming off of her and not a pest control issue? The spots aren’t moving so that’s why I think it could be poop. I live in an apartment. The tiny, almost microscopic spots are curly. My cat sits on these surfaces often. From USA

Hi guys, just wanting to know what this is on my basil? Friend or foe?

This happened in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. I have not given my dog one of these treats in a couple weeks. I'm hoping I would have noticed the webs or larvae before reaching in and feeding him one.

Spotted this on my husband's neck earlier. He sometimes gets skin tags around his collar/shirt seams; these can get irritated, turn a dark red/black color, and come off sometimes so I thought it was that again but since we had been at a park earlier, I wanted to double check it.

I pulled with tweezers (in case it was a tick) and I'm not entirely sure it's a bug because it's mostly smooth margined all around? What looks like they would be legs is only on the one side.

Neither of us have any experiences with ticks so if anyone familiar can let us know, we'd appreciate it! Whatever that is has been put in a ziplock bag just in case, the area has been cleaned, and we'll be keeping an eye on how the area looks/how he feels.

Kinda looks like fruit fly but they mainly crawl. Found 4 crawling around, they like to crawl around the soil mix area.

I found this larva on my BED tonight. I’m so grossed out and need help identifying it. I did put an Amazon package on my bed earlier in the day near to where I found out. When investigating the spot in my room where the package was sitting I found this unidentified black object which I don’t know if belongs to part of a bug, a piece of plastic, or is part of a car nail. The bed has now been stripped and the package thrown away outside. Please if anyone can help me identify anything to give me some peace of mind. Praying that it’s not anything that will lead to an infestation.

There’s like a bunch of babies in my campus rn- they have like webs?? Silk??? They sometimes hang off of or something?? And they’re literally everywhere- had to move them in higher places so they don’t get squished 🥹
