I found this weird tiny thing on the floor of my parents house in DFW

Carpet beetle larvae! Some people are sensitive to its hairs, so be careful handling them

just a carpet beetle vibing. They’re mild pests — can eat fabrics and textiles — but not at all serious. Vacuum a bit more frequently if you see them, but mostly the only inconvenience is seeing them. Some folks are sensitive to their fuzziness, so if your hand gets a bit itchy that’s why.
