Can we all collectively agree to quit stopping 3 car lengths away at a red light and then inching forward the entire light cycle? Pls my brakes are crying. Let's stop where we want to stop pls :)

I understand sometimes that's not always possible, but it's happening every single day at every single light and it's really frustrating

Could you please explain what's going on with the Bridgeport parking lot? I tried to park there today around 11AM and it was completely full. No single free spot (except for restaurant customers and no parking/reserved slots)! I spent there some time, driving around and waiting for someone to leave. But it's not like a mall parking with people coming and leaving. No one gets back to their cars and leaves. Is it always like this on working days?

As I parked between 2 cars in front of work, a guy standing next to the car I parked in front of, asked me: "are you gonna park here?" "Yeah!"

"You can't park here, there's no space!"

"What do you mean there's no space?"

"My girlfriend is leaving in 10 minutes, how is she gonna get out?"

"This isn't enough space for her? She can just back out and get out, she will do that in 1 go".

To which he insisted there wasn't enough space, and I asked him how much space does she need???

After some back and forth, they eventually left, telling me to fuck off...

Personally I think if this isn't enough space for his girlfriend, she has bigger problems than this one!

I have called a few companies and wondering if anybody has any good advice/experience, tips on staying away from a company, or recommend a good one for me?

Edited to add: the $2K budget is from the claims department of the company who damaged it, not my own pocket! Im looking for a handyman or a flooring company to estimate/quote for me so i can compare it to DIY-ing it . Thank you to all the helpful users who included step by step guides for me to do it myself ♡ i really appreciate it

Hi fellow Richmondites! My usual dentist recently doubled the price of my bi-annual tooth whitening to nearly $600 all in. Wondering if anyone had any local-ish recommendations for somewhere decent and a bit easier on the wallet...?

Please don't suggest OTC whitestrips - they're pricey for the whitening power and have given me a bad reaction in past.
