I’m 17 and am offering years clean ups in the entirety of Richmond.
Mostly taking up leaves and cleaning up weeds.
I’ll bring the bags and the gear, leave the cleaned up stuff next to ur green bin of in it.
Prices no more than 50-60 bucks for a HUGE yard.
I’m doing this because I need to buy bikes for me and my freind to get to school since we live far away.
LMK if ur interested

Could you please explain what's going on with the Bridgeport parking lot? I tried to park there today around 11AM and it was completely full. No single free spot (except for restaurant customers and no parking/reserved slots)! I spent there some time, driving around and waiting for someone to leave. But it's not like a mall parking with people coming and leaving. No one gets back to their cars and leaves. Is it always like this on working days?

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for recommendations on where to take my niece for a haircut without breaking the bank.
I'd love to find a place that is:
Do you have any favorite local spots, specific stylists, or neighborhood salons/barbershops you recommend? Are chain spots like Great Clips worth it, or do you prefer a local neighborhood salon?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hi Richmond neighbours,
Does anybody know any good flooring professionals/companies that can fix this small flooring damage in Richmond BC? $2K budget.
I have called a few companies and wondering if anybody has any good advice/experience, tips on staying away from a company, or recommend a good one for me?
Thank you in advance.
Edited to add: the $2K budget is from the claims department of the company who damaged it, not my own pocket! Im looking for a handyman or a flooring company to estimate/quote for me so i can compare it to DIY-ing it . Thank you to all the helpful users who included step by step guides for me to do it myself ♡ i really appreciate it

Are there any hidden gems or any go-to places in Richmond where you can spend an entire afternoon? I want to take a break from work due to stress and looking for ideas.
Any activity will do. Thanks.

I’ve been at home and awake the whole time working but my power is still on. My family says their power was also on. We all live near the centre of the affected area so i’m just curious if anyone did have theirs cut.

Just before 7pm looking east from Railway and Steveston Hwy area I’m hearing what sounds like fireworks but they’re going off in consistently timed bursts. Almost like a shotgun but too frequent to be that.

If my street address is not listed. Does that mean I won’t have a power outage? For example. Westminster highway is on there which is my backlane but my mailing address is on Lynas.

I'm on the market for an affordable (under 5k?) old car (preferably Toyota) that can be as old as 2000, where would be the best place to find a car like this? I've been looking on FB marketplace but I never know if I can trust it, so any help would be appreciated!

Does anyone know if the BC Hydro planned outage impacts customers past No 2 and Granville (ie. Blundell, Francis, Steveston Hwy)?

The politics of bridge vs tunnel aside, it is in the public's best interest that this crossing be build ASAP. And, at as low of cost as possible. Even if the bridge was expected to be cheaper, now that some work has already been done, and contracts signed, BC cons should evaluate whether doing a U-turn is still the smarter option.
Sincerely,
Someone who's tired of 99 Hwy traffic everyday past 3pm.

A plumber based out of Richmond is paying for 5 star reviews on google maps. I have no experience with this company other than being offered money for a good review (which they did not receive), so I can't say they don't provide good services but do not believe their 5 star reviews.
Mods, I'd be happy to name the plumber, but WELL I fear that sort of post might get removed.

Just moved into a house with a blueberry field behind,
The owner told me,don’t walk too deep into the field, there are coyotes
I hope the coyotes also be told by sb, don’t walk too close to the house, the new guy isn’t easygoing
