[PC] (Web) Waterworld. Dryland is a myth.

Web browser based (on PC) multiplayer game set in a Waterworld.
Sail a rusted out trimaran, scavenge dirt, and harpoon smokers off jet skis and seaplanes.

Game Title: Waterworld

Playable Link: https://waterworld.callista.io

Platform: Web Browser on Desktop PC

Description:
The ice caps melted and dry land is a myth. You sail a lone boat between five ring atolls, fishing floating dirt out of the sea and hauling it to the atoll trading posts for points. The Smokers want you dead: their jet skis hunt you across the open sea and their seaplanes come in low to strafe your deck. Shoot back with the bow harpoon, or press R to man the stern gun, which locks onto anything near the reticle: planes, skis, other players' boats, even the drifters anchored out in the deep. One hit brings a plane down in flames for 40 points. A head-on ram at speed splits a ski in two.

What it is:
Each run you’re born as a random person in a random historical era. You might be a peasant in medieval Europe, a merchant in ancient Rome or a factory worker in the industrial age. Year by year you make choices about family, work, health and risk while history happens around you: wars, plagues, revolutions. Some lives last 80 years, some end at 12. Then you’re reborn somewhere else.

[PC] (Web) I finally built the strategy game I always dreamed of: Flodrikena, free in the browser (desktop + mobile)

Playable Link: https://samanmuradi.itch.io/flodrikena

"Flodrikena is a small grand-strategy game set after the fall of a Bronze Age river empire. You start with forty men, a little gold and no land. So do eleven other houses. Found a village among the ruins, marry, scheme, trade or go to war, and try to take the old capital and the crown."

Every ruler has traits, ambitions and memories of what you did to them, and you can ask anyone "Why?" to see exactly what they weigh before they act. Armies march on the map as the soldiers they're made of, towns grow from huts into walled cities, and battles play out where you can see them.

About me: I'm a web developer with several years of JavaScript and frontend behind me and a strategy game of my own has been a dream since I was a kid. I started it many times and never got far. This time I work document-first: I write the design for each version, decide what goes in and what doesn't, and use Claude to help write and test the code. The map art and the music are generated by code in the browser, not hand-drawn or hand-composed.

It's free, runs in the browser on desktop and phone, and a short tutorial gets you going in a few minutes.

What I'd love to hear: where did you get stuck, or stop playing? Even one sentence helps.

[PC] (Web) I made a physics sandbox where you can build pretty much any vehicle you can imagine

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Game Title: Terrahaul

Playable link: https://terrahaul.certe.fi

I've been working on a game called Terrahaul, a physics-based sandbox where you build your own vehicles and whatever strange mechanical contraptions you can come up with.

The main idea is to build your own machines from scratch. You can combine beams, wheels, motors, axles, springs, hydraulics, and other mechanical parts. Everything is physics-based, so your brilliant designs might work perfectly... or collapse spectacularly.

There's also more to do than just building. You can explore alien planets, collect crystals, and mine minerals using lasers. You can then use the resources you've collected to build even better machines.

The game is still in active development, but I've reached the point where I feel it's ready for people to start playing.

Singleplayer is completely free, runs directly in your browser, and requires no installation. Multiplayer is available to Patreon supporters to help fund development. There are persistent multiplayer planets where you can build and explore with your friends (or steal your neighbor's vehicle if you're not feeling particularly friendly).

How to play:

Once you're in the game, start by following the tutorial.

  1. Move the camera using the middle mouse button. Notice how the building grid rotates to align with your camera view.
  2. Follow the tutorial. It shows you which buttons to press and what parts to place on the grid. You can place beams and axles by dragging on the grid with the left mouse button.
  3. Test your vehicle by clicking the "Test Drive" button. If your vehicle moves or steers in the wrong direction, you can reverse the sliders or motors in the part settings. Just select the part using the "Select" tool.
  4. Explore the planets! Once you've got your vehicle working, try taking it to one of the alien planets. Explore the terrain, collect crystals, and see what challenges you can overcome with your creations!

I'd love to see what kinds of machines people come up with!

Thanks for checking it out!

[PC] (Web) I made a shooter where the upgrades you DON'T pick make your enemies stronger

• Upvotes

Game Title: Neon Rift: Choose One, Fear Two

Playable Link: https://yeahing.itch.io/neon-rift

Platform: Web Browser (HTML5) — Desktop

Description:

Neon Rift is a free sci-fi arena shooter with a roguelite twist: every upgrade you reject makes your enemies stronger.

You control a futuristic mech fighting through 15 increasingly challenging waves of enemies, including boss battles at waves 5, 10, and 15.

After each wave, you're offered three upgrades. You can only choose one. The other two are used to strengthen your enemies, so every decision comes with a consequence.

Combat features automatic shooting, movement, dashing, different upgrades, and powerful synergies. Your goal is to survive all 15 waves while adapting to the enemies you've helped create.

I'm looking for feedback on the difficulty balance, upgrade choices, and overall gameplay experience.

Does the upgrade system make the game more interesting? Are the boss fights challenging but fair?

I'd really appreciate any feedback!

[Mobile] (Android) I made a game for people who want to study Hangul and play games at the same time - Learn Korean: Hangul Puzzle (Android, free levels)

I made this game for people who want to study Hangul (the Korean alphabet) and also just enjoy playing a game.

The letters themselves are the blocks: draw a line from a consonant to a vowel and they join into a real Korean syllable, pop, and you hear how it sounds.

- 6 study units: first letters, syllables, extra strokes (ㄱ → ㅋ), double vowels, final consonants, everyday words

- Voice for every letter, syllable and word, with optional romanization

- Korean Word Sudoku mode and spaced word review

- Levels 1-12 are free, no ads, no account

Honest note: the art was made with GPT image generation plus Blender, and the voice is offline TTS.

Feedback on difficulty and the first 5 minutes is very welcome.

Playable Link: https://alex-zurse.itch.io/memories-last-tape

Platform: PC

Overview of the game:

You are playing as 12-year-old Mike, who lives inside his own memories where everything seems "beautiful" - but with each passing day, his mind is destroying him, refusing to let him live in peace. Uncover the tragedy that befell Mike by talking to his father, as well as to the thoughts and feelings that surround him, and help him forget it. Remember: everything will happen all over again, and you never really had a choice

The game combines a fictional story with personal experiences

I am very interested in hearing your thoughts on the game. It gives me a great deal of motivation to work

Overview of the game:

You play the eldest child and the only one with a job. Each payday you pick what bills get paid, then come home to what you couldn't afford.

Seven of us made it in two weeks of spare time, and it placed #1 in Creativity and #1 in Story out of 40 entries.

Streamers and YouTubers like Patrick Santos and Kristian PH picked it up, pushing videos past 3.9 million views and the itch.io page past 100,000 plays. Game Title: Pao Pao

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3024130/Pao_Pao/

Platform: PC (Windows 10/11), on Steam. Add the PC flair after posting.

Description:
Pao Pao is a cozy co-op restaurant sim and sandbox for 1-4 players, where cats, foxes, raccoons and other furry characters throw down a culinary fest. You run your own restaurant as a fluffy animal chef: fish for fresh ingredients, then cook and serve orders before your hungry customers scatter. Every task has its own mini-game, from cooking to fishing, and they get trickier as you progress. Daytime is a nonstop rush of orders. At night you can explore an open-world city, meet quirky NPCs, take on quests, and prepare for the next day. Expand your restaurant with greenhouses, aquariums and extra space, and customize your chef with animal totems and outfits. You can play solo or online with up to three friends. The game supports 14 languages.

I’d especially love feedback on the first 30 minutes: is the cooking and fishing loop clear and fun, and do the mini-games ramp up too fast?

Trailer Tuesday [TRAILER TUESDAY] - It is NOT a Portal! - it is Rayborne

Game Title: "Rayborne"

Playable Link (Free Demo with 20 levels): https://store.steampowered.com/app/4359960/Rayborne/

Platform: PC

Description: We know - it looks like a Portal but it is not (it only inspired us and everyone after 5 minutes of playing it says: "Ok, it's not portal. But it looks on the first glance like portal". While waiting for a new Portal game, we decided to build our own puzzle game after-hours. Instead of portals, we took only laser mechanics and created portal-like game around that + additional other mechanics like logic gates or more types of barriers. We basically took our favorite elements from Portal and The Talos Principle and combined them together.

Also we have a story, but because of no-budget we decided to tell it with drawings on the walls. On every level we have at least one decal and after combining all of them you can figure out the story. It is little inconvinient (maybe?) but from playtests we know that it is possible and pretty straigh-forward.

So If you enjoyed playing portal or the Talos principle (that inspired us to make this game - check the demo (it should take around 30 minutes to finish it - it depends on how good you are at puzzle games)

Playable Link: https://jotto21.itch.io/scrawlcraft

Platform: browser (pc + mobile (but better work on PC)

Description:

It's a PvP auto-battler where you draw your fighters yourself — mouse, pen or finger. In the age of AI slop, no generator is doing the drawing for you (okay, maybe the creatures look worse that way, but they're yours).

  • Pick one of three lanes and draw a creature.
  • The game recognizes the shape: eight legs → spider, wings and tail → dragon, staff → mage. Unrecognized scribbles become "Mishaps", and they fight too.
  • Press Summon and your drawing runs into battle by itself. Save it in a Q/W/E slot and re-summon it as your ink refills.

Game Title: Kiss or Kill

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4676960/Kiss_or_Kill/

Platform: PC

Description:

A branching romance thriller set inside a deadly holographic dating show. Raise Heartflutter Scores, protect your group, and survive seven days of eliminations.

Kiss or Kill is a branching mystery visual novel set inside a holographic dating show where a low Heartflutter Score can mean execution.

Two hundred contestants are divided into groups of one woman and three men, then forced through a seven-day romance experiment. Every day brings a new challenge, a new score, and a new risk of losing someone.

Doki, the show's adorable retro robot host, delivers every judgment with a smile.

Heartflutter Scores are calculated from the contestants' real physiological responses.

Choose one person for a date, and another may be left behind. Raise one score too quickly, and someone else's may fall. Keep your group's emotions in balance—or watch the day's lowest scorers pay the price.

By day, you take part in dates, rehearsals, and staged romance challenges.

By night, you investigate what the cameras are hiding.

After working on it for the last 8 months, I just launched Shikaku by Hilal on the App Store this week. It is a minimalist logic puzzle app I built as a solo developer, and I’d love for you to try it!

There are NO ADS and NO SUBSCRIPTIONS, and you can compete with friends, family, or players around the world through leaderboards. If you give Shikaku a try, I’d love to hear what you enjoy, what feels confusing, and what you’d change!

INFO

  • Shikaku is a logic puzzle with a simple rule: fill the grid with rectangles, each containing exactly one number. That number tells you the size of the rectangle. Fill the grid without gaps or overlaps, and every piece falls into place.
  • Easy to learn and satisfying to solve, Shikaku offers a quick relaxing break with its Puzzle Packs or a challenge you can dive into with its Time Trials.

FIND YOUR FAVORITE MODE

  • Daily Challenges: Take on a new Easy and Hard puzzle every day. Build your streak and compare your times with friends and players around the world.
  • Puzzle Packs: Explore 5000 puzzles across five grid sizes, from 4×4 to 8×8. Start small and work your way up.
  • Time Trials: See how many puzzles you can solve in one, three, or five minutes.
  • Quick Play: Generate a fresh puzzle whenever you want. Choose your grid size and difficulty for a challenge that suits your mood.

PLAY YOUR WAY

  • Drag to draw rectangles, or enable corner tapping to place them with two taps. Use hints when you need a hand, hide timers when you’d rather relax, and enjoy puzzles offline.

MAKE IT YOURS

  • Explore 100 app colors and 100 matching app icons, along with textures that give Shikaku a different feel. From soft and understated to bright and colorful, find a combination you love.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS

Daily Challenges and hundreds of puzzles are free to enjoy. Shikaku Pro unlocks the full experience with a single, one-time purchase. No recurring charges, no coins to buy, and no ads to watch for another turn.

Game Title: Unread Cases 019 — The Door Below the Waterline

Playable Link: https://019.unreadcases.workers.dev/

Platform: Web browser (desktop and mobile)

Description:
Marlowe Baths is reopening after twenty years. Its restoration engineer is found dead in a records annex, and the passage leading to her is flooded. Five people were seen at their assigned posts at 21:03 and again at 21:13. The investigation turns on what they could have done between those checks.

You explore three illustrated locations, read eighteen exhibits and question five suspects. There are three connected deductions: reconstruct the water cycle, test a complete journey on an interactive route map and recover a damaged duty roster. You need to account for the return trip as well as the arrival.

The game has English and Chinese text, optional hints, background music and browser saves. There’s no countdown, download or sign-up. I’m especially interested in whether the route puzzle feels fair and whether the bathhouse setting feels more like a place to investigate. Please hide solution details behind spoiler tags.
