[PC] (Windows) I made my first game and I need some honest feedback

Game Title: Demon March

Playable Link:

https://syncope-studio.itch.io/demon-march

Platform: Windows / PC

Description:

Demon March is a roguelite deckbuilder where you build an army of demons and invade human kingdoms. You grow your horde by choosing cards, adding new creatures and finding synergies between them.

Combat is mostly automatic, so the main part of the game is deciding how to build your army and which upgrades work best together. As you progress, the kingdoms become stronger and you have to keep adapting your build.

There are also hidden interactions between different cards and creatures that can completely change how your army works.

This is my first game and it’s still in development. I just released the demo on itch.io and I’m mainly looking for people to play it and tell me if it’s actually fun. Any honest feedback about the gameplay, balance, UI or anything else would really help me.

Playable Link: https://hatchedapp.xyz

Platform: PC (Web) — playable in your browser, no download

Description: Play it free in your browser: https://hatchedapp.xyz

Hatched is a living city that runs in your browser. You hatch a citizen — a person you actually control — and live their life: get a job, earn money, buy a home and a car, run businesses, fish at the marina, race at the Palmera Speedway, and drop into Drop Zone, the arena mode with a battleship map. An optional AI brain can keep your citizen's life going while you're away, only if you switch it on.

It's live and free, ~130 citizens in the city so far. Feedback very welcome — there's an in-game feedback box too, and I read everything.

[PC] (Web) You can’t beat the Troll in my hard-but-fair tactics game.

Playable link : https://aven555.itch.io/thousandfold

The challenge: reach the Troll at the end of the run and kill him on NORMAL (permadeath on). The first 5 to post their kill go on the leaderboard below, and every Troll killer gets a Troll Slayer role on the game’s Discord. The Discord is brand new, so you’d be among its first members.

The game: I’m the solo dev on Thousandfold, a turn-based tactics roguelite : Final Fantasy Tactics meets Into the Breach.

  • Three heroes, and each can take any of six jobs (Warrior, Defender, Archer, Mage, Priest, Thief). Skills carry over when you change job.
  • Enemies show their next move before they make it, and reinforcements are announced two turns ahead. When someone dies, the plan failed, not the dice.
  • Facing, zone of control and terrain decide fights: hit from behind, block the path to your casters, push a goblin into the river.
  • Five hand-built stages, and the last one is the Troll. He regenerates, he comes straight for you, and his slam wipes careless parties (that’s the clip).

The demo takes about 30 mins,
Discord: https://discord.gg/VGnfSGa7hM

Tell me where you failed. But most of all, if you killed him, tell me which party you did it with, and post the screenshot.

[PC] (Windows) Game Title: Fully Funded – (20 Steam keys for commenters) [TRAILER TUESDAY]

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5316360/

Platform: PC (Windows) and Mac

Description: Fully Funded is a first-person co-op game about the most stressful thing in futures trading: the prop firm evaluation. You and up to three friends trade a simulated market on ONE shared account, under the same kinds of rules real evaluations use: a daily loss limit, a trailing drawdown, profit targets and a consistency rule. Every trade lands on the same balance, so when your friend goes short while you're long, you all feel it, and since the office is a physics sandbox, you can settle it in person. Charts have candles, indicators, drawing tools and real order types. Five accounts take you from a garage to a trading floor, a glass tower and a yacht off Miami, and passing all five unlocks an endless live account with no rules. No real money involved, it's just a game.

Giveaway: comment below (feedback, questions, your worst trade, anything) and in 48 hours I'll DM a Steam key to 20 random commenters. One per person.

Free to Play Status: - [X] Demo/Key available - [X] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: I'm the developer (PTL Studios). I designed and built the game (first one) and I'm reading every comment/feedback.

[PC] (Windows) Goliath Rogue - survivors-like with ARPG loot, a town and crafting

Game Title: Goliath Rogue

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5180840/Goliath_Rogue/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=evergreen&utm_medium=social&utm_content=playmygame

Platform: Windows, Linux, Steam Deck

Description: I always wondered how ARPG loot would feel inside a survivors-like, so I spent about a year of evenings building one to find out. Every skill casts itself, so a run is about where you stand and what you pick on level up. What carries between runs is the gear. It rolls two prefixes and two suffixes, has typed damage and resists, and its item level scales with the floor it dropped on. There is a town you rebuild, crafting, a talent web per skill, and attributes to spend. Thirteen heroes, ten biomes, forty floors, two megabosses. Materials drop into your Steam inventory and are marketable, so you can sell them on the Steam Market. It is in Early Access and I am shaping it on the feedback I get, which is why I am here. What I would most like to know is whether the opening works: the loot is the reason the game exists and the first drop does not land until floor two or three, so I suspect most people quit before they ever see one.

[PC] (Web) Aliʻi: Rise of a Chief – a turn-based strategy game set in old Hawaiʻi (browser, free, looking for honest feedback)

Processing img qzi3z3rpi4yh1...

Youtube trailer video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Dz1v_-ICTwQ

Game Title: Aliʻi: Rise of a Chief

Playable Link: https://leftymacciano.itch.io/alii

Platform: Web browser (works on phone and desktop). Android and iPhone versions are in closed testing.

Description:

You are a young aliʻi (chief) who rules a single district on Hawaiʻi Island, with a few thousand people and neighbors watching you. A reign lasts twenty years, played out season by season. You put people to work in the loʻi kalo and on the reef, build homes, heiau, and walls, conduct research, and train warriors. With the chiefs around you, you can befriend, bargain, or threaten: gifts and trade, peace pacts that cost you envoys, alliances and marriages, or a host marching on their land. Lose your home, and your chief flees to a puʻuhonua (place of refuge) with eight seasons to take it back.

There are three ages to play: ʻUmi's rise around 1500, the age of chiefs in 1620, and Kamehameha's wars from 1782. Each has goals drawn from the histories. At the end of the reign, the chronicle closes with your score, a medal, and a chant made from what you actually did. It saves on your device, so you can stop and come back.

What I'd love: play one 20-year reign, then tap "Tell the chronicler" at the end (three quick questions: where you got bored, what confused you, would you play again). Brutal honesty welcome.

Free to Play Status:

* [x] Free to play

* [ ] Demo/Key available

* [ ] Paid

Involvement: I'm a solo developer. I designed the game and directed everything; the code, paintings and sounds were made with AI tools, which I guide, test and fix. The history is checked against published sources, and I'm hoping to have it reviewed by a kumu (Hawaiian cultural teacher) before a full release.

Game Title: Block Universe: Adventure RPG

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stpygames.blockuniverse.idle

Platform: Android (Google Play)

Description:

Block Universe is a mobile adventure RPG inspired by My Little Universe, featuring voxel-style visuals and combat inspired by XP Hero. Explore different biomes, gather resources, craft equipment, unlock new areas, and fight various monsters and bosses as you progress through the world.

The game features multiple environments to discover, resource gathering, crafting, equipment progression, quests, and increasingly challenging enemies. There are several gameplay systems to explore, and I'm continuously working on improving the experience.

My main goal with this playtest is to get honest feedback on the onboarding experience, especially the first 10 minutes. My user acquisition tests suggest that only around 33% of players complete the onboarding, but players who get past it tend to stay engaged and show promising retention.

I'd particularly appreciate feedback on what feels confusing, slow, boring, or frustrating during the beginning of the game. Please feel free to be critical!

Year by year you make choices about family, work, health and risk while history happens around you: wars, plagues, revolutions. Some lives last 80 years, some end at 12. Game Title: Ball-Aqua

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5011940/BallAqua_Demo/

Platform: PC (Windows, Steam)

Description:

Ball-Aqua is a colorful 3D physics platformer where you roll a ball through glossy, water-filled worlds: sandy island paths, thin rails tracks over the ocean, half-pipes on cliff faces, and glass you can smash straight through. Floating whales, bubbles, and rainbow trails fill the sky.

You can play solo or online with friends. Freeroam mode. Or optional Race mode - works like a party game: before each round, every player picks an item and places, rotates, and scales it anywhere on the level, so obstacles pile up round after round, and whoever finishes first most often after 5 rounds wins. There's also King of the Hill and Golf.

You can build your own courses in the level editor and import custom ball skins. It supports keyboard, mouse, and controller with full rebinding, plus 31 interface languages.

Platform: Web — PC and mobile. Use landscape mode on mobile.
I've been making Legendfall on my own for a little over seven months. You build an army, place your troops and defenses on a hex board, then watch them fight automatically. Between battles, you can upgrade your units and take more territory, with the aim of destroying the enemy fortress. There are different legends, soldiers, buildings and spells to combine, so positioning and which units you put together matter a lot. I'd really like to hear how it feels to someone playing for the first time. Did you understand what to do? Were the fights enjoyable? I'm honestly unsure whether to keep working on it, so hearing what you liked or what put you off would help me a lot.

[PC] (Web) I made a scratch-off ticket game about paying off gambling debt with more gambling. Looking for playtesters

Game Title: One More Ticket

Playable Link: One More Ticket by Willdabosses

Platform: PC (Web)

Description:

Hey all. This is my first game. You owe money to a guy named Vinnie. Your plan to pay him back: collect cans, cash them in, and blow it all on scratchers at the Quik Stop.

You start out digging through the recycling behind the store for a few bucks at a time. Win enough and things open up: upgrades, the Wheel of (Miss)Fortune, hired help, a truck stop, and eventually Vegas. Every win gets you closer to paying off your debt, and every loss digs you deeper.

Friends who tested it keep telling me "this is dumb, but I played it for way too long," so I want to hear from people who don't know me. A full run is about an hour to an hour and a half, and there's a New Game+ and prestige system to keep it going after that. Trailer is in the comets.

I'd really like to hear:

- When you got bored, if you did

- Anything that felt unfair or confusing

- Whether you wanted to keep going after you beat Vinnie

Any feedback helps, harsh is fine. There's a Google Form on the itch page for feedback. I'm planning a Steam release this winter.

Free to Play Status:

- [x] Free to play

Involvement: Solo dev. I came up with the idea, designed and balanced it, and did all the playtesting. I built it with help from AI for the code.

[PC] (Web) I finally built the strategy game I always dreamed of: Flodrikena, free in the browser (desktop + mobile)

Playable Link: https://samanmuradi.itch.io/flodrikena

"Flodrikena is a small grand-strategy game set after the fall of a Bronze Age river empire. You start with forty men, a little gold and no land. So do eleven other houses. Found a village among the ruins, marry, scheme, trade or go to war, and try to take the old capital and the crown."

Every ruler has traits, ambitions and memories of what you did to them, and you can ask anyone "Why?" to see exactly what they weigh before they act. Armies march on the map as the soldiers they're made of, towns grow from huts into walled cities, and battles play out where you can see them.

About me: I'm a web developer with several years of JavaScript and frontend behind me and a strategy game of my own has been a dream since I was a kid. I started it many times and never got far. This time I work document-first: I write the design for each version, decide what goes in and what doesn't, and use Claude to help write and test the code. The map art and the music are generated by code in the browser, not hand-drawn or hand-composed.

It's free, runs in the browser on desktop and phone, and a short tutorial gets you going in a few minutes.

What I'd love to hear: where did you get stuck, or stop playing? Even one sentence helps.

[Mobile] (iOS) TamagoFit: walk to hatch an egg, then raise your monster on its own island (free, iOS)

Game Title: TamagoFit: Walk & Hatch

Playable Link: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6758913871

Platform: iOS (iPhone)

Description: TamagoFit is a cozy virtual pet game powered by your real steps. It reads your step count from Apple Health, and every walk counts: after 10,000 steps your egg hatches and a little 3D monster comes out. From there you raise it on its own floating island. The coins you earn by walking buy its food, you put it to bed at night, clean up after it and watch it grow as you keep walking. You can decorate the island with themes like Sakura or Tropical, train your monster in a small real-time arena, fill a Tamagodex as you discover new monsters and add friends with a code to cheer each other on. If you forget it and it dies, walking brings it back for free. There are no ads and no subscription; optional purchases exist, but everything can be earned by walking. I'd love feedback on the egg phase: is it motivating enough, or does it feel too long?

Free to Play Status: [x] Free to play

Involvement: I'm the solo developer: code, game design and animation. The ideas, the world and the monster designs are mine, and I use AI tools for parts of the 3D modelling, sound and code.

[Mobile] (Android) ADM-0

Thumbnail

I created a puzzle game in which the answers are by no means always stored within the app (Android, free demo version)

ADM-0

Playable Link: GOOGLE PLAY

I'm an independent developer. ADM-0 is a puzzle game for Android that looks like an old terminal: black screen, amber text, blinking cursor, no tutorials.

In each case, you get several files. A text file, a photo, an audio clip, sometimes a corrupted dump that you need to read using a command. There are no answers in the game, so you open a browser and look it up yourself. Some cases are purely detective work, some are more technical (compare two copies of a document, check what was edited). In one case, you need a real email. Any temporary email will do, it’s just part of the puzzle mechanics.

The demo contains the first five cases, English only, about [40] minutes. [Link on Google Play]

What worries me the most is the first case. Is it understandable without explanations, or do you get lost?

Game Title: Gopher It: Office Intern Simulator

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5398160/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=demo

Platform: Windows (Steam)

Description:

You're the new intern in a small office. Coworkers need you for very important things, like making them a coffee or some copies, shredding those copies just after, or passing messages and parcels around, that kind of stuff.

No time pressure, the game waits for you; if you mess up, like spilling a coffee, it just turns into a small cleanup job.

You can play solo or online with up to 3 friends through steam, everyone works in the same office on the same day and shares tasks.

The demo is the first 3 days. Would love to know what feels good and what's confusing, especially in co-op.

Free to Play Status: Demo

Involvement: solo dev. Some of the art, the translations and the code were made with the help of generative AI tools.
