So I'm just getting started and wanted to have a Vermintide 2 setup with the minis. I've seen older posts from the skaven subreddit but I am curious if anyone has seen anything new.

Im having a difficult time coming up with concept art (we will focus on the gutter runners) to help me with painting.

I am struggling to also find Vermintide heroes to paint however. I'm brand new to this whole thing so any help is appreciated and of course recommendations as well.

I have nearly every skaven mini and I'm ready to start painting!

I mistakenly didn't apply the photo to my original post on skaven so here is my rough draft. Im trying to replicate the skaven from Vermintide 2 and ideally locate and find heroes to paint as well. Goal is to recreate scenes from the game but in this format!

Finished these guys from the Leviathan box, great minis. Did some experimenting , and probably took too long with them, to the point where I got a bit sick of them ha (some of the time was waiting for deliveries). Used some custom decals, on the knee and tilt shield. But I ended up painting over the one on the shield, as it looked too much 'like a decal'. Also experimented with printing my own transfers for the tiny writing on the two name scrolls, with mixed success. Finally, although I think these photos make the red armour look better, the recipe I used this time wasnt as satisfactory as previous. I need to go back to simple days. Overal I enjoyed working on them

I pulled out my modeling box recently as I get started with another hobby (miniature painting) and realized all the tamiya paints from my gunpla days were in there. They've been sitting untouched in closet for around 7-8 years give or take a few moves. I opened them up and they look pretty separated-wondering if it's possible to make them usable but thought I'd ask before I try anything.

Trying out these new GW pro tone paints, for someone who’s fairly new to the hobby, they are better than gw normal paints. Hows this for skin? Should i glaze the layers? Also how the heck can i get good pics for my minis these look way better in person than in camera and i feel like im making it worse to get good criticism when posting😭

I bought a can of black primer for my 40k Orks, but I’m unsure if the coat will last until I can afford the paints I want.

This is my Thanquol on Boneripper! I am very proud of this paint job but something is… missing. He’s missing a certain sauce. I can’t tell what is wrong about this composition but it is bothering me. Thanquol himself also doesn’t mesh well with the model. It’s definitely something to do with his color scheme. Any ideas?

I've been checking out some color wheel apps and then found that some even have ways you can store lists of your paints and paint comparison charts.

Curious if anyone has some favorites they'd like to share?

Fun little project for a small painting contest. Had a great time painting and sculpting these two minis and I hope you guys like it as much as I do! So happy with the end result!

As per the title, does the coat look yellow? My friends and mutuals say it's more green than yellow.

I based the scheme off of a video by Vince Venturella called "10 Tips for Speed Painting Complex Minis".

I'm thinking the solution is to base the coat brown isntead of black before jumping in with a few shades of yellow?

Hi, i'm a bit stuck on how could i improve the details on my minipaintings, im not sure, but it feels like, the smaller brush does not bring significantly better results. How much does the paint quality matter in this perspective?

Any help is appreciated!

(I paint mostly standard (40-50 mm) board game figures, so it partly maybe the fact the model itself is not too detailed)
