Hey everyone I bought these models like I think 10 years ago and was wondering how reselling works and what they'd be valued at. I currently play Shasvasti and Tunguska so I'm still very invested in the setting just not so much with Ariadna aestheticly as I was in College.

I see so many amazing paint jobs on here every day with the smoothest blends ever. What are the most popular techniques for this style? Is it a lot of airbrushing or are there a lot of people out there with amazing glazing skills?

I've been playing Infinity since 1 month before the release of N5. I've mainly played Yu Jing White Banner and Vanilla YJ.

I picked up Mazebreaker and I'm eager to dive into a new faction and sectorial and I'd love to get advice from veteran Aleph players and specifically ones who've played OOS for a bit to let me know what I should be looking for to maximize the factions strengths.

When it comes to standout pieces right now I think the Asuras and Marut look great but soo expensive and Im not quite sure what fireteams I should be running. The netrods are a big help to keep the points down but I dont want to hinge my game on one uber piece that if it goes down my game is over.

Stumbled upon an old Combined Army starter a couple days ago and decided to try painting them up a bit.
I followed "Angel GiraldeZ Masterclass vol 2" as closly as possible but had to improvise since I didn't own a single color mentioned in there.
Also while painting I realized the armor piece in front of the neck was missing in my package but I somehow dig the "fit" look of my Umbra.

I recently got a bits back from eBay that came with a set of some complete infinity minis but I don't know anything about the game and so I was wondering if this is actually worth keeping to try and expand into playing or if I should just keep them as painting projects or maybe use for bits. I don't want to have to spend another $100 or so dollars to try and make a playable force.

I can simply not get my head around army building for infinity.

Have been looking at getting into it for a long time, recently been falling out of love with kill team. I’ve also noticed that the more infantile anime art direction has been toned down, especially in the mini designs. This was the main component that put me off several years ago, so looks promising.

Alright so I get rules, the army builder and start thinking about purchases.

Think about a very cosmonaut themed kosmoflot army, so I start with some bears, support units and infantry squads. I check what I would need to buy to achieve my planned list…. And in essence I can’t. Multiple units in various infantry squads (kosmosoldats, rokots, volkolaks) are simply not available in the infinity store or are only available as part of other packs, basically making me buy various other units I don’t want.

Alright, perhaps the problem is kosmoflot. So I pivot to a PanO military order list, heavily knight themed… and in essence same story again.

It’s beyond opaque to start from scratch with a new army. I understand various units are leftovers from previous versions of the game, but it’s maddening trying to piece together what is (A) a legal list and (B) actually available to buy.

Or am I just doing it wrong?

How aren't these guys destroyed by Disney/Marvel at this point, what the hell.

Got myself the new ninjas and finished the sniper one today. (Also checked the pictures and corrected the highlight above the knee)

As previously ask for, here is the colors guide I've been using for this CA scheme.

Stonewall Grey for basecoat.
Elf Flesh as a mid tone. I make a sketch and the blend mixing it a little with Stonewall Grey.
Off-White for the highlights. Just on a smaller area, also edge highlights.
Khaki just for glazing on the shadows, barely noticeable.

I think i should have use Bone White or Khaki as a base color instead of the Stonewall Grey; and a purple like Hexed Lichen to glaze the shadows. But i was already half army when it just came to my mind and i didn't want to change the scheme.

I forgot to take pictures for the purple, but the process is the same using: Deep Magenta, Warlord Purple and Squid Pink.

I already take other pics for the black/grey armor process i'll share in a day or two.

Next up its Next Wave vs Steel Phalanx on Critical Intervention (ITS17, 18 on the way!)

I have recently got intrested in Infinity and Steel Phalanx are mos interesing to me right now.

It looks like this action pack would be cool start but on official store it is marked as discontinued.

So my question is what are best way to aqquire Thorakitai now? That one Myrmidon doesn't seem to be available in any other pack too.
