I bought my mom her first iPad and would love some recommendations.

She likes simple games, cooking, animals, photos, and watching videos. What are some easy and relaxing apps or games I can download for her?

The frustrating part is that Apple upgraded almost everything else, but left out one feature that makes a huge difference in everyday smoothness. And also Touch ID🫩.

So I sold my iPad Pro M1 on eBay and I quickly went into the settings and hit the erase all content and settings and it started doing its thing while I cleaned the screen and got the packing read… I was in a hurry and I don’t think I ever saw it complete and I just realized it’s still in my “find my”now that the post office already has it and it’s off to its new owner. I went in and requested that it erase remotely but it needs to be connected to wifi for that to happen… how can a new owner even connect it to wifi without gaining access. I definitely don’t want to send some stranger my passcode or make it a nightmare for said buyer to setup.

they're like cluster of air bubbles but i dont have any screen protector on right now (removed them 5 minutes ago.) i thought they're only in the screen protector but no, it's lcd. omg help

I was thinking to buy an ipad lately. Probably the basic A16 which is for $650 plus taxes.

Does the price go down or does any retailer offer giftcards during black friday?

I'm not desperate to get one but if the prices won't be going down that much, I'll just buy it right now.

My IPad every once in a while stops responding to scrolling attempts, or “X-ing” out of a page or even shutting down. Anyone else have this issue and if so, is there a known fix. Thanks, LM

Remove the Air name and change the regular iPad to iPad Neo so the mini's place in the lineup makes more sense, because "iPad mini" sounds like a smaller version of the budget iPad whereas it's more like an iPad Air mini currently.

When I updated my iPad mini 7 to iPadOS 27, it took something like 36 hours (plugged in) to index, according to the notification in system settings. I kept my iPad Pro on iPadOS 26 and used the min as a “guinea pig”. Now that 27.2 is out, I updated the Pro M5 and after about 7 hours (plugged in) the notification has disappeared. So I guess it’s done. Power of M5 over A17Pro chip?

Don’t know if this post will get taken down, it keeps getting flagged before I post but I don’t know where else to go. Is this a normal amount of storage for the operating system and system data? It takes roughly 40 GB. I hardly have anything on my iPad, disabled my photos (wiped my iPad and didn’t allow photos to sync with my iCloud so now I have just a few photos on this thing), and have tons of storage on iCloud but I can never update because I only have less than 8 GB available at all times. Does anybody have this problem and hopefully a solution?

I am unable to join the Network Called: “Fritz.” On my IPad. Based on the Setting, it is Temporarily available On My IPad. This an WIFI Network is To Join This Network and I hope Apple will update this Network for future user to Connect it. 

iPad mini finally getting external display support. And I don't care about the lack of 120hz or anything. It's small size, with OLED, with the ability to expand canvas on demand, it's perfect.

But the price is 999 SGD. Ah, blame the RAM prices.

Considering swapping my M1 MacBook for a iPad A16. Would people say it’s worth the switch? I only really use it for browsing/social media/videos. Or should I stick to the MacBook.

The amount of people i'm seeing defending apple for the new ipad mini being 60hz is honestly insane.

You have to remember just how much the ipad mini costs. This isn't a $200 android.

Even if 80% of the people don't care its 60 hz, at this price point it should be a given. Apple is just being cheap/trying to differentiate the pros.

As topic, something I was wondering if you had like an e-book/PDF of crossword puzzles could you use a pencil to fill it out? Do you need a app that specifically allows that can Apple books? Something else not done at all?(Really less crossword just anything with a PDF like that a maze ,scribbles just drawing on it)

Ios 27.2 is out now. I once came across a post about those with lower storage to wait for ios 27, but I'm still a bit skeptical. Has anyone tried it? Is your ipad still up and running?

I am weighing a Kindle purchase for reading, yet I wonder whether an iPad mini might serve as a substitute. My reading centers on novels and practical books, though I may browse magazines and manga at times. If anyone uses the iPad mini as an e-book reader, I would appreciate hearing their impressions.

I currently have an iPad Pro M1 12.9 inch. I am planning on trading it in for another iPad. The mini intrigues me just because of my lifestyle - I do a lot of reading, planning with Apple calendar and writing with my pencil on the go, I also game on my iPad but not super heavily. I see the mini is A17 or A20 - would I be downgrading by a lot? I don’t know what any of this means I just want someone to tell me what to do 😅🤣 maybe just an air? But idk if that’s as portable? Sos.
