#Query ❓ Learning License Test Error: "Fraudulent activity detected" popup. Need help completing test today.

Post image
• Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I applied for a Learner’s License (Motorcycle with Gear) on the official Sarathi Parivahan portal (sarathi.parivahan.gov.in) and paid the ₹200 fee. I am giving the exam from home using their website and exam software.

During the online LL test, the test kept redirecting me back to the main screen even though I was not cheating or switching tabs. After 2–3 attempts, the website started giving me this popup:

"Fraudulent activity detected.. Please close your browser and try again."

Even after closing and reopening the browser multiple times, the exact same error keeps popping up at login, preventing me from proceeding further.

Today is the 7th day after paying my fees, so it is the last day for me to give this test.

Has anyone faced this issue before? Is there a way to bypass/reset this lock today, or do I need to re-book/contact the RTO office? I don't want to pay the fee again. Any immediate advice or fixes would be greatly appreciated!

#Discussion 💬 Loved NS 400z

I recently took test drive of pulsar ns 400z( 350cc) and it was amazing. It looked very impressive, especially from front. I don’t like headlight designs of other pulsar similar bikes, but ns 400 headlights just look so clean.

I first time drove a 40bhp bike, it was crazy quick. And scary fast, like borderline insane( for me). I realised i have to get used to this much power and take time with this bike if I decided to purchase it. I currently drives hero glamour 125 (2014 model).

Well my daily commute is mainly of city and i do think ns 400z power is too much for city commute, also its mileage is also very low. But i do like how it looks and provides excellent package for its value. I was also thinking of n250 and newly launched n250 ss, but i don’t like their headlight setup.

So, NS 400Z owners can you please share your experience of owning this beautiful beast, how’s your after sale experience, wear and tear of bike( if any), build quality of bike, does it age well. And lastly would you recommend it. My fellow bike enthusiasts can also help me decide whether i should consider it or not.

#Query ❓ Confused between the NS200 TFT and N250 SS. Which one should I buy?

I'm planning to buy a new bike and I'm confused between the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 TFT and N250 SS.

Honestly, I really love the Nardo Grey colour on the NS200 TFT, but the N250 SS also looks good.

A little about my usage:

- Height: 5'10"

- Daily office commute: Around 15 km round trip

- Weekend rides: Occasionally 200–300 km round trip

- Main usage: Hyderabad City traffic, with occasional highway rides

I'm looking for a bike that offers good comfort, braking, suspension, reliability and reasonable mileage.

Since both bikes look quite similar, I'm confused about whether the NS200 is worth choosing over the N250 SS.

Should I follow my heart and get the NS200 TFT because I love the colour, or is the N250 SS a better all-rounder for my usage?

Owners, please share your real-world experience and suggestions!

#Query ❓ Lost my Hunter 350 to thiefs, looking for upgrade in 3-4 months.

• Upvotes

So my 10 month old Hunter 350 (graphite grey) was stolen in a busy market in Noida on a Navratri evening about 10 days ago. It broke my heart watching the CCTV footage from a nearby shop where 4-5 people surrounded it and were able to unlock and ride it away in less than 15 min. As a 24 year old, this was the first vehicle purchased under my own name and I absolutely adored it.

However, I'm in the insurance claim process now, which will take at least 3-4 months.

At around 5' 9", people did point out sometimes that the bike looked small for my frame.

So for my next purchase, I'm eyeing the Scrambler 400x or the rumoured upcoming scrambler 450 based on the Sherpa engine from RE.

Would love to hear the opinions from fellow riders in this subreddit on how to finalize my next purchase.

#Discussion 💬 Finally graduating from 8 years of scooter life to a Bonneville T40! Here’s my test-ride shootout & how I got here.

Processing img i183lhiui1yh1...

Really excited for this purchase man, it’s gonna be my first own bike.

A bit of context on how I got here: I’m a 3rd year uni student in my final year. For the past 2 years, I’ve been constantly trying to convince my parents to let me bring my Jupiter to my PG (got 8 years of daily scooter experience running errands before college and 2 years of occasional educative rides on my friend's SZR). But they never agreed due to safety worries and needing the scooter back home.

Then out of nowhere during my first year, my dad started asking me about bikes. He used to be a proper bike guy back in the day—owned an RD350 and has always been crazy about retros. They’d been quietly hinting at getting me something for 2 years, but we just couldn't find the "right" fit. Since I'm still dependent on them, I was quietly pushing for an XSR... until right after my birthday, when my dad being him just went ahead and booked the Bonneville T40 Black for me.

Before finalizing, I test rode pretty much every major contender in this segment:

KTM 390 series / ADV 390: Way too aggressive for my riding style, and the ADV just didn't feel right ergonomics-wise.

Yamaha XSR155: Super smooth and nimble, but lacked pillion comfort and felt a bit too exposed. Still a solid machine and easily made my top 3.

Honda CB350: Easily the smoothest of the lot. The clutch pull was absurdly light, but I really missed having a tachometer on the console, and considering the extreme lack of Bigwing showrooms in my area...nahh.

Speed 400 & Scrambler 400X: Felt plenty powerful, but I really didn’t like the buzz and vibrations creeping in above 6k RPM.

Speed T4: Honestly loved this one. Ticked all the boxes—felt refined, very comfortable, vibrations were way better managed than the Speed 400, and the low-end torque delivery was super sweet in the city. Even tho it lacks electronics and such but then-

Which eventually led us to the Bonneville T40 Black. It just brings that classic retro silhouette together with a relaxed, punchy low-end tune that hit the sweet spot for both me and my dad, also having everything that Speed T4 doesn't have.

Gear & Ownership plan:

I want to be completely responsible with this. I'm putting all my internship savings straight into gear first—getting solid full gauntlets and an ECE 22.06 lid (dad's chipping in on the helmet). My brother is helping me finance the bike, and I’m setting up a 3-year plan so I can take over the EMIs myself the moment college ends. There's a lot of love and care waiting for me back home, so ATGATT is non-negotiable(tho i can only afford a helmet and gauntlets rn).

#Query ❓ What should I buy next as an entry level?

• Upvotes

I've been riding the Honda SP125 for the past 5 years, and the odometer crossed 1 lakh kilometres yesterday. No complaints yet. But I'm buying it for my younger brother.

I'm looking to upgrade to an entry level sports bike with a budget of ₹2 lakh. I've already owned bikes from Honda and TVS, including the Raider 125.

My primary use will be city commuting, with occasional highway rides, including long distance trips of around 650 km.

What would be the best bike to upgrade to? I'm open to other brands and suggestions. Please avoid 125cc.

#Discussion 💬 Yamaha XSR 155 for a 5’4” rider – Can I flat-foot it?

Guys, what do you think about the Yamaha XSR 155 for someone who is 5’4” tall? Its seat height is 810 mm. Will I be able to flat-foot it, or will I have to tiptoe?

Anyone around my height who owns or has ridden this bike? Please share your experience! 🙏

#Review 📝 Gave my Himalayan to an authorised service centre. Got a 24-day masterclass in customer harassment instead.

So my 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 started shutting off when I turned the handlebar. Called RSA and it took it to Bolt Motorcycles LLP, Hitec City in Hyderabad, which was the nearest. I said ok thinking an authorised service centre would diagnose and fix it properly.

Oh boy, was I optimistic.

The saga:

🔹 Chapter 1: The Wiring Harness Mystery

Initially, the issue apparently pointed towards the main wiring harness. After keeping my bike there for days, I was eventually told that the actual culprit was the lockset. So, apparently, the wiring harness was innocent all along. So i was charged 10k and they changed the whole bike wiring for no reason 😭

🔹 Chapter 2: The Spare Part That Travelled Across Generations

The lockset needed replacement, and it took ANOTHER TWO WEEKS for the part to arrive. At this point, I'm convinced the part was being personally escorted to Hyderabad on a bullock cart. Even German cars ordering parts from abroad seem to have a faster logistics network.

🔹 Chapter 3: The Incomplete DLC

They replaced the ignition-side lockset but couldn't replace the fuel tank cap because both come as a set.

Their proposed solution? "Sir, we'll get it fixed from outside."

BRO. 😭 I came to an authorised service centre. If I wanted to coordinate repairs with random outside shops, I could have skipped the authorised service experience entirely.

After 24 DAYS, I finally told them to just give me my bike back.

🔹 Chapter 4: The Technician's Legendary 10-Minute Callback

The technician handling my case deserves a special mention.

I'd follow up almost every day. The response? "Sir, I'll check and tell you in 10 minutes."

And then... nothing.

No callback. No update. No information. Just me staring at my phone like a person waiting for exam results.

At this point, those 10 minutes are in a different timezone

🔹 The Final Boss: Customer Feedback

After this entire circus, they asked me to send them the link to their feedback form.

THE AUDACITY. 💀😂

TLDR:

I understand that diagnosing intermittent electrical faults can be difficult. I don't expect every problem to be fixed instantly. But 24 days, changing diagnoses, a two-week wait for a part, an incomplete job, and practically nonexistent communication? That's just unacceptable customer service.

If you're a Himalayan owner in Hyderabad, please do your research before handing over your bike here. I wouldn't want anyone else spending 24 days playing customer-service follow-up manager while their bike enjoys an extended vacation in the workshop.

#Discussion 💬 Should I go for the Honda CB350RS or the H'ness?

Thumbnail
gallery
127 Upvotes

Can owners of these bikes drop their two cents on what made them choose theirs?

Me personally, I really like the looks of the RS but the comfort and posture on the H'ness is what draws me towards it.

Only if it were possible to have the H'ness riding position on the RS, I would get it in an instant.

On top of that the H'ness comes with a lot of stuff default while also being cheaper that you would have to worry about later on the RS, like a proper mudguard, grab rails, usb charging.

Riding character wise there isn't really a stark difference. So that shouldn't be a deciding factor I think.

Hey everyone,

Very solid metal construction.
