I gave my Yamaha Ray ZR 125 scooter to my mechanic for service and some repair work.

He’s made a bill of almost 8k and sent me, I’ve asked him not to start the service until I confirm.

5. Theres a speedometer issue which is optional at this point

He says he’ll reduce labor give discount etc, however can anyone advise on is it better to give the scooty to Yamaha service centre instead ?

I'm trying to identify the ticking/rattling noise from this 1.2 kappa engine in my 2019 I20 CVT 33000kms . AC is off. There also seems to be an oil spot on the plastic tray in the bottom. Do not know if both are related.

a relative had a skoda laura a few years back and is advising against skoda because of this reason.

how's your experience with skoda service been after owning the car? scheduled services, etc.?

(Let me rant about my amateur mistake, optional to read 😓) waste collecting autos all park on the opposite way of the main road in my area and all the workers annas occupy half of it chit chatting, another auto was coming crossing the road while turning towards me, i saw a little traffic piling up behind me so in that moment i managed to avoid the auto but caught the waste bag 🤧 my sister is gonna whoop my a\*\* 🥲 im not fully confident turning right so i turn left towards them, sigh... i'll avoid this road until I'm more confident.

Edit: My sister agreed on the advice to wait and see if I give her car a few more scratches 😅 and get them all fixed at once but really thanks to everyone I learned some important things and terms about car maintenance. I'll practice a lot, get my license, fit good quality front and rear cameras, learn about insurance and only then go on road and drive like a turtle (i mean follow speed limit).

I always wanted to buy this bike. I'm getting this beauty for 75,000. It's 2022 street model, 11500 kms driven. Single owner. Should I buy it or buy a new one. On some threads I've read that getting new avenger is totally waste of money, one should go for 2nd hand. Any genuine advice would be appreciated.

Daily running is 10kms. Height is 5 feet 4 inches. Is it comfortable for city commute and I will be going to weekend rides for 40-50 kms.

Hey riders. I hope you are doing fine. Please help me to get the best engine oil. I completed 13k km on my honda hornet 2.0 in last 2.5 years, and done with 5 services. First 3 was free which was done at ASC. Stock oil was not that good. Then I tried motul 5100 10w30 and currently I'm using shell advance fuel save 10w30 (manual says to use 10w30). Both these oil works good till 2000km then they lose their properties and vibration starts showing.

I am planning to shift to motul 7100 10w40/ shell advance ultra 10w40 fully synthetic ones as there are not many options in 10w30. Is there any mileage drop or cold start issues in using 10w40 (currently getting 45kmpl+ in city riding). Please suggest the best engine oil according to your riding experience :-)

I want to check the service history of a car I have been eyeing on I know the best method is taking it to the service centre but I wanted to check it beforehand after getting a report? Are there any trusted sources? Are the Vehicle Info, Cars 24 Reports reliable enough?? Please suggest some good methods I can do so.

The car is perfect but DCT gearbox is not suitable for my daily use. My office is in a very high traffic area and I face issues in bumper to bumper traffic. That's why I want to sell this and buy a new seltos ivt No other reason.

something has fallen off inside of my taillight. i have been travelling heavily this week(dashai purpose) and yesterday a noise came from the rear of my avenger 220. when i looked, a small piece seems to have fallen off, which was making the noise.

what is it? Is it something important that i will have to replace with another one? Helpp.
