Got this 2015 (135k miles) for free from a family member. Put new alternator in and did an oil change. Needs new tires, but running good now. Is there anything else I should know/look out for? Having to use this as my daily driver as my other vehicle is having some issues I can't afford to fix right now.

Replaced all 4 spark plugs maybe 2 years ago, and since then the car has been running fine. I recently discovered cylinder 1 has oil coming into the well? Not too entirely sure what would cause any of this. I did however do my valve cover gasket back in April but since then I haven’t seen any oil leaks or anything of that nature. Any thoughts or advice would be great!

2016 Ford Focus Ecoboost 1.0 Liter Hatchback Trend. I got back from work to head out quickly again upon switching the car one I was presented with a high temp warning notice as shown in the video.

First thing I check was the coolant and it’s perfect at its Max line. I also recently did a full service plus timing wet belt change and a new water pump. Did that massive service a month ago. And now I am getting this. After multiple switch off and ons. It’s back to normal again. The fans kick in after idling it and revving it a bit. The temp gauge sits on half point.

I also replaced the thermostat housing two years ago so I don’t think it could be that. I do everything genuine at ford dealers.

I just spent and arm and leg to do the timing on this car and everything that comes with it I can go back now to the dealer again and break another leg. 😞 any ideas what this is? A bad sensor maybe?

Hey everyone, not sure if I am looking in the wrong places but I seem to be struggling to find a rear sub frame for my focus that isn't overpriced or out of stock. I also took a look at breakers but some of them seem in pretty bad shape and almost cost the same as new ones.

Tried googling the part number BV61-5K067-DB.

The questions I have are:

Is the subframe interchangeable with other subframes?

Recommendation on online stores that might have it ? (UK)

My 2017 Ford Focus SE with the DCT started having problems shifting last Friday. It woule shake pretty violently when trying to shift gears every once in a while, and the check engine light turned on shortly after I first noticed it. I got it scanned and the code read P07A3.

Over the next few day I continuted driving it for about 300 miles. Today after driving about a mile away from my apartment, it completely stopped shifting so I pulled over and powered my car off. I tried restarting, but it wouldn't start. Had to get it towed back home.

Now that I'm here I looked it up and read that a faulty TCM could be the culprit if it wasn't starting. Went outside, tried swapping from park to neutral, and the car started. It will not reverse though.

Was wondering if anyone has dealt with something similar. I'm wondering if it's only my TCM, or if the clutches need replacement as well. I'm planning on having it checked by next week. Just wondering what experiences have been like on here.

It's a left hand drive car and I am going to the United Kingdom next week and I struggle to find a real conclusive answer of I need beam deflectors for it.

I hope someone can help me get a clear answer because I can not find official information if I need headlight stickers.

I have a bad battery I can’t afford one right now buuuttt is it normal when in park when I turn the steering wheel the rpm revs alittle bit? Do I need new parts ?

No check engine codes, and it’s not rubbing on the fender liner or things like that, drives like it should, any idea what it could be?

I'll drop a picture when I'm able to but just curious if there's an obvious cause of the issue. Seems to cover the BCM module attached to it as well, it's less the terminal and more the cable end + box attached. Thanks for any input!

I saw this for sale locally as an auto for cheap ($1700) with 51k miles. Before I purchased it I pulled a manual from a local junkyard. Lots of back and forth for accessories but the swap is not so hard if you can source a donor.

Hi everyone, I was checking this ford focus 1L ecoboost turbocharged petrol and when revving the engine in neutral it makes this sound I am not sure if this is normal, or something seriously wrong with the car, also in neutral the rev wouldn’t go higher than 5000 rpm, is this because the engine is too small or the car is done.

An SUV that I thought was gonna stop kept going through the intersection and hit me… I was almost out of there! At only 30k miles this thing had so much life left in it! I didn’t even have it for two months 😣

Car has been running fine even with the noise, but im just curious as to what the clanging sound may be, if anyone has any idea. Also, does the ticking sound mean I gotta change the spark plugs soon?
