My Ford Puma 2022 has sometimes problems with Apple carplay. Sometimes when I plug my iPhone in and it shares power, but no data. And sometimes i plug in and everything works fine. Its quitte ambivalent. I have Belkin cable, so its certified.

It has Ford Sync 2.5
Changing the USB port doesnt make a difference and i went to the dealer and they did a software reset.

What else could it be?

The Transmission in my mom's 2018 Ford Escape just died and we were quoted $7500 for a replacement. The car has 83k miles on it, so this seems pretty early to have a major repair like this. What are the odds that if I contact Ford customer relationship center, they provide some sort of goodwill contribution?

She leased it at first, then bought after as things were great initially, but around 4 years ago she had a check engine light come on. She paid around 2k for a Ford dealership to diagnose a check engine light issue, and they basically took her money but told her they couldn't figure out the issue. They told her she would have to pay more for further diagnostic testing. That whole issue has left a bad taste in my mouth and I left the Ford hive around that point. Now this transmission issue has me thinking there is a chance that this check engine issue was related to the failing transmission and they failed to identify it. Is there any chance they could be related? I am going to contact the dealership that did the work back when the check engine light issue started and see if I can get a code that was read at this point.

I have a 2023 F-150 Limited PowerBoost Hybrid with around 90,000 km. I had the transmission rebuilt due to excessive bumping and harsh downshifting, but unfortunately, the issue is still there. It also started leaking transmission fluid after the rebuild due to faulty gasket seals, which the dealership repaired.

I was told the transmission needed time to relearn, so I gave it about a month and drove well over 1,000 km. Nothing has changed.

I even went on a test drive with their transmission technician, who personally felt the excessive bumping and suggested that replacing the transmission might be the best option since it had already been rebuilt.

However, the dealership is now claiming they can't reproduce the issue. I contacted Ford Canada, and they're siding with the dealership because there are no fault codes.

I'm honestly frustrated. I understand there aren't any codes, but couldn't this still be a mechanical issue?

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Is there anything I can do besides getting a second opinion? I'm in Ontario, Canada, and I'm honestly losing confidence in Ford at this point.

I recently got a 2018 Ford Taurus SEL, and all has been well for the first two months, but for the past two days when I try to play music via Bluetooth or USB nothing happens. Bluetooth will say connected to my device for about 5 seconds and then auto disconnect. Curious if this is a known issue, and what the workaround would be?

So try and keep the story brief I have a bit of a project car that I’m working on and acquired a 3.5 L eco-boost
This particular project car is extremely small so the only way that that engine is going to work properly is with a trans axle since the engine is mid mounted

I’ve heard that there are options like from Porsche or possibly a C6 Corvette, but I would love to know any other possible options that people have found or know about

Oh, and very much if possible, a manual transmission not an automatic

I have a Ford edge sport 2014 the remote starter , was working before but it stopped working for no reason, I changed the remote battery but nothing worked .

So, my dad and I took our ford up to the ford dealership near us to get it fixed this morning because it was making a rattling and screeching noise. Had two issues according to ford: Worn belt and pulley system + the alternator bearing was getting a little worn. Got the belt and pulley fixed, but was gonna hold off on the alternator because it still was under warranty from another place.

We go out and pick up the car and it was still making that rattling noise. Talked to the repair guy about it and he assured us that it was completely safe to drive

Turns out, it was not safe to drive AND they missed another huge issue with the car: The AC compressor was crapping out. My dad only found out about it because the car was smoking up.

I am having difficulty finding this specific Part for a Ford Expedition 2008 EL Limited. I've looked everywhere, including using AI to attempt to find the part, and I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know what this part is called or where can I find it? It is plastic and rubber. It is specifically the Rear Quarterback Window on the passenger side. It is the power door one that opens.
