If you solved P=NP, how could you could make the most money?
If you proved P=NP and had a practical algorith, how could you make the most money (assuming you kept it to yourself and didn't release the results/algorith to the public of course)

Answered Why do we say 'break a leg' instead of something normal like 'good luck'?
i was in a group chat the other day when someone wished the rest of us good luck before an exam, and one person wrote 'break a leg.' everyone laughed but then we started wondering where that saying even comes from and why it's the default for performers. it feels oddly specific compared to other well-wishes. is there a story behind it or did it just catch on for some reason? would love any explanations people have heard.

Answered Is this food still safe if it sat out and smells different?
I made some leftovers yesterday and forgot to put them back in the fridge. They were out for maybe four or five hours. When I opened the container today, the smell seemed off, not exactly bad but not the same as before. I've been wondering whether it's worth the risk to try reheating them or if I should just toss the whole thing. I know people have different rules of thumb for this kind of thing, but I'm not sure which ones actually line up with food safety. Has anyone dealt with something similar and figured out a safer way to decide?

Why is Russian/Slavic literature so depressing?
I mean i'm sure there's joy and whimsy a plenty too but most of the famous ones are straight up depressing as hell and really nihilsitic
English literature i've found is far more hopeful in its breadth of the classics
So....why are Russian authors so depressed?

hi. why do they call some lakes with the lake before the name, and other makes with the mame before the lake?

example. Lake Havasu, lake Tahoe , make ming.
Or Silverwood lake or puddingstone lake or whatever.
you see what I mean? cause some is before and some is after the sames of the makes and I don't understand why they are flipped around for what reason who knows? I sure as hell don't know. What about river? tennessee River or River Tennessee? why not

what did you learn as an adult that school should have taught us
I grew up in Alabama. Grade school through high school we learned nothing about the economy. I wish we had been taught to understand the stock market.

According to you, what's the difference, in practical terms and effects, between a Representative and a Senator?
I just wonder if the two things have become essentially the same thing (a Congressperson) with the one key difference that their terms last different years. But I could be wrong and I'd like to hear from you what are their distinctions as per you.
