Reminder: No Survey Questions
Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to remind you all that this subreddit is answers-based—it’s meant to provide clear, informative responses that someone could find useful while searching for answers on Google or other search engines. Lately, I’ve noticed an uptick in survey-style questions (e.g., “What’s your favorite __?” or “How many of you __?”).
These types of questions are not a good fit for the purpose of this community. They don’t create content that is useful for others to search for, and often lead to broad discussions that aren’t about providing a clear answer. As a result, I’ve been removing posts that violate this rule to maintain the quality and focus of the subreddit. Even if that post has a lot of replies as the OP obviously didn’t read the rules before posting, or cared.
If you’re unsure if your post fits, ask yourself: Would this question result in a useful answer for someone looking for a specific answer or information online? If not, it’s likely more of a survey question and violates rule 2.
Thanks for understanding and helping to keep the subreddit on track! 😊

what did you learn as an adult that school should have taught us
I grew up in Alabama. Grade school through high school we learned nothing about the economy. I wish we had been taught to understand the stock market.

Answered Is this food still safe if it sat out and smells different?
I made some leftovers yesterday and forgot to put them back in the fridge. They were out for maybe four or five hours. When I opened the container today, the smell seemed off, not exactly bad but not the same as before. I've been wondering whether it's worth the risk to try reheating them or if I should just toss the whole thing. I know people have different rules of thumb for this kind of thing, but I'm not sure which ones actually line up with food safety. Has anyone dealt with something similar and figured out a safer way to decide?

Answered why does my printer always mess up the margins?
so this happens every single time i try to print something simple. i double check the settings, hit print, and the text ends up way too close to the edge or cut off completely. ive tried changing the margins in the document and in the printer options but nothing really sticks. sometimes restarting the computer helps once but the next time its back to the same issue. ive also tried different file types and different printers at the library but it still happens. is there some step im overlooking or does this just come with the territory of home printing?
