For me:

I remember not caring much about football when I was a little guy and my dad took me to see the Titans. After the game you used to be able to line up at a fence to get autographs as players walked to their car. Little me was too shy to go up to the fence so I just stood back with a little pack of cards my dad bought me and watched the players sign autographs from afar..then Eddie George came out and started signing autos and out of all the people he noticed me standing next to my dad like 20 feet away from the crowd and ushers me over to sign my card and ask me how I was doing in school. He made me a Titans fan.

Long story short- Eddie George ruined my life

Continued: 3/7 teams have had their best performance of the season against the Titans. For context: Robert Saleh’s defense has finished top 5 in yards allowed 5/7 last season.

We are 28th currently. I still believe the defense will get better over time, but you have to be realistic about why we’re not winning.

We are coming down for the Three Days Grace concert and staying downtown. We figured we would get in early enough to watch the game. Best and cheapest place either downtown Broadway or super nearby. Our hotel doesn’t have a large tv or bar area on site.

IIRC this is the first week he could be activated from IR. I haven't heard anything about the severity of his injury/how far away he is from returning. Mafi has played okay in his place but it would be nice to get a promising rookie back.

(While we may not be there quite yet) it’s getting close
To time for me to mentally tank for Jeremiah smith. This is super hard to do because it essentially means I hope the other team wins but this doesn’t usually really hit until 2 or 3 games left….but this Jeremiah smith guy. I need him on this time by any means necessary. Our offense would not need to spend anymore draft picks and be essentially set. (Sands qb issues) and then the attention could go defensively.

Edit: 0.16 not 0.19. Also, tied for the worst in yards/attempt

Obviously, the season hasn’t gone how we hoped it would. Still, one metric you can use to evaluate a coach is how well he covers the spread. One thing that feels different about this season is that the games are closer, and the record against the spread (ATS) reflects that, where we covered against the Eagles, Ravens, and Colts. Meanwhile Brian Callahan posted an abominable 2-15 record ATS, the worst single season record in the Super Bowl era. His last 6 games left him with a 4-19 record, the worst of any coach in the Super Bowl era.

For what this means going forward: Cincinnati is hosting us as 10 point favorites, and if Saleh’s squad puts up at least a 9 point loss, he will have tied Brian Callahan’s tenure as the Titans head coach. Granted, his current record against the spread here isn’t significantly better than his time with the Jets: 22-33-1 ATS (.402 in NY vs .429 here). We’ve gotten a perfectly middling head coach, which compared to Matt Nagy after 2018 was 17-32-1 ATS for a .347 could have been much worse.

TL;DR I don’t see Saleh as a long term solution on the sidelines, but for someone who can help rebuild a culture and make games competitive, we could do a lot worse.

Man, I know a lot of you just, uh, like watch the games, man, on TV, but, man, I was listening on the radio in the, uh, like, car yesterday, man, and uh it just made me want to, like, uh, throw out a question, man, about Ramon Foster. Man, I could completely, like, completely, man, understand putting, like, a Pittsburgh Steeler in that seat, man, I mean, really, man ... if he uh, like, man if he was, like, a, uh, really good broadcaster, man. But, this, uh, I mean, like, really, man, doesn't seem to be, uh, the case, man.

YouTuber FootballAnalysis gives his opinion on Cam Ward

Source: https://www.sports-reference.com/stathead/tiny/beqr5

"They allowed 7 total pressures but 6 of them were just hurries & only allowed 1 QB hit & zero sacks. It’s the 3rd time out of 7 games that #CamWard has not been sacked in a game. Ward only had 2 out of 17 games last season where he wasn’t sacked.

RT JC Latham & LG Peter Skoronski were awesome. Neither allowed a pressure. LT Dan Moore only allowed 1 hurry. C Austin Schlottmann allowed 2 pressures, 1 QB hit & 1 hurry. RG Atonio Mafi allowed 4 hurries.

The run blocking was great as well. Not only was the Oline blocking opening up holes consistently but the TEs & WRs had some solid blocking reps as well.

Anyone still blaming the Oline this season is absolutely wrong 🤷🏼‍♂️"

#TitanUp

Will miss this place. Lots of memories here. He took me for so many games over the years, and I got to take him to our final game at The Coliseum.

Titan up forever.

I'm glad we went for it when we were at the goal line, but did it cost the game?
