Discuss Beane - Please don’t commit another Waddle debacle.

Post image
155 Upvotes

Please, please don’t do what you did last year as the trade deadline approaches. We could have had Waddle then and you left him to be stuck with the Dolphins and now the Broncos. You do not have to wait until the last minute. You don’t need to fear making a move early. You do not have to be cheap with trades while our quarterback ages. Step up and sign the players we need so we can succeed. (I know he’s not reading this, but I’m putting it out into the universe). We need to bulk up our secondary and it’s time to act.

Edit - I’m not sure why folks are getting confused. I’m not saying to trade for Waddle right now. I’m saying we need him to actually do a deal for our secondary and not wait on it again.

If Buffalo really wanted to improve this defense, then they should start with this guy as one of our main Safeties.

Saw this picture and had to make it into a stained glass piece. It’s the “bills” within the Buffalo logo. This is my first try making this stained glass bills design. Been feeling really creative lately. Go Bills and let’s go Buffalo. If you like what you see, don’t be afraid to reach out on my Instagram. If you’re coming for a home game and you’re out of town and want to see some cool stained glass. Let’s meet up.

Discuss I lost my remote and ended up passively watching that docuseries Just One Before I Die

I don’t watch sports, and certainly not sports docuseries. I’ve been painting my house and had movies playing for “company”, and that show came on. I let it play and found myself watching pretty intently for a good bit.

Idk if the creators of the show are just really good at what they do, but it had me considering trying to move to Buffalo (I live in the middle of the U.S.) Seems like a great place!

Discuss I need a good hex for tonight

I’m at an event at Gillette Stadium tonight for work that includes getting to see and try on Super Bowl rings.

I’m tempted to put them on and think witchy hex thought their way to ruin the Pats season.

Being a Bills fan in Mass sucks sometimes.

Discuss Can we please get a dedicated deadline/roster moves megathread?

You know the posts will continue after each move across the league and every Schefter tweet mentioning buyers and sellers. Seems like it might be a good idea to have a pinned megathread to point folks to for all things roster related🤷

News/Analysis Ravens first-round guard Vega Ioane, one of the NFL’s best rookies this season, suffered an MCL sprain against the Bengals, sources tell me and Mike Garafolo. It’s considered to be a short-term injury, though he will miss a little time.

Sucks to see a promising rookie get hurt, but this is undeniably fortuitous. Here’s hoping Deone can partner with a healthy Ed Oliver and wreak some havoc.

Video I found on YouTube by BlitzTalk. He does videos that dig deep into data. This video looks at the refs to see which ones are the worst. I think it's worth the watch.

Discuss I have a weird feeling about this year

Every single year I’m a Bills doomer. I had rock bottom expectations in 2024 after the Diggs trade and we did really well, expected nothing last year and we stumbled to a divisional exit, but this year, for some weird reason, I feel different. Not saying I’m sold on us winning the Super Bowl or even reaching there, but something about the way this year started and how clean the offensive performance was vs the Texans and then vs Detroit made me think maybe. The games since then have been up and down, but we’ve really not had a healthy DJ Moore and I think he makes a huge difference to our passing attack. Even without him, we somehow managed to put up damn near 30 points every game.

Anyway, all this to say that I think we really should go all out for a trade this year. I think if we can somehow trade our way to even a middle of the pack defense, we could really be the top dogs in the AFC. Even on the defensive side, the DLine has been good (not great) and I think our corners, specifically Benford and IGB are serviceable if they play man, or at least that’s what it felt like vs the Raiders and at times against the Rams. If we can bring in a safety or LB who’s truly a difference maker, I think we could really challenge. Another thing is, Josh is now over 30, it’s truly the latter half of his career and I think this year is probably the best chance we’re going to have.

I know a lot more goes into making a trade than wishful thinking and throwing money around. I think cap wise we’re in hell and a trade may not even be feasible. But what’s everyone’s appetite for defensive trades this year? As in, how extreme are you willing to go to get a defensive difference maker? Would you be willing to give up a 1st or 2nd? Curious what you all think and Go Bills!

News/Analysis [Dabbundo] "The 2026 Buffalo Bills are the only team in the 21st century to rank two full standard deviations above average on offense, and two full standard deviations below average on defense through the first 7 weeks of the season, top 2 offense, bottom 2 defense.

Discuss Is the paid tailgate at the stadium worth it?

My boyfriend and I are flying in this weekend for the Ravens @ Bills game. We are renting a car but did not get stadium parking, we wanted to check out a tailgate? I saw that they have some VIP stadium tailgate $135/ person but it only includes food/drinks and no parking. Is it worth it? Or should we find other tailgates? any fb groups or anything to join?

Misc Dec 6 Bills @ Pats Tailgate

A couple of friends and I are driving up from Long Island to go to the game 12/6. Any big tailgates going on? We're looking for something ticketed like what Fans of Buffalo or Game Day Hospitality does but it seems like none of them are doing a tailgate then. Anyone got any ideas on where to go?

Misc 1st Time at Highmark

I've got 2 tickets for this Sunday in C127, the charge bar. Never been to the stadiums before but apparently I can access the VIP entrance. Where is that located outside the stadium?

Also maybe a dumber question but how does parking work? Looks like you cannot buy passes to stadium parking lots now. Do you just have to find parking at peoples houses like I've heard for friends?

Any other things I should know going for the first time??? Pumped.

Discuss Tailgate report - new feel this year

I’m sorry for contributing to the mass amount of tailgating posts but I have to ask.

Do the lots feel different to anyone this year?

We have parked in or around lot 7, now orange lot, for years as that’s the easiest way for us to come from where we live. I have a pass this year for Orange lot.

It feels different this year. I’m sure it is due to the increase in bills lot spaces this year from last, people wanting to check out the stadium before the game, and the activities in the secure area opening an hour after the lots open but there seems to be a dramatic decrease in the density of tailgating from last year.

Orange lot takes forever to get filling, grass lot half or more empty.

I haven’t walked around and checked out other spots this year. Does anyone have any intel from other lots / areas? Southwestern, Abbot and big tree, front yards, ecc, wings, etc?

We sold our pass for this weekend and hope to get into a busier lot that feels more at home than we have felt in Orange.

Misc Anyone traveling up from NYC to Buffalo this weekend?

Hey everyone

I'll be arriving in BUF Saturday evening and was curious if anyone is making the same trip for the game.

Let me know if there are any existing tailgates or pre-game hangouts happening....especially if you're living in the 5 boroughs and support the Bills!
