Why isn't anyone talking about this??? Shough is gonna get a big payday and big QB paydays always hurt team building

Examples:

Pat mahomes - can't afford good receivers

Josh Allen - can't afford a good defense

Joe burrow - can't afford good o lineman

Dak Prescott - can't afford a good defense

A great QB on a rookie deal is your one shot to build a complete team around him without holes. Maybe we do like the Chiefs and kick money down the road to extend the window???

Need to get in on some of that Colts purge how great would it be to have Jonathan Taylor?

An 8 time pro bowl G went for a 3rd round pick...A 3 time pro bowl DE for a 4th...would you back the Saints if they made a similar trade for position of need? Or do you want them to hold on to draft picks?

It’s disappointing that the Steelers found so many flaws on our offense . Nick underhill said this teams doesn’t exploits others teams weaknesses and I agree.
What’s more disappointing is we haven’t blow any one out this year. Last year I think it only Jets and Sad Bryce.
I have accepted this team will always be slow starters due to the script being so rigid .Shough works best as an improviser and making magic happen and hopefully Moore will take the training wheels off.

I don’t think Shough is our future long term QB1 Shough is good but due to age and we gonna be in a rebuild for awhile Shough will be 30 by the time his rookie deal is up.

All I’ll say for right now is if we ain’t competitive by Shough rookie deal is up I have no problem letting him walk or sign and trade.

Only way I see Shough being worth keeping is us being competitive in 2 or 3 years and if we still in rebuild full reset again

Fans will hate it but it’s the truth on how the nfl works

Vele, Granderson, Kool-Aid off the top of my head, All should have some value. Anyone else? I want Justin Reid gone ASAP but can't see anyone giving up even a 7th for him he's that bad.

This team is so poorly built I can’t see us being competitive any time soon. We’ve had teams in the past that felt like we were one position group away from being functional but this roster feels more like 3 or 4 away.

Compared to past years the one position we’ve managed to turn around is WR. With Jordyn Tyson slated to return after the bye (I’m assuming), the ascension of guys like Vele, Brown, and a 4th round pick invested in Bryce Lance, when do we have to consider Olave is a luxury we can no longer have with a roster this bad?

I got this one wrong, how many fans remember this?

The grades are not that good from the Saints loss to Pittsburgh.

Do you think we nailed it?

Hi all, I am wondering if anybody has seen or knows about an edit I saw online about 1-2 years ago of the Saints defense set to 94 Ghost Shit by Westside Gunn. It was on either TikTok or Instagram and I can't seem to find it. If anybody knows about it or has a link I would greatly appreciate it!

Bonjour Saints fans. Long time fan checking in with some love and a question.
Even though the showing was disappointing (I'm still holding hope for Kellen/Tyler though, rebuilds take time) I thoroughly enjoyed the Paris experience. Drove from the Netherlands with my 8-year old for his first NFL game (had to be the Saints) and he truly was treated as a lil' WhoDat and I love you guys for it. Almost felt like New Orleans over there.
He even got some necklaces and cupholders as gifts, he completed my task of spotting all 32 teams represented around the stadium and he keeps asking when we'll go again.

Now for the question: do any of you guys happen to have video of the pregame montage shown in the stadium to the music of Justice - Genesis? That was an awesome hype-video.

Here’s a look at the current roster, practice squad, IR, and depth chart heading into the bye week!

How do we feel about the current state of the roster?

What the title says, except I'm a huge football fan trying to make a lame joke.

Not a Saints fan, but I love to cheer on the local team (when allowed. Sorry, Bills) and get experiences at as many places I can. I'm coming to the Saints/Browns game in two weeks. I'd love to say hey, come share a beer with, etc. anyone tailgating. Been to NOLA a lot but never for a game.

What does the scene look like before the game? Any good tailgating/hang out spots? I'd love to contribute and hang out! Can anyone walk me through the pregame culture? Thanks 🙂
