I asked a few workers and other students and everyone is complaining about it. why is it like 25 degrees in there bro 😭

I need a friend group. I’m in my second year and I spend my days alone. I know that others have a select group of people that they can go on campus with. I would love to have that but I go everywhere by myself. It seems like everyone’s already found their groups and there’s nowhere for me to fit in. How could I develop close friendships if everyone’s always found their people? I do have some friends but they’re all individual friends and they’re not the type to go out. What’s worse is that I do have roommates but we barely even talk or banter. I know someone who is best friends with ALL of their roommates and I can’t imagine the fun they must be having. I want to have fun and make those memories. Silly memories sweet memories everything in between. I mean, there’s no one really I can like hit up on a random Tuesday and just hang out. At the same time, I want those deep bonds and a support system to fall back on. I want to make the best of my youth but I feel like I’m just wasting it and time is running out. I’m wondering if anyone else is feeling the same way. Pls lmk how can I find myself one of those quintessential university friend groups that actually does stuff together lol

I know that everyone says that it’s important to ask for help and attend office hours to have more one on one time with your prof but lowkey it feels time consuming. Like there is always a huge line of people when I go and it takes time for the prof to get through everyone. I feel like I can just find the answer to my questions by watching a video or going online instead of having to wait all this time.

I know this subreddit has seen a million mental health rants but my next therapy appointment is in a few weeks and i have nobody else to talk to so here we are. I'm in my 3rd year and honestly I dont think I can do this anymore. I have no life outside of school cause I have one close friend who doesn't even go to mac and I can't rely on my gpa anymore cause I've been fucking things up all year. I have no job and my parents pay for everything for me so I can't even drop out and pay them back because where the hell am I getting over 35k from. I'm tired and so fucking over everything but I can't do anything about it so I'm just stuck in an endless loop of losing my mind right when I think I'm getting better and at this rate I won't even be able to finish this semester. I’m a first time ta and I normally end class pretty early because participation is literally in the gutter. My supervisor wants us to make time for a lot of discussion but literally no one puts their hand up and idk what to do… ive tried multiple different ways to participate and they aren’t much better…i feel so bad for ending early but i don’t have the expertise to turn it into a full on lecture. would you guys be pissed if your ta ends early a lot (~20 mins early on 50 min tut)

Wth is wrong with this school and its horrible parking management. I drove today because I was running behind, I ran behind even MORE looking for parking. The stadium is empty and it says it’s full. Hi, I’m a girl in second year and I don’t really want to go to the house parties but that’s what all my friends are doing. Does anyone want to hit up the bars with me friday/Saturday? I’ve also been meaning to meet new people but school got busy and I gave up :P

I've used 2 MSAF type B's before for small assignments (10-20%, diff terms, last school year). I've submitted them due to severe sickness that always comes around during this time of year and I haven't been asked for documentation for the two that I have used.

Does anybody know if this level of leniency decreases the more MSAF Type B's you submit total? Or is it only in regards to how many you submit per term and I likely won't be asked for documentation this term as well? This is a 35% midterm as well so I'm not too sure. I don't want to go pay 50+ bucks for a doctors note from my family doctor for the 3rd time just for them to not even ask for one.

Any advice on what I should study for this midterm? What should I focus on the most? I haven’t been very regular in his classes, my fault, can’t help but be bored but i’m working on it.

Are the past papers actually helpful? I wanna at least pass and do good on this so, any advice is appreciated!!!
