Koseki Bijou (4'7 medically classified as a little guy) in idol showdown
And
Arjun (6'9 medically classified as a big guy) in street fighter 6 both have the same grey health smashing gameplay and now I need some artist to make my world worth living in by giving me silly art of these two
Also they both do a funny dance in a super they have and I think that's neat adorable.

I've been a bbcf / vs game player the past 3y ive been picking up fg, but sf6 caught my attention on release but I got too frustrated too fast since no character really fit me. Finally revisited the game because of Ingrid and even though im pretty stuck in plat and feel lost rn I'm actually enjoying the grind rather then getting frustrated at how wildly different this game is from my normal.
Every other fg ive played has been an old title where I knew going in who id like and if the answer was nobody I didnt play, but sf6 sat shelved for so long waiting to finally want to play it and its a great feeling.
Has anyone had the opposite experience before, where they liked a game enough to fall in love with the system even if you didnt like any characters? If so did you feel like lack of character interest affected you good or bad in any way?

link to old thread like 2 years ago.
but no one seemed to really answer.
Are there big fundamental differences between T6 and TTT2 1v1??? If not aren't we kinda splintering the community by having two different launchers for what could potentially just be one???
theres like 3 different TTT2 recomps and the T6 recomp and the psp t6 port... couldn't we potentially just have one main hub for all of this since TTT2 1v1 is just T6 with more characters??? especially now that we're getting bonus characters like reina and noctis from the future games in here as well???

Hello there! I'm looking to comission someone to draw the main antagonist of my Martial Arts Wuxia story. She is a vengeful war deity known as the "Goddess of Combat". She is currently the strongest, most skilled fighter in my story. And I wish to reflect that in her fighting stance. And for that, I need a perfect reference to give my artist.
For extra info, my creation deity "engineered" her specifically to be its strongest creation yet. Fighting is in her very essence. Right after being born, she beat the ass of my setting's "demon lord". Despite having no previous Martial Arts knowledge, she still came pre-programmed with instincts that told her how to position her body in order to generate the maximum amount of power behind her punches.
And that was her as a newborn. She is now centuries old. That was enough time for her to learn every every single Martial Art within my setting. She can chain different techniques and styles together in ways that shouldn't be possible for a normal human.
Which is why I want to give her a "Formless" stance.
I mean- Why strike a stance when most of my characters are not on her level? It's barely worth the effort. They're just flies to her. I want her to just stand there, eyeing them like a predator, only to suddenly surprise her opponent with a perfect, beautifully smooth back kick. No wind-up, no tells, no nothing. Just snapping from relaxed to "your jaw's broken".
I want her to feel like she's not even TRYING.
So help an artist out. Any other characters that give these vibes for me to use?

I'm new to fighting games and I try to make sense of how combos work in different fighting games, so from what I understand in SF6/COTW combos are strictly time dependent with respect to the very last recovery frame of the first move immediately into the very first startup frame of the second move, which are called links, and then you have the cancels where you combo by cancelling a move's active frames into a special move.
In Guilty Gear rather than timing strict recovery-to-hit-stun links or cancelling normals into specials, you simply just hit the buttons without any super strict windows to cancel certain normal attacks directly into other normal attacks following a flow from weaker to stronger buttons.
SF6's Target Combos and COTW's Combination Attacks are sort of similar to how Guilty Gear combos are with regards to how they aren't super strict on timing or windows and you just press buttons to do the combos (barring the whole weaker-to-stronger buttons thing), right?

Truthfully I do not actually like SF6 or Street Fighter in general for various reasons but I love Kimberly Jackson. If Kim got deleted from SF6 tomorrow I would uninstall SF6 and never look back. I can’t even really enjoy watching SF6 unless Kim is on the screen. I’ve gotten so addicted to this character that it’s gotten to the point where I started daydreaming about bomb setups when I was stuck in traffic yesterday. Has anyone else ever felt like this about a character/game before?

Hello! I am a brazilian and a fan of fighting games! EVO Brazil looks like a perfect opportunity for me to experience a big FGC tournament. I wanted to participate in some way in the event, but the only game i play is SF6 and im not even good in that. Another way i saw is that i can aplly to be a bracket referee. I would like to work there and help organize the event. So i wanted to know: has anyone been a bracket referee? I have some questions about it:
1 - Can you tell me how your experience was?
2 - Is it a problem being a referee and only speaking english and a bit of spanish (and obviously portuguese too)?
3 - Would i get to only work for the three days of EVO or would i have actual time to spend in the event? (playing, going to the artists valley, seeing the shops in the event)
And i think thats about it. If you never were a bracket referee but have something to say tell me in the comments. Thanks!

I have been playing fighting games for... 4 ish years now? and I can quarter circle forward, quarter circle backwards, half circle, full circle, charge move, every witch way. but I just cannot get the DP move down! I do it and it either calls a quarter circle move or it dose nothing at all.
the tip ive got before is "hold forward then quarter circle back to forward" but ive had no luck with that. not consistently at least. and not if pulling it off after a diff move.
so Im wondering if theres something im missing? or could I really just be that bad at pulling em off. any tips? tricks? advice? (also this isnt really for one game, just in general)

I’m having trouble getting her super out consistently in a manner that doesn’t leave me completely wide open. How do y’all go about hitting it? Speaking about Tenraiha btw. Also any general tips would be greatly appreciated.
