Or, at the very least, what day do you think they're going to drop his trailer on? Now that I finally have City of the Wolves on my Switch 2, I'm more excited about him coming to the game than ever.

Since the switch 2 release and Mikey and Draken dlc, the game seems to have gotten a bit of a boost in engagement and new players.

I am curious if we will ever get any updated sales/revenue figures for this game. What do we think? Or is it an endless money pit and the investment isnt really to make a profit.

I come from SF6, I'm not talking about roll types I finished the tutorial and know about these, I'm more asking about what should I press on wake up.

1- first question: I know it depends on my opponents tendencies much like SF6, but from what I noticed, EX DP in COTW is not invincible.. I get stuffed a lot, from my goggling it seems to be for all the characters with DP, it's the light DP fully that's invincible whereas hard DP/EX DP are only upper body invincible? So my options are (from best to worst): block and delay tech (beaten by shimmies) > 5 frames jab (gets beaten by meaties) > invincible light DP (gets beaten by blocking/shimmies)?

2- second question: What is the fastest jab in this game? Based on trying a few characters on training mode with frame data on it seems that their fastest jab is 5 frames. There are no characters with jabs in this game that are 4 frames right?

3- What do you guys think of combination attacks? I think it's this game's version of Target Combos from SF6, right? Seems all the cast have A -> C -> C -> D combination attack combos. Do you recommend using them or are they a bad habit? I sometimes like to A -> C and see if they connect before committing to the full combination combo since they seem safer whereas fully committing to them on block is very negative on block.

Correct me if I'm wrong about any of this stuff, thanks.

Btw, I'm liking Hotaru and Mr Karate a lot so these will probably be my mains, I'm also considering playing Mai (since I main her in SF6) and Kim Kaphwan, are any of these too high level/too technical or are all 4 good picks for beginners?

I thought it was part of Season 2, but it turns out it’s free if you already own Season 1. How can I unlock this stage? It won’t let me, even though I have the first edition of the game.

The wiki says there's songs you have to unlock, but in the jukebox i see no locked songs, has the game just unlocked them by default in the latest versions or are there still hidden songs to unlock?

So i really like fighting games and i need help to start this is my first fatal fury game i bought it yesterday, give me tips, i am willing to play with the arcade controls, playing on ps5

It was saving fine until Hotaru's arcade mode for some reason. Since then, the game repeatedly gives me this "save failed" message. It only saves online results and custom character colours. Any other progress since as far as I can tell is wiped the next time I load up the game.

I'm on the latest software version. The cloud automatically backed up after this started happening, so I can't use that. I've redownloaded it. I've cleared the cache. I've even turned the console off and on again. Nothing.

Is all I can do hope for a patch at some point?

Just looking for a good controller to use for fighting games on the Switch 2. Anything out there with a decent D-pad?

with the most recent additions of of Tokyo revengers(Mikey and drauken) and soon Reina, the game is probably getting a good amount of attention from ppl who know the anime and soon ppl who like tekken when Reina releases to check her out.

It had me thinking who else would be a good fit for the game (imo ofc) for it or just a cool idea. I personally think Sakura from windbreakers would be a dope addition. His fighting style fits the game perfectly.

Now ik what some ppl might say. NO ANIME CHARACTERS, NO MORE GUEST CHARACTERS, ETC. guys it’s just a fun discussion I been thinking ab and just wanting to know the community ideas and opinions. Have fun with it yk?

ALSO: does anyone know if ppl in North America servers are just not as many or why most of the connections are choppy/not very decent? Any help on that would also be appreciated🙌🏾

These some of the matches from the stream I did on Friday. New season means new chances to reach in greater heights with Miss B and a new road beginning. I caught a cold the during the intro so my voice isn’t the best but the rest of the video the voice is normal. I Really do appreciate all the support and people who stopped by and joined the community. We are truly building something here and I’ve been gaining a lot of new follows so fast that it still feels unreal.

I really am grateful.I’ve been in the process of trying to get out to more offline but travels pretty tough and I don’t drive. Was able to get out to eclipse and play in max mode which was a 16 player bracket and ended up fighting all the way to 3RD place with Jenet 🏴‍☠️. there’s more content to come. After SNK went on that failed Million dollar marketing campaign, they've been really dropping the ball with the marketing. It's mostly appearent with the DLC character trailers that've all been pretty bad. For a minute and 30 second gameplay trailer, they show so little real gamplay footage with half the actual gamplay being just hidden gears. Compare this to the guilty gear strive charcter trailers that have similar run times but show much more intresting gamplay related content. With one of the biggest appeals of COTW being the one character a month DLC, i don't know why they're shooting themselves in th foot with these trailers.

The airgrab specifically, the timing seens quite tight.

I had a rough time dealing with Kim, but I managed to figure it out on my own. These two sons of bitches, though they’re driving me crazy. I’ve dropped four whole ranks against these pieces of shit. Whose bright idea was it to release two fucking characters at the exact same fucking time? Does SNK think I have all the time in the world to learn the matchup for every single character in just one fucking month? Assholes. Anyway, maybe I just suck at the game, but I’d appreciate any advice or whatever.
