Hey everyone,

I'm a mid-level player based in Germany looking to pick up a traditional joystick during the upcoming Black Friday sales. I mostly play classic arcade games like KOF95 to current, Samurai Showdown, and beat-'em-ups like Cadillacs and Dinosaurs and Final Fight. I now play only on PC, but planning to have the freedom to use it for PS5 as well.

My budget target is around €70. I’m currently eyeing the Mayflash F500 V2 (listed at €89.99 on Amazon Germany right now) hoping for a good deal during Black Week.

• Is the F500 V2 a good choice for execution-heavy games like old-school KOF?
• What JS do you have and would you recommend it?
• Any other recommendations would be awesome.
• Any other deals or EU-specific shops I should watch out for?

I wanted to share a personal project I've been working on: https://deltaarcades.cl/

It's a platform similar to Fightcade, but focused on the classic King of the Hill arcade experience.

I built it because I wanted to bring back those old arcade days when two players fought while everyone else waited for their turn.

The app is currently in BETA, so expect bugs! But I decided to release it because it'll never improve without real players testing it.

A few details:

Uses the same emulator as Fightcade (FinalBurn Neo) and GGPO rollback netcode.

Works with the same ROMs you already use with Fightcade.

Has rooms organized by country and connection type (Wi-Fi or wired) to help reduce lag.

Two players fight while everyone else waits in line or spectates, just like the old arcades.

A quick note about Windows security:

The app isn't digitally signed yet. I'm an independent developer, and code signing certificates are currently beyond my budget. Because of this, Windows SmartScreen may show a warning during installation.

Once installed, you can create an account directly in the app and start playing with friends.

Any feedback, bug reports, or even just giving it a try would mean a lot to me.

Last week, Fightcade broke and I had to redownload it. This made my roms not load and even after I have reset the automatic downloader, I still receive the error message. I'm at a loss here, anyone got ideas?

Ran a Chun vs Chun mirror on CE this week, so I sat down with the frame data instead of guessing. Writing it up because half of what gets repeated about this matchup is Third Strike leaking in.

• CE Chun has no fireball. Her entire special list is Lightning Kick and Spinning Bird Kick. In the mirror neither side has a projectile, so there is no zoning to hide behind.
• cr.MK: +12, no pre-projected hurtbox, links into itself, special cancels. This is the footsie engine.
• Close st.MP: +11 with long reach, but it only hits a ducking Dhalsim. A crouching Chun ducks under it, and in the mirror she is always crouching.
• st.LP: +7 and special cancels. Your cancel button.
• st.MK: +7 but no special cancel, so MK into lightning legs is not a combo.
• Lightning Kick: legs are invulnerable, so it stuffs pokes and whiff punishes. Not a combo tool.
• Neck Breaker (close f+HK): the knockdown loop. Beat it by jumping straight up and air-slamming her out of the flip.
• The throw is the win condition. Close b/f + MP or HP, cannot be teched. Whiff anything and you eat one.

Sweep is 14 damage and -2, so one bad guess can take the round.

Numbers are from SuperCombo's CE Chun-Li page. sf2ce runs fine on Fightcade if anyone wants to test any of it tonight.

i am trying to dp on this thing with keyboard and it doesnt work it's only random ,, i can get a dp in sf4,sf5,sf6 using my keyboard.. but older games on fightcade never gives me it .. if i plug in my dualsense it works and i can get dp .. is this app not keyboard friendly

Anyone know why this occurs when using Fightcade 2? Pop up occurs when I use any of the buttons like test or favorite.

Hi, newbie here. I've followed the instructions, I've downloaded the json files multiple times, I've transfered the app to my computer from my OneDrive but it's still only running 3rd strike and nothing else. Does anyone know why this is?

guys please help ive been tryinng to download the roms but the ones of the link everyone uses wont work please guys what can i do i did every step i think, installe the roms, decompressed them and put them on the emulator folder guys please help ;-;

When the first match ends it just goes to the screen where you select the next rival

Hey people! Some time ago a discussion here on Reddit led to the foundation of The Fighting Space, a discord server with the premise of choosing one old fighting game freely available on Fightcade and play it for a month. At the end of the month then host a tournament and have a fun poll to decide the next game. I'm happy to say that it gave life to an awesome experience and we're still going and growing after almost a year, with bigger exciting tournaments and events on the horizon!

What is the easiest way to run Fightcade on a candy cabinet with a 240p CRT monitor?

Hello, running this on windows. Ive extracted all the files to emulator folder as instructed, running the game via test game button or room invite doesnt work. help

had some features i wanted to add to core but couldn’t find the open source repo. is fightcade closed source?

friends list. i played someone in sf3 who was perfectly matched and wanted to add him as a mutual so we could play more. saw no game history or way to save them or even just open a dm with them

auto matchmaker. wanted to just jump into ranked games that auto match on closest elo instead of randomly challenging people in chat

wanted to see a list of my matches. saw some replays which was cool but some of my games were missing.

voice chat. would be cool to have double opt in voice chat during games. or even just a palette of reactions

also, some of these features may exist but i haven’t found them yet. really enjoyed my time with sf3 on fightcade last night!

I can’t fight my friend who lives with me now how do I fix this because we both have fight sticks that for some reason are the same button in the binds so if makes it so we can press each others button how do we fix this?

For IKEMEN GO, the Mugen replacement, How do you add "Remap Controllers" to the start of the game like what Divekick does? Adding it to the front page's options would be fine too.
