I had booked a Tata Punch EV in mid-July from Shaw tata bavdhan, Pune. The salesman had promised delivery of the car in 8-10 weeks. Expecting the car to come by in September, I patiently waited. But then September went by and there was not even a call by Tata for the chassis number and disbursal of money (i had only paid the booking amount 11k). I called them quite a few times and finally they said the wait for the car is 5 more months due to manufacturing issues. I am unsure if the wait is actually that long or do they want some bribe to get the car early.

Is anyone else facing this issue? What should i do? Open to suggestions

I got this sms that i have pending challan when i checked online on the portal it does not show any pending challan.

I'm confused if it will get a facelift or not cause I have heard it from few people that Ertiga will get it's facelift model in 2027. Is it real, cause I don't find any leaks around it. what should I do?

I have a budget of 5L for a used car. I just started driving very recently and looking for a used Automatic car. I will be using this car for max 3 years as I will be moving to US around 2028-2029.

I will be using this car mostly for weekends trips and not for daily commute.

I really like Honda Jazz in this budget but came to know about repairability of a Honda cos lack of supply of parts in repair shops.

I'm not looking for Maruti right now cos I think they are way overpriced in used market especially for what they offer. Also, Pre 2017 is strict no cos even basic safety feature like driver side airbag and ABS were not a thing before in low end models.

I have received following quotation for duster 1.3 Iconic DCT. This is with BH registration. I don't think they have added the correct registration charges.

Besides this, there is no other discount or accessories included. Is this good enough? Also, any suggestion for what's the minimum amount with which I can make the booking?

This would be my first vehicle purchase, so please forgive me if my questions are naive. And the community's feedback would be of great help.

I currently have a 2018 Baleno CVT and thinking about options for my next car.

My typical usage: 10km city driving on weekdays and maybe 1/2 100km weekend drives a month, and 3-4 long drives (300km+) a year.

Looking for a reliable, smooth automatic, fuel efficient, good rear seat space, features, etc.

And have a wide-ranging shortlist.

City CVT: Looks good, reliable and smooth, spacious, ground clearance an issue but not too much worried

Verna CVT: Similar positives as city, but better looking imo

Windsor 52.9 kwh: My most favorite car in the list. But service, reliability and post-sale of MG a bit worrying. Also not a fan of lack of physical buttons

Syros EV 51.4 kwh: Love the car. Especially the cabin space it provides for being sub-4m. Range is great, interiors are great. Nice warranty. Only worry is that it's EV, and a little hesitant to take the risk

Duster Hybrid: a bit half-hearted now after reading today's reviews - especially the lack of features and the worry about service/post-sales. Absolutely love the looks and the supposed driving feel and performance

the usual suspects - Creta, Seltos, Victoris: not super excited about them as the looks don't appeal to me (or interiors in the case of Victoris). it's there as it's the 'sensible' buy)

Thoughts? Anything else I should be considering? Note that I haven't test driven any of them, still in the initial looking-for-options phase.

I currently own a 2020 Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo, and I’m thinking of replacing it.
I genuinely love the Rapid, especially its looks, comfort, driving dynamics, and overall feel. It’s been a great car, but I feel like it’s time for a change.
I also own a Skoda Slavia, and having driven both, I can clearly see where Skoda has cut costs with the Slavia compared to the Rapid. That’s one of the reasons I’m struggling to find a proper replacement.
I’m mainly looking for another sedan, but I honestly can’t find anything in a similar price range that matches the Rapid in terms of comfort, build quality, and driving experience.
