Pictures Amazon Delivery Van Spotted…doing the right thing??

Post image
64 Upvotes

An amazon delivery van was spotted on Juniper last night using the designated loading zones specifically designed for loading and deliveries…instead of blocking a travel lane! This deserves a round of applause!

This project design was great, and the analogous one on W Peachtree St. was also pretty good.

We should definitely make sure there are more loading zones like this one across the city when projects like this get done, to answer the age old question of “what are they supposed to do? They’re just doing their job” when these vehicles get called out for blocking vehicle lanes and bike lanes.

Recommendations Cute places ITP to take engagement photos?

Hey y’all, I’m looking for some scenic places inside of the perimeter to have an engagement photo shoot. Anything with an art deco or divey pool hall or rooftop/skyline kind of vibe would be greatly appreciated.

Good reference would be the one room inside the Clermont hotel where the Photo Booth is.

Thanks!🙏🏾

Question Crab Apple Trees?

Does anyone know anyone who has Crab Apple Trees? I would really like to make some Crab Apple Jelly and would gladly pick the apples, make the jelly, and share with the tree owner. Often Crab Apple Trees go unpicked and create a mess under them. Having someone to harvest the crab apples helps with the mess.

Please let me know if you or someone you know has a Crab Apple Tree or even if you just know of a Crab Apple Tree somewhere so I can contact the owner.

Thanks in advance

Does anyone have a recommendation for a makeup artist in the area that can do more alternative looks? I want to get my makeup done for my birthday, but I don’t want the usual “bridal” or “natural” style. I added some pictures that have the style I’m interested in.

Coming from outta town, was camping in Amicalola before getting to Atlanta, so I got that stuff.

I don’t have Facebook and thus am not connected to all the volleyball meetup groups there. I’m looking to connect with adults to okay indoor volleyball while my usual league is off season. Outside of Facebook, where can I connect with people?

I am intermediate and prefer to play with women.

News State house candidate arrested on public indecency, child molestation charges

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Republican candidate running for the state House of Representatives has been arrested on charges of public indecency.

According to a Cobb County arrest warrant, Andre Stafford is accused of public indecency and child molestation in connection with an Oct. 15, 2026, incident in Smyrna.

The arrest warrant said a girl walking to her bus stop was approached by a gray 2024 Kia Forte whose driver exposed himself. Police said Flock surveillance cameras tracked the car to Stafford, whom the victim identified in a photo lineup.

Stafford is running for house district 42 in Smyrna, a seat held by Democrat Gabriel Sanchez.

Stafford has been photographed with a number of prominent GOP officials, including state Sen. Greg Dolezal, who is running for lieutenant governor; U.S. Rep. Barry Loundermilk; and state Rep. Houston Gaines, who is running for a congressional seat now held by U.S. Rep. Mike Collins, seeking to unseat U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s nationally watched 2026 midterms.

“Mr. Stafford has volunteered on many campaigns across the state this year, including ours,” Collins said. “The charges are sickening, and if they’re true then he belongs on a list and behind bars.”

Jackson’s campaign has said Stafford has no connection to their campaign.

Atlanta News First has reached out to Stafford for comment.

Edit: This other dude was caught just 10 months ago:

Question Who at MARTA can I complain to, that will actually listen, about them using leaf blowers after midnight at their stations?

It’s a frequent problem to hear multiple gas powered leaf blowers at the Inman Park station well after the hours permitted in the noise ordinance. Last night was the worst I’ve ever seen though, they were still going at 12:15am. Seemed to be cleaners inside the station itself, though sometimes it’s a landscape company in the parking lot.

A bunch of MARTA cops were standing around so the police clearly don’t give AF. Is there any person or department who might be at all responsive about this? It’s extremely disruptive to the immediate neighborhood, not to mention illegal.

We've been doing the Botanical Gardens Atl holiday lights every year. The price has been going up but this year it's gone up by $10! From $45 to 55/adult! It's over $200 now for my family of 4 oof!

They are doing Holiday Lights at the Gainesville Botanical Gardens now.

Has anyone been? Is it good? It's half the price!

Question Locked in for Game 6! Question about apparel.

So as the title states, I'll be attending game 6 on Thursday and I'm super excited. Will there be Dream Apparel available for purchase? More specifically, are there any club level stores? It's my first game club level so I want to be sure before I go...and know whether or not I need to stop at Dick's beforehand instead.

Question Looking for weird/unconventional performers for a house party on 11/14!

Hey y’all! I’m throwing my 32nd birthday party on November 14th in the Tucker/Decatur area and looking to hire some unusual entertainment.

Think magicians, mimes, celebrity impersonators, interpretive dancers, performance artists, circus performers, experimental musicians, or really anyone with a strange and entertaining talent.

The party has a ridiculous European nightclub/avant-garde art installation vibe, and I’d love to have some unexpected performances throughout the night.

I’m open to pretty much anything. The weirder and more memorable, the better. Bonus points if it’s something that makes everyone wonder what the hell they’re watching.

If you perform or know someone who does, comment or shoot me a DM! Would love to see what you’ve got.
