Many will know him as Chekov from Star Trek. But he was also an accomplished writer including writing “The Infinite Vulcan” for Star Trek: The Animated Series, which saw heavy rotation on Nickelodeon in the 1980s. In fact, at one point Nickelodeon dedicated an entire day to the series, which I believe was used to promote the Super Toy Run. Although I may be wrong on that one.
He also wrote the Land of the Lost episode that introduced Enik, a time traveling Sleestack from the distant past. The series, and that episode, were so popular that the show actually returned to CBS’s Saturday Morning in the mid 80s. A rare feat considering I can’t remember many other times that a show that had been cancelled 10 years prior made it back on to the network schedule.
RIP Walter. You were one in a million.

I have finished my latest 80s Halloween fanart drawing and it’s the Inspector Hector vs Dr. Monstro remake and here’s the comparison to the original and other Halloween fanart drawings. However, I need to finish my Filmation Ghostbusters/the Real Ghostbusters fanart drawing, before next week’s Halloween. Stay tuned.

Here is an amateur recording of me playing the tune: https://voca.ro/132E2USbXK1d . It played during important, clever action or turnaround moments in 80s cartoons, possibly in Kidd Video and possibly scored by Shuki Levy & Haim Saban.
It's in my head for years and I would love to know which show it was (bonus point for episode /timestamp).

I watched this animated series in Oman around 1993–1995. It was dubbed in Arabic, and I have been trying to find it for many years without success. I haven't even been able to find a single picture of it online.
Here is the story as far as I remember:
A group of spaceships leaves on a mission to explore different planets, but suddenly, all communication with them is lost.
A rescue mission is then organised to investigate what happened to the missing spaceships.
The main character is a young boy, approximately 8–10 years old, with brown hair. His father was part of the missing expedition. Determined to find him, the boy secretly boards the rescue spaceship. He is discovered shortly after the spaceship launches.
The boy also has a small silver robot companion with a round head.
The spaceship itself has a rather unusual design, somewhat resembling a white jellyfish.
The crew includes:
During their journey, they visit different planets, encounter aliens, and face attacks from hostile robots.
I particularly remember human-sized brown robots carrying guns. The main villain was a white-and-black robot, somewhat resembling Darth Vader. He also had a robot sister whose face looked relatively human.
As far as I remember, the main villain eventually dies.
The ending is the most important part I remember: The young boy finally discovers that his missing father is still alive, and they are reunited.
I watched this cartoon on television in Oman during the 1990s, possibly through a satellite dish. I am unsure of its original country of production, but the version I watched was entirely dubbed in Arabic.
It is NOT Grendizer, Voltron, Robo Story, Ulysses 31, Captain Future, or Space Battleship Yamato.
I would genuinely appreciate any help identifying this series. Even its original Japanese, French, English, or Arabic title would mean a lot to me.
