You have have done an amazing job at remaking some unit models. These models really stand out from the rest and look very faithful to classic.
Nether drake | Ogre Magi | Shadow Hunter | Chimera ... and many more that are not shown in this post due to file-size limits such as Demon Hunter - Far Seer - Lich
Please make every other model as faithful as these!.
For community members: If you know any other DE model that is loyal in design to classic, feel free to type its name in comments below.
Is there any custom campaign that revolves around the Frozen throne expansion like for example,
We have Enhanced and Reborn of the Human Campaign in Reign of Chaos
Is there any something like that for the campaigns of Frozen Throne because I have played almost all knowned đ campaign enhanced and reborn for Reign of Chaos
I've finished the Forsaken Kingdom campaign, and I enjoyed it. It's true that, like many people, I would've preferred it to have more RTS elements, more in line with a classic Warcraft campaign, but it kept me hooked and I had a good time all the way to the end.
That said, I have mixed feelings about it, and it left me with a bittersweet taste in my mouth. Partly because, as I mentioned, it lacks more traditional RTS gameplay, but also because I can't shake the feeling that the expansion/campaign is incomplete. Shouldn't there have been more campaigns? I mean, both the base game, RoC, and the TFT expansion have 5 and 4 campaigns respectively, whereas FK only has 2 (and one of them is a prologue, like RoC's Exodus of the Horde, while the main one feels more like a "bonus" campaign due to its similarities to the Rexxar campaign).
And what about this plane?
Blizzcon 2026 - Forsaken Kingdom presentation
Am I the only one who thought we were going to get 4 campaigns when we saw those four banners? From left to right:
Scarlet Crusade campaign
Alliance campaign
Forsaken campaign
Scourge campaign
In the end, we got what we already know: 2 campaigns centered around Garek, one serving as an Alliance prologue and the main campaign structured in acts featuring the Forsaken.
And this is where I'd like to throw an idea out there... Could Blizzard update Forsaken Kingdom and add 2-3 more campaigns? We already have a precedent with TFT, which initially introduced its 3 main campaigns (Sentinels, Blood Elves, and Scourge), and was later updated with the Rexxar campaign acts. Some possible ideas could be:
Scourge campaign: Featuring Baron Rivendare as the main character, alongside the other Horsemen of Naxxramas. It would complement the original campaigns nicely by making their main villain the protagonist of this one.
Alliance campaign: Set alongside or as a continuation of the "The Last Days of Lordaeron" prologue campaign, with Alexandros Mograine as the protagonist. It could cover the creation of Ashbringer, the final days of the Knights of the Silver Hand, and the order's split into the Scarlet Crusade and the Argent Dawn.
Scarlet Crusade campaign: Featuring Sally Whitemane and Renault Mograine as the main characters, alongside other prominent members of the organization, such as Saidan Dathrohan, Isillien, and Abbendis (who, by the way, is mentioned near the end of Act I).
The last two campaigns could perhaps be merged into one, but the important thing is that adding these campaigns could help redeem FK a little by giving it a more RTS-focused style rather than leaning so heavily into RPG elements. The current campaign structure might need a bit of reworking, placing these new campaigns somewhere in the middle while keeping the Forsaken campaign as the final one, serving as the conclusion to Garek's story arc.
It's unlikely that Blizzard will do any of this, for several reasons:
They seem to have made it pretty clear that this was meant to be a "single-campaign" expansion, especially since the main campaign is actually titled "Forsaken Kingdom", the same as the expansion itself.
It's possible that the expansion was never intended to be something like TFT, but rather a sort of "test the waters" release to see whether it would be well received. If it was, they could then release more Warcraft 3 content, but without committing the resources required for a full-fledged expansion.
I think the campaign ideas I've suggested are pretty good, but as I said, they're probably better suited for a joint content release with WoW: Forever (as they've already done with the Forsaken Paladin).
Blizzard adding extra campaigns to content that people have already paid for? When they could put them in a new expansion and charge another $30 for it? Well... there is the precedent of the Rexxar campaign, which was released as free DLC, but back then Blizzard wasn't the money-printing machine it is today (not necessarily saying that as a criticism... times have changed).
But hey, dreaming is free! What do you guys think?
Iâm highly enjoying the game, with almost all good things to say about it. However, as feedback intended for Blizzard Developers and the Community intended to spur discussion, I highly recommend that the Grim Conviction âUltimate Spellâ for Garek Bandarion during the Single Player Campaign be 100%, completely reworked.
Ultimate Spells are supposed to be flashy, fun, and effective. That's why there's a whole one or two minute cooldown, after all. Instead, this âUltimate Spellâ basically takes away a third of your hitpoints and replaces it with 33% lifesteal. Thatâs it. I actually don't use the spell since it is a waste of mana.
Even the animation isnât new or unique, itâs a lazily borrowed and reskinned Bloodlust. So the spell almost does totally nothing and the visual effect isn't new (.... or even good).
Additionally, I'm looking at the Talents submenu and none of them demonstrably affect Grim Conviction much, if at all. Of the three Talents that supposedly buff Grim Conviction, the "best" merely adds a few extra seconds to the spell. Compare that to Captain Landen's Weighted Net and Mass Arrest, which completely changed the functionality of his Apprehension spell. Mass Arrest even gives the User Interface a brand new targeting icon where you throw the net, that wasn't there before. It's that special attention and love of detail briefly shown to Captain Landen on a common ability, that I expect to see over on Garek's side too. That is the level of attention to detail and professionalism that is the Expected Behavior for a AAA game, not what we got with Grim Conviction.
An Ultimate Spell is supposed to be useful and fun, this is neither. In fact, this one is a HARD NEGATIVE on the experience because it takes away from another concept that could be there instead. In fact, this one is so bad Iâm not really sure why this made it into the game, it doesnât pass standard industry QA controls, let alone the vaunted âBlizzard polishâ. Itâs like a developer typed up placeholder, throwaway spell just to have something iterative for the dayâs build. It made its way into the developer and Change List, but then they clearly forgot to replace this placeholder with something real.
I'm really hoping that Blizzard prioritize reworking this one ability from scratch ASAP. It really stands out from an otherwise pretty solid product as a glaring defect that still needs to be fixed after they admittedly rushed the game out for launch in order to make Blizzcon. Blizzard, please don't forget to clean up this mistake! Give us something fun and cool right here.
From previous post i understood that clan in warcraft are pretty much dead , however we could still create a clan for Reddit or discord channel and organised some event to play ladder in team or other mod ?
I didn't like that they added locations that don't exist in wow such as Dawn's Watch in western tirisfall.
I think the whole story steals credit for the founding of Undercity and is given to Garek and the Argent Dawn.
I didn't like that Undercity was saved by the Argent Dawn. The whole campaign makes Sylvanas look less cool than what she was established in the Frozen Throne. She also acts way too human and cheerfully.
Forsaken paladins feel a bit shoehorned but I don't mind it that much.
Act 1 was very good, act 2 was ok but I didn't like that we almost killed Morgraine and Whitemane. Felt more like fanservice than anything.
Act 3, I hated it. Bandarion and friends defeating Kel thuzad was lame. The last fight should have been Ilastar followed by the sacrifice.
