First 3 pictures are with AMD FSR 4.1 and the Dlss mod. Despite some issues, its been all fun with the 757. Can't wait to see what they got instore for future updates and projects.

Got my PC up and running and spent a good hour flying circuits. Afterwards I took her up high and started pushing the envelope. I am not an airliner pilot but I am a student pilot and I have to say the flight dynamics make sense to me. Fully upwards elevator deflection puts the aircraft into a stall, relaxing pressure the aircraft takes itself out of the stall. I did manage a couple deep stalls too. Maintain steady pitch pressure and roll the aircraft will do a barrel roll...the 707 which was a much less nimble airplane famously performed a barrel roll. I do wonder if the folks doing more extreme fighter pilot stunts have crash detection turned off as I often ended up ripping the wings off the plane attempting to recreate some that I saw.
I think a lot of peoples negative experiences with the flight model come from #1 - it being designed purely with yoke users in mind, and #2 - folks misunderstanding what "heavy" controls mean. In a real world airplane, as speed increases, the actual pressure on the yoke increases and it is harder to physically move the controls. I imagine a lot of the crazier stunts would take an immense amount of physical force on the real plane, which cannot be recreated on most desktop controls.
With desktop flight sims, especially joysticks, we are used to "heavy" controls meaning it takes a larger stick movement in order to produce the desired effect. This is more akin to how airbus controls work, with stick deflection commanding roll rate as opposed to the literal position of the control surfaces. Remember - in a 757 the yoke is connected to physical cables.
I personally prefer the interpretation BBS went for as opposed to the INI A350s attempt to create "heavy" controls at launch, where there was a measurable delay in control surface response an attempt to create the illusion of "heavy" controls.
Performance wise I have to be honest, I am running mostly high settings and had 60-100fps around KSEA. I have an Rx9070xt, Ryzen5800x3d, and 32GB of RAM. I did have a warning pop up that I was running out of VRAM so it looks like the memory leak issues reported are still there.
The textures are pretty shit, no real defending that. Systems simulation seems quite good - but I will have to do an actual A-B flight to get a better idea of the state the plane is in.

Hi everybody,
I noticed that after just a few days, there are already more than 70 new liveries for the Bluebird B-757, which is great. The community is obviously very hyped and I'm happy to see it ! I just wonder why after several weeks, the A380 from Inibuilds only has 46 liveries. (on flightsim.to)
What happened ? Not many people buying maybe ?
Mystery to me and quite a shame cause the A380 is really cool in my opinion.
Let me know what you guys think !
Cheers
EDIT : Reading the comments and seeing the mockeries and downvotes, I just realized how many of you are toxic for no reason. I was just asking a genuine question with no ill intention, no I understand people who criticize this community. Go outside and breathe some fresh air.

Been flying this bird so much since release it’s awesome. Just did little circuit and tomfoolery in PANC on this beautiful bird. Oh and enjoy some Pratt and Whitney Porn ;)

The new version of Tushka includes now their own multicrew plugin called Crew154, and if you enable the walking mode, you can see your crew avatar :)

I just did a full flight on the BB 757 from IAH-EWR. I have a Honeycomb Yoke and Thrustmaster throttle quadrant. I've made zero adjustments to any of my equipment. The plane few beautifully. I prepped for landing appropriately, disengaged the A/P early due to calm conditions, and probably had one of the better, smoother landings I've ever had. I made small adjustments and learned the feel of the airplane. Once on the ground, it handled even better.
I realize I'm privileged to own the equipment I do, but JFC, the way people have been acting like Bluebird committed some scam with this airplane is so overhyped. I do wonder how many of those posting ridiculous videos or testimonials are either non-serious simmers, or just posting it for the engagement farming.
FWIW, I was in the camp of criticizing BB over the weekend with how they handled the release, but it's a beautiful plane that will only get better. I know $80 is steep but like others have said, the built in Boris Soundpack makes it probably close to what it's worth, as you would have had to shell out an additional $15 for it at some point.

I purchased the DeltaWing Simulations ATR the moment it released today and I am very very impressed.
This has to me one of the most detailed aircraft (systems/interactivity wise) in any simulator right now.
If you want an ATR that is up to the highest standards of fidelity this is the one to get to the point of getting XPlane12 specifically for this aircraft if you are an ATR enjoyer.

And genuinely, can anyone help? I'm on my way to Iceland and defrosting is not clearing (Aerostar 600).

Hey everyone! Thought I’d share my A320-inspired desktop cockpit project.
The idea was to get more of that cockpit feel into a setup that still fits on a regular desk. I’ve been designing and 3D-printing modular panels, working out how to bring the instruments and controls together in a compact layout.
I’m running MSFS 2024, and the building side of this hobby has become just as interesting as the flying. Turns out “I’ll just make one panel” is a dangerous starting point 😂
Its done, but I’d love to hear what you think. Anyone else building a desktop cockpit? What addition made the biggest difference to yours?

Idk if anyone else noticed but now the sun visors actually interact with the cockpit and they cast shadows.

I've played flight sim from the 3 or 4 version, and I think I've sunk the most hours into it of all games I've played. I've worked in software development for 20 years as a non-coder, and decided to learn programming by decoding and enhancing old games. I've made things like SDL3 versions of Aces of the Pacific and F117, but I also set FS 1.0 as my goal, as whenever I've encountered it, it always was slow as molasses and completely illegible, unless played on a black and white.
This is my enhanced version of the game. It has a higher resolution and smoother framerate, so you can actually play it in TYOL 2026. The cockpit has been redrawn for better clarity, too. I have not changed core engine systems, like scenery pop-in. The game still works on its 8088 memory image and registers. The picture is drawn from the CGA screen memory, and the sound is rebuilt from the game’s own sound model. It's rewritten in C.
It's still a very basic experience, but it's a window into the murky past of games and simulation. It has to be said though that the instrument simulation is actually pretty complicated, and, surprisingly, there is a WWII module with AI opponents, WTF.
The game contains on generative AI content. AI was used to decompile the game with Ghidra.
You need the original Flight Simulator 1.0 .ima PC floppy image.

Hi all
I want to buy this aircraft considering little bugs with it I think it s a product with a lot of potential. But I am curious how does the time acceleration work? Does the plane even follow the Lnav and Vnav path or is it all over the place?
Thank you

I have saved 3 presets, one for each function (weather, atmos, environment).
I chose them as favorites and then i also checked the play button in order to auto load.
Atmos and Environment autoload works.
Weather does'nt. I have to press the magnifier, go into the weather settings and then it is applied. I have tried it many times and it is consistent.
Anyone else?

I'm seeing a few people mention how the jet isn't maintaining path during an RNP/RNAV approach. I have a feeling I know why, so I'm posting for clarity. Disclaimer, I haven't actually flown the Bluebird 757, I'm just posting this as a real life 75/76 guy.
When cleared for an RNAV and in order to maintain path, you'll need to open the speed window AND use flaps 1. Without flaps 1 the jet won't maintain path and you'll be on your own.
A useful pneumonic is that when cleared for approach use the LAVSP check
L - lateral mode (LNAV)
A - Altitude (set the bottom/mins)
V - Vertical mode (VNAV)
S - Speed intervene (open the speed window)
P - Path, check for TOD / E/D
Hope this helps some of you!
