Adidas Dropset
I tried Dropset 4 shoes today and although usually I wear 46EU (11.5US), they were too short. This doesn't make sense because other Adidas of that size (ultraboost) are usually a bit too long for me but I wear them because the width is perfect. Width of these was also perfect so I'm dissapointed because I really like the shoe. It's stable and firm but at the same time a lot more comfortable than Nike Metcon 10. I tried 46 2/3 EU (12US) but they were too wide..
Does anyone else has this experience with Dropset 4? I see that Adidas online shop in my country has Dropset 3 also. Does that one has different sizing? Ty

How is linchpin and does it work with running?
Hi all, my box has just announced that we'll be moving from programming predominantly written by them to following Linchpin. I've had a look at a couple of workouts and they seem fun. My questions for those who have tried it are: what are your views of the programme in general? And more specifically, how do you think it works in terms of complementing running training (mostly for 10k, half marathons)? Has anyone tried running the two together (linchpin and running training)?

Tyr CXt 3 sizing help.
Hi all,
Just a quick question and hopefully someone will be able to shed some light.
Im size 5UK on RAD V2 and I’ve been looking at getting TYR CXT3. Should I go for size UK5 or go 1/2 up? Rads are 24cm and checking on TYRs sizing chat their size UK5 is 23.8cm 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you.

Simple smartwatch for a crossfit timer app
Hi there,
I practice crossfit on a very amateur scale, sometimes with pals, and sometimes alone.
For those alone sessions, I use an android app called Timer Wod that gives me many chronometers or countdowm used in crossfit for EMOM or Tabata-like exercises (AMRAP and For time aren't really a problem as it's basically a simple chronometer for them).
The problem is that I have to take my phone with me to see and hear the timing, which can be anoying especially if I add some running in the practice cycle, so I search after a smartwach that can download this or a similar timer app.
I have actually a very basic smartwatch (Samsung Galaxy fit 3) I pais for cheap that gives me simple chronometer or countdowns, but no possibility to download an app same as the one I use on my phone.
I have small wrists and that I don't really care about the performance measures, cardio and so on (that's fun do see, but that's all, I'm too old to search after records, I do my session whatever says the watch and that's enough for me) and abolutely don't plan to upload the stats on an internet site.
Ideally, I'd like to have a smartwatch I would not have to recharge ofter, with a mainly offline use and AOS off to preserve it even more (I recharge my SG Fit 3 approximatively only every 12-14 days, so I'd like to have even better battery autonomy).
So overall, what would be the better smartwatch you would suggest me for this kind of use ?
- Able to download a timer app with all features needed in crossfit (I also accept app recommandations, simplicity in usage being mainly researched)
- Good battery autonomy woth a mainly offline usage and AOS off
- For small wrists
- Price is not a problem, althought it would be better if it's reasonnable regarding my usage
- Preferably, not an ugly watch as I will also use it as an everyday watch, not only for sport activities.
Thanks in advance.

Do you think discounting members' fees based on performance would incentivize fitness and create a culture of people sharing similar desires to increase their work capacity?
I am thinking people begin at a base rate above what the average CrossFit gym's membership costs are for the area and over time they can drop the fees down to below what the average costs are going for.
It would be based on an individual's gains according to test-re-tests judged by a coach against objective standards.
It would also be something people can pause if they end up in exceptional circumstances (injury, sickness, etc.) or never opt into if they wanted to simply pay a fixed fee* cost indefinitely.
Of course, this presumes this gym is actively seeking people attracted to this and not people offended by this or un-interested in progressing (versus participating).
What are y'all's thoughts about this as a cultural and business tactic to increase buy-in and have people work hard for the sake of increasing their fitness and addressing weaknesses rather than merely "getting a good sweat".
*I originally said "fee" and it makes me think some people think I was saying it was like a fine. Not a fine, I am just referring to the standard membership cost like other CF gyms. Woops.
