Are you doing your own programming?
Take a week off of the routine, do literally anything else for the week.
Go for a long hike, run a few 5k’s, or just chill.
Distance makes the heart grow fonder.

i get that. sometimes the programming just feels like it’s missing a spark, even when it looks fine on paper. that front squat volume before the emom is no joke though, building heavy for five rounds could leave your legs trashed before you even start the conditioning. the emom itself feels a bit sparse, eight reps at that weight plus ten sit-ups might not hit that frantic pace some workouts have, so if you’re chasing that lung-burning feeling i could see why it’d fall flat. maybe add a few burpees over the bar on your own if the coach isn’t super strict about it

The WOD is boring. I don’t like fast doublets like that as the work out ends up being all transitions

Yeah I hate this workout. It looks so boring. If I had weekly wods like this I would go to another gym if possible. Thats just me though.

Not all CrossFit gyms are the same. I also think 7 minute CrossFit/cardio sessions are lame.
It’s definitely worth checking out all CF gyms in your area before signing up.

Take out the EMOM and this is a traditional CrossFit heavy day.
Five sets of five front squats should end up really heavy, struggling to stand up the last rep,
Not everyday in CrossFit is meant to leave you writhing on the floor like you just PRd Fran or Helen.
