I recently reinstalled ark: survival evolved and now this pop up shows up every time I turn on my PC. Sometimes it pops up 3 times in a row before it finally lets me do my thing. I very much so dislike meta and don’t want it having access to my stuff but I can find the file to get it to stop asking me for stuff. Please help me!

What parts of this device would you remove, beside the hard disk that I have already removed, due to security concerns or just to keep as spare parts? And why? TIA

So ive been interested in computer science since I was like 7, I'm now 19, i had to take a break from tech for like 2 years bc huge life problems, and I lost a lot of notions and basically had to start from zero again, its been 3 months and I really feel like im never gonna make ot, I learn something, then I learn 3 others things, I forget the first two things I learn and it keeps repeating, I alsobhave classic school every day but the weekend and its hard to focus on both at a time, for me tech is a bigger priority than anything else, im getting desesperste because initially I want to be a software system engineer, so rn im learning C, its been like 3 days still haven't learnt all the foundations obviously, and I really wanna get low level in it, the problem is that I lack discipline and motivation because all my life was dopamine and its hard to even get out of that dopamine addiction, the problem that brings me down is that each time I talk in a tech dis ord server as an example I feel like im the less knowledgeable person in the whole server, and yes I know they have probably years of expertise but im not sure if even in 2 years im gonna be skilled as them if I dont know where to start, where to co tinue or even how to do experiments hands on, ive been using AI to teach me but every time I use it I just feel like im copy and pasting commands without even remembering them, ita just really hard and even though I love computers I feel like I cant get the grasp of it, and idk what to do about it.

I run Windows 11, all up to date.
Geforce RTX 2070
Corsair Loquid CPU cooler.
1TB
MSI B450 Gaming Plus Mobo
Everything was working fine, and then suddenly clicking on anything in Firefox would open new static windows (not tabs), and I mean anything that would redirect a page was opening a new frozen window.
I couldn't scroll on these windows, so I restarted the PC, and when it finally booted up, I got the "Choose Option" screen.
Picked to just exit and go into Windows 11, and suddenly, I couldn't type my password.
Like the keyboard wasn't working at all despite being on.
So I fully shut it down and turned it back on.
I got the choose option screen AGAIN, exited to Windows 11, and this time, I could type, but it told me my password was wrong.
It absolutely was not wrong.
So now I can't log into my PC, and it gives me the Choose Option screen every time I start the PC.
I really don't want to reset my PC and lose my files.
I don't understand
It was fine one minute, and then suddenly, it's doing this and not even letting me log in.
I even fully shut it down from the power supply, and it's still doing this

Basically I was playing games couple hours ago. My whole pc froze and wouldn't shut off so I turned it off by flicking the power supply switch. this has happened before but it's fix itself after like 2 mins of doing nothing. it's been about 6 hours now and it's continuing to do this. I cleaned my pc, took the ram in and out and still does the same thing. anybody know what's going on and how to solve it?

Hi everyone,
I'm having a recurring keyboard issue with my Dell Latitude 3420, and I'm trying to determine whether the problem is related to the motherboard circuitry or something else.
Initially, the keys 9, O, L, and . started malfunctioning. Sometimes, the problem extended to adjacent keys. These keys would stop responding, but repeatedly pressing them, holding them down, or randomly trying to activate them would sometimes make them work temporarily.
I eventually replaced the entire keyboard, but the problem has now started appearing in the adjacent column of keys: 8, I, K, and ,.
These keys are becoming increasingly unreliable and sometimes stop responding altogether.
The affected keys can sometimes be made to work again by repeatedly pressing them or holding them down.
In other cases, I have to disconnect the keyboard ribbon cable from its connector and reconnect it. This temporarily restores normal functionality or at least makes the affected keys respond more easily after repeatedly pressing them.
This is almost exactly the same behavior I experienced with the original keyboard before replacing it.
Despite replacing both the keyboard and its motherboard connector, the issue has returned with a different group of keys.
I'm wondering whether the problem could be related to:
The pattern is particularly interesting because the initially affected keys were 9/O/L/., whereas the current ones are 8/I/K/,, forming adjacent columns on a standard QWERTY keyboard.
Has anyone encountered something similar on a Dell Latitude 3420?
What diagnostic tests would you recommend to isolate the actual cause before I spend more money on repairs?
Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm stressed over here. I downloaded T Launcher. It offered me a 360 bundled, I didn't saw it so I accidentally accepted it. After I did some research I uninstalled T launcher apparently it was unsafe but Ive use t launcher on my old laptop for years so I didn't overthink. And 360 total security was on my desktop I tried to delete it in the files but it refused. I even tried to delete it from win + r but somehow it didn't got deleted but even pop me up with a window saying "before you leave" and several things why I was trying to delete it there's no delete option in it so I closed it but it was no use. It's the same thing over and over and over again. I tracked its location down it's in SSD/360/total security and in that folder it's like a bunch of mini parasites I couldn't delete it. When I try to delete it, it says access denied. I tried to change the owner in it's properties but it's still refusing. The virus and threat protection says no viruses but the one running it was 360 total security itself. Somehow T launcher gave me a bundle and that same bundle implanted itself so it could be the active anti virus app and refuse the delete button. How crazy is that. I even tried to end it's task in task manager using crtl + shift + esc. But now it didn't even showed me anything it just simply refuses. After I restarted the laptop the notification pops up in bottom right corner saying "360 protection is on". How bad is my situation? I can't do anything somebody has to help.

Hi, I wanna replace my old laptop (a cheap Asus vivobook got in 2020 that is bringing me to exhaustion with its constant lags) with a good second-hand option from one of those online resellers such as Back Market or Refurbed. My choice is now between a HP Elitebook 840 G8 i7-1185G7 14" (16 GB ram / 512 GB rom, year 2020) for 413€ and a Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 15" Core i7 3 GHz (32 GB ram / 1 TB rom, year 2021, touch screen) for 532 €. Both are in good condition and have a 1 year warranty, however the battery hasn't been replaced. It would be easy to choose the Surface if everything wasn't glued and welded, making it impossible to replace any component such as the battery in the future, whereas the HP allows a lot of freedom in that sense. My activities on the laptop aren't too serious: some gaming, light photo and video-editing and using other software such as inkscape. What do you suggest? Do you think I should consider some other options as well? Thanks :)

Ok, first off, the laptop in question is an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55. Problem started a couple days ago, a week at most. I took my laptop, neatly packed it into a computer bag with a mouse, my headphones, and a charger, and went to school on a bike. There were a few bumps and shakes on the way. At school, I used school Wi-Fi, which worked perfectly fine, and afterward, when I went back home, it just wouldn't work. Tried it with a brand new cable, even, and it won't fucking work.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH IT AND WHY??
couple specifications:
OS is Windows 11, CPU is an Intel Core i5-10300H @ 2.50GHz, 8 gigs of RAM, 4GB graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4 GB).
(To be clear, no, my router isn't the issue, it worked with another laptop)

I have an MSI thin GF65 laptop with Intel I7, I'd like to trade for a gaming pc with slightly specs that I can upgrade in the future. What would be a good trade that I could look for?
Edit: has Nvidia GeForce 1660ti, 16gigs of ram, and 1 terabyte of storage

Hi, so for context there isn’t really any, it’s a shared computer, I went to log on and the screen was split, the left side has been moved to the middle and a part of the top has been cut out, any ideas or just get a new monitor?
EDIT: Fixed, not sure how, seems to have fixed itself after connecting the monitor to another computer

I built a PC with MSI RTX 3050, Ryzen 5 5500, Machinist B450, CUSU 2×8GB 3200MHz, LUX 650W and TB NVMe. It passed Superposition and Furmark. And in OCCT, i ran the combined test of CPU, CPU+RAM, 3D adaptive and Vram. Also ran OCCT power test and everything was fine. For the final test, I ran GTA V legacy on ultra settings at 1440p overnight and until about the 12th hour everything was fine. But I came back around the 14th hour and it looked like the PC restarted by itself, with both GTA and Afterburner closed and found this error in event viewer. The next day, I ran GTA V on same settings for the same period and it was fine. Temperature is also good. What's the issue?

I don't live in a first world country so getting computer parts / consoles is reallv hard and expensive. About a vear ago I was fortunate enough to get a computer from a coworker.
It's Dell t3610 With 64 (4stick) ddr3 1600Mhz 2060super, E5-2667 v2 a 600 watt psu 500 GB ssd and a 1TB hard-drive.
I'm wondering if I should keep upgrading this computer or upgrade to a newer one
Because it runs the games that I play decently, mostly over 100 fps ( in the new call of duty 170 fps average) but like its platform is already all mustly maxed out.
The only thing left for me to add is a custom cooler for the cpu to keep it at 4Ghz
My other concern is, if I were to upgrade, what would I upgrade to because, as I said, it's kind of expensive. For example 1000 XCD is about 300 USD for a reference. + shipping and custom tax. So idk fr

I sold a PC on Kleinanzeigen and had tested it beforehand. Since I didn’t have a spare hard drive, I tested it without one—the PC only supports SATA drives—and it reached the BIOS. The buyer came over with their own hard drive to check whether the connectors were compatible. The next day, they told me the PC wouldn’t start. What should I do now?
