got my first roll of film back!!! [Canon AE-1, 50mm f/1.8, Portra 800]
Hey guys!!! I recently got back my first rolls of film and am super excited about the results!!
I shot three at the same time: the first didn’t catch and was completely blank when I turned it into the lab 🤪, the second I didn’t roll back all the way before I opened the back, but the third turned out like this! I managed to get all 36 shots back but these are my favorites.
I ordered a tripod as i’ve been having trouble getting the right amount of light. My hands shake a lot and I was having a really hard time balancing the shutter speed and light meter, so hopefully that will help in the future :)

Pool Party Pool Party Above the Pacific Ocean [Ricoh GR1s, 28mm f/2.8, Kodak Ultramax 400]
I went on a cruise with my family during the summer. The sun was intense out at sea, and looking at these photos takes me right back to the heat of those summer days.

September in Copenhagen [contax g2, 28mm 2.8, Portra 160/400]
Haven’t used this camera in a while since I got a Minolta cle, but I had a trip to Europe coming up and my CLE was getting repaired so I brought this instead! I think it did great! The AF missed a few times but overall wow- great metering and a super super sharp lens. I can’t complain too much.
