I live around tooele county, work in a healthcare setting at a dr office & was recently assaulted at work when the provider I work with smacked my butt two times (Same incident) i immediately was taken aback, said “that was WEIRD (his name)!” And he hurriedly walked away saying “sorry sorry “. I did call my manager who came immediately, and he was pretty much fired on the spot. I filed a police report & said I am wanting to press charges (s\*xual assault) There have been MULTIPLE times female coworkers have voiced him making them uncomfortable, saying inappropriate things, etc & he was ‘talked to and going to change’ which, never really happened. I had a phone call with the owner in which I recorded (one party consent state) where I voiced all of these concerns & he even admitted he knows he messed up & ‘in hindsight obviously if we could go back, I wouldn’t have hired him’. I told him there were multiple opportunities to let him go but only a slap on the wrist (an inch) was given, so he quickly felt comfortable taking a mile.

Here’s where I need help navigating things. I have been considering suing, to be completely honest. I am so tired of things being swept under the rug & nothing done (in this specific company & harassment/abusers in general!) especially when multiple times, things were voiced about us being uncomfortable. Is this something worth pursuing/would hold up in court? Any ideas, help, guidance, etc is helpful. Even if you don’t think I have a good leg to stand on, etc. anything is helpful to hear. Thank you!!!! I am open to paying for a lawyer of course if things progress to that point, at this time I am looking for any guidance or support

I dropped my completed ballot off in a certified ballot drop box at Fruit Heights City Hall on Friday 10/23 at approximately 1pm. I have ballot alert setup, and have not received any notification of receipt as of today, 10/28.

I went to the Utah Track My Ballot website, to search my ballot, and I am just getting a spinning wheel of death.

This is raising a bit of concern for me. How has my ballot not been reviewed in five days? What transparency is available to ensure my ballot is not tampered with? How in 2026, is this ballot not received, logged and secured after five days?

Went for a birthday photography trip downtown SLC and got some pics of some awesome public art!

Hopefully no one gets bright ideas about creating potable water with this from our shrinking lake! If they were to harvest lithium and put the water back afterwards, maybe. Or maybe this could make piping ocean water to Utah more feasible?

I have been doing some woodworking using lumber from big box stores. Last year I built custom shadow boxes using lumber from Ash trees that fell at my in-laws place that I milled and dried myself. They were beautiful.

I have the tools and the desire so I am going to replace all the cabinets in my house.

I would like to find a supplier for rough cut lumber and maybe lower prices on sheet products. I have found lots of shops that want to make me cabinets, but none that just provide wood. I have also found plenty of places that sell construction grade wood. Also not what I am looking for.

What other suppliers are out there? I would love something north of Salt Lake if possible.
