Freshman undergraduate here. I wasn't so sure of what major I truly want to pursue in or what kind of career path I want to take until recently. I realized that I really want to study in the psychology field (BA or BS? That's another question) or the pharmaceutical field. I've had very rough times in the past, and now I want to help others who are in need of support just like I was.

I was wondering if I am able to change my major since Humanities seem quite distant from these fields. I'm studying Art History as of now. Do they only accept majors that are related? Or do I just need to fulfill the requirements? (Such as GPA or taking the required courses) I know it could be pretty competitive; I'm just worried if it's even possible for me to apply.

Other than these choices, I am also interested in becoming a therapist. Would a sociology major for Bachelor's work too? Or would it just be psychology?

Has anyone been in the situation where they submit a relet form and the person you’re releting to gets sent the lease but changes his mind and doesn’t sign the lease. What would happen in this situation?

Does anyone know what they were doing? There were two dudes in 1300 alp around 2pm filming students walking in on their phone, but they didn’t say why they were there

Also if anyone has any recommendations for other upper div econ electives please let me know!! I would gladly appreciate it :) thank you!!

I recently finished Econ 122A Midterms earlier today, run by Professor Rodriguez-Lopez.

I wanted to see what others thoughts were on it. I wanted to know I was genuinely underprepared or if the test was designed to be excessively difficult, so I can adjust as needed.

Idk but I feel like the last few days there's been huge lines for food probably twice as long as I remember
Especially during dinner... Much worse than lunch

This is not good and ruined the food really UCI do better! ALSO.. we have to use their tiny green boxes because they're more "environmentally friendly" yeah, that's not even a real thing.

ik my life is pretty good, i have a nice house, nice room, im in a sorority, i'm in clubs, i go to the gym like 4x a week, i have a job, i have friends but i feel like my life is still missing something.

im surrounded by great ppl and i do enjoy hanging out with them but it feels like we're not really friends since i feel like i'm always the one reaching out first. like i do have ppl here i just dont feel like i have MY ppl or something or like i cant be myself around them and i cant help but wonder what my life would be like if i went to a different school. also im a 2nd yr so i feel old

im a freshman and just took my first midterm, and I felt I did SO terrible… I don’t know how to cope with it and I just feel depressed and horrible about it. Is there any advice on what I could improve myself, I don’t want my parents to be disappointed in me.

Is there any recommended scooter repair shops? I have some motor issue.

For the love of god, pls PLS use your turning signal when you’re driving in the parking structures (and on the street too tbh), the amount of times there’s been confusion if I should go bc the other person doesn’t use their signal while I’m transparent about mine. It literally only requires a finger flick, not that hard.

but the ones that do, you’re the best !

u can get free food from restaurants like tigawok, mori’s, cluck kitchen, and more by using the app eulou lifestyle, in exchange for content. no followers needed, can be completely faceless.

I'm trying to decide between IN4MATX 119, 132, 133, 162, 171, 172, 174 and GDIM55, 131.

I really don't enjoy coding, so I'm looking for classes with little to no programming. Are any of these classes interesting and relatively GPA-friendly? Which ones would you recommend or avoid?

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
